So im working on a project.. The client didnt have the music for the videos yet, so i used "preview" versions momentarily. Now i have the original unwatermarked songs.. I want a quick way to exchange copyrighted songs with watermarked ones. (same songs, just watermarked).. Can i relink them? Or will that erase the work I did mastering the audio (keyframes, changes in audio levels, changed legnth to the song, audio transitions)? Thanks in advance. I have dozens of songs to relink, that would be why i havent tried it to see if it would keep my changes or not.

If you right click the track in the project panel and select 'Replace Footage' then select the correct file that will replace the music but keep any edits (assuming the tracks are identical in length and start time).

plug in headphones
connect the iPod to an amplifier and speakers (from the headphone socket)
connect it to an iPod Dock cable and plug that into an amplifier
Place the iPod into the Dock on something that has a Dock connector and amplifier built in.

I subscribed iTunes Match in the hopes that I could combine my two libraries remotely. Essentially I have two awesome collections of music, one at work and one at home. Can you use a time capsule to wirelessly back up computers without being connected to the internet?

I have a 2TB time capsule that was connected to a DSL internet connection and was used to back up my Apple laptop and my iMac. I switched to a cable internet provider to get faster speed. I was unable to get the time capsule to connect to the new cable wi-fi network. Since I dont really need the time capsule to provide an internet connection, can I ust set it up as a local network just to back up my computers wirelessly?

When I plugeed the time capsule into the new routerI purchased, the time capsule worked perfectly. I am stilll puzzled as to why the time time capsule didn't work when I plugged it directly into the modem. In summary it works perfectly when plugged into the netgear router which I connected to the cable modem, but I couldn't plug it directly in to the cable modem and have it be my primary router.

Are you aware that if you restore your ipad that you will lose all data from your ipad and very difficult to get it back unless you had previously made a back-up of your data on itunes or in the cloud. and that would be on the computer you set those up on. (There are some independent apps out there that might help restore data but I don't have any experience with them...)
Also, I think if you restore on another computer you're supposed to have administrator rights and have the latest itunes update. And I think if you sync (if restoring is considered syncing with another computer, you'll be locked out of your computer or a new one.)
I don't know if there is a way for you to safely eject your ipad from your mom's laptop and find another way, but please read this

And then tell the story of your problem that you originally included and your follow-up efforts to restore given a suggestion on previous post (though I think you SHOULD AVOID RSTORE if you can.) Select the music play list you want to listen to and start it playing. Go back to the home screen and start the app you want to use, music will stop. Press the home button two time quickly and it will bring up a simple control for controling the music. This works for me with all of the apps I have purchased including games. Just a note you can pull up the same music control if the iPod is a sleep and locked by pressing the button three times quickly.

(1) If you're talking about commercial, copyright-protected DVDs, you should be aware that it is illegal in many counties, possibly including yours.
(2) If you're talking about commercial, copy-protected DVDs, you should be aware that providing advice on breaking copy protection schemes is illegal in the US, where this forum is based; posting such advice would break the forum's ToU, and hosting such advice would make Apple liable to prosecution.
(3) If you're talking about DVDs which are not copy protected and whose copyright holder gave you the licence to copy them, then you may use Disk Utility. Once copied, you can play the content using DVD Player.
For common DVD, i think hanbrake can meet your needs.

Another way. You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive (works the same with an SD card) into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

It sounds like you are not getting audio when you connect your headphones to your iPod Classic. I would use the troubleshooting steps in the following article named:

Step one is to reset your iPod, and here it is to get you started. There are additional troubleshooting steps if needed in the article as well:
To reset your iPod:
1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.
Tip:
If you are having difficulty resetting your iPod, set it on a flat surface. Make sure the finger pressing the Select button is not touching any part of the click wheel. Also make sure that you are pressing the Menu button toward the outside of the click wheel, and not near the center.
If the above steps did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep.

It is a company phone, don't mess with it unless you get authorization from the company. The activation, and I suspect Find My Phone are all tied to the company for a reason. Unless of course you don't value your job.
