As long as you are running iOS 4.3 or later on your iPod touch (4th generation), you would be able to setup Home Sharing on your iPod.

Having problems with 4th generation iPod Nano. Desperate.

I'm having this problem with my 4th generation iPod Nano. Whenever the iPod is connected to iTunes I get message saying "iTunes cannot read the contents of the iPod “IPOD”. Go to the Summary tab in iPod preferences and click Restore to restore this iPod to factory settings." However, I have music on the iPod that is purchased through different accounts on different computers (some of which are no longer existent) meaning I can't afford to restore and lose my music. Is there any way I can recover my music without having to restore the iPod?

Interesting, the main page does say 3rd & 4th gen nanos, but the Bomberman page doesn't. However some of the other games I checked randomly do say 4th gen nano.
If I were you, I'd contact Hudson Software - the makers of that iPod click-wheel game.

Can't use iTunesU with 4th Gen iPod Touch?

I want to use iTunesU but it requires iOS 7. I'm on an older iPod Touch 4th generation and it won't let me update to iOS 7. What can I do? Is there a version out there I can use?

I have just bought the new 5G iPod and i noticed that it came with a dock adapter, but i was wondering if i could use my old 4G ipod dock to charge the 5G with the adapter. This would result in saving me buying a brand new dock.

So I update the software on my 4th generation iPod and it took about ten minutes. Now the iPod won't unlock or lock properly . And it won't turn on unless plugged in. What should I do?

So I got a software update for iPod.. Thinking it would be knowing all it would do is update my iPod so it would work better i pressed accept. I guess I screwed it up because I was using FaceTime when impressed accepted it. A second later it shut off my iPod and began the update which took about ten minutes then it turned back on so I unlock it and immediately called back my friend on FaceTime. After spending two hrs on FaceTime I ended the call and immediately noticed my iPod was acting funny. It wouldn't lock when I pressed the button and it won't take a picture of the screen when I press those two buttons. And when I pressed those two buttons together to turn in off it went straight to voice control and I was like what. It won't turn back on unless plugged in. I don't know what is wrong with it. Enyone have an idea? Please help.

Experiencing the same issue. Fired up iMovie for the first time today and created 2 movies. The first was 35 seconds long and the 2nd was 1 min 45 seconds long. Got all my pics loaded up and added a song from my personal collection. Plays perfectly from the phone. The problem occured when I tried to export the larger movie. The first time I tried, it sat at the exporting movie status bar (without moving) and then closed the app. After relaunching the app, it told me that my audio file had been removed from the phone. After closing and re-opening the iMovie app again, my movie project played fine through the app but as soon as I tried to export again it rebooted my phone. I tried exporting on all 3 size options (Medium, Large, HD) and it did not matter. I tried multiple songs thinking perhaps that was my issue, but each one did the same thing. I tried the lock-screen time-out fix but that didn't help either. I have no problems exporting my smaller movie file (35 seconds)using any of the export sizes. This leads me to believe that the issue is soley related to the length of the project...or perhaps the number objects located in the project. In either case, it's definitely an app issue. I do love the app though...when it works.

Changing Facetime settings on an iPod will have no affect on cellular settings on an iPhone. Something else is going on there. If she did not change any settings on the phone, then nothing she did could affect your celluar 3G.

Slight correction: FaceTime on the *iPhone* needs your SIM number. FaceTime on the iPod Touch, iPad and MacOS have no such need.
This is one of the things I hate about Apple. Why not just allow everything to behave the same? Why should FaceTime, a non-cellular application, have to behave differently on the iPhone than on all other platforms?
(I also don't like that Videos lives in the iPod app on the iPhone, but has it's own app on the iPod Touch and iPad)

I am having difficulty setting up Facetime. My daughter and I have the 4thgen iTouch and are trying without luck to use the same apple id and 2 different email addresses to use Facetime. Apple sends me a verification email to change the email address on the apple id to her email address, which I do not want. Is it possible to set up Facetime this way. However you can only sync all media from one iTunes library/computer. However, one can sync music and videos with different computers/libraries if you have iTunes setup to manually sync. See that method included here:
