Cannot Attachment Mail by clicking on "Attachment" button. Checkbox on bottom left of screen
I've saw a similar error like this in this discussion thread (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4178118?start=0&tstart=0) and I've tried the solution but it still doesn't work.
Basically, what I'm encountering is that whenever I want to attach a file using Mail by clicking on the Attachment (paper clip) icon, Mail will hang for a little while and then, this checkbox with the words "Send Windows-Friendly attachment" will appear on the bottom left of the screen (see screenshot). I don't even know whether there is supposed to be a Finder window that's supposed to appear because I have never ever seen that before (maybe I did before upgrading to Mountain Lion but I don't remember...)
I can, however, drag and drop whatever attachments I want into Mail and it sends perfectly fine. It's just annoying me how this checkbox appear. The only way to get rid of it is to quit Mail and relaunch it.
It hinders my workflow a little because sometimes, I do want to use the Attachment icon to attach my items in my emails.

Okay. I've managed to fix this problem on my own.
What I did was to go under "Utilities" then "Disk Utility".
Next, I clicked on my startup hard disk on the left and clicked on "Verify Disk Permissions" to see if there are any abnormalities (and there was a huge list).
Then, I clicked on "Repair Disk Permissions" to fix those abnormalities and then, this issue went away!

when i click new window it opens to the right of the screen with 1% showing if i click the green button it than opens in the screen how can i fix
It's normal for links to open in the same tab as you browse if you left-click. You can Ctrl+click or middle click to open a link in a new tab. Are either of those broken?
Some sites let you use a regular left click to open a link in a new tab (example: Google search settings), and some add-ons may change link behavior. Can you check whether one of your add-ons has been disabled?
Tools > Add-ons > Extensions
Also, if you use the Ask toolbar, try disabling it and see whether that makes any difference. -
I have just purchased an i pad 2 . When opening I tunes the buttons at the bottom of the screen such as "podcasts music" etc have all gone to spanish how do i change them back to english which they were when i bought it
I see. You switched iTunes stores willingly and on your own and now you cannot get the store to change back to what you want it to be. You did change the credit card and billing address back to the store/country that you want to use now is what I gather from your last post. And I assume that it was working OK previously.
I don't know what else to tell you other than to try quitting iTunes and restart the iPad - or reset the device and see if that triggers the iTunes store back to the one that you want to use.
Quit iTunes and restart. In order to quit or close apps - Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button. The task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. If you are using multitasking gestures in iOS 5 - you can swipe up from the bottom of the screen to reveal the task bar. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Or try a reset. Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. -

The user enters values in first 5 colmns and when he saves , a mail should be generated to his hierarchy indicatiing it .How could this be achieved?? . The mail should just have details like the i/p entered in screen . If possible explain through a code snippet..

How do I get the "File, Edit, History, Bookmarks, Tools & Help Bar to appear on my browser. I also need my "Previous Page & Next Page" arrow... and my "Start" button to appear at the bottom of my screen. I can't navigate without these.
Be sure you are not in Full Screen Mode. The F11 key will toggle Full Screen Mode on or off. If you have no Firefox toolbars, tab bar, etc., you are probably in Full Screen Mode; your Windows Taskbar (with the "Start" button) will also not be visible.

I somehow lost the ability to mass delete mail using the "edit" and check off function. The "delete" option no longer pops up at the bottom of the screen. Has Apple done away with this option in the latest software update or what?

This is the first time this has ever happened- maybe I accidentally clicked something to make them disappear? Its just weird because even when I select a track and it is highlighted, it still says that no regions were ever selected.

On my IPad Air there is a red message at the top of the Google screen that says Google recording. Is this eating up my battery and how do I turn it off? I am very much a novice.
Google is using your microphone.
Go to Settings>Privacy>microphone.
Find "Google" in the list of apps on at that page. Remove permission for that App. -
I usually close out my open apps on my IPad in the evening by double tapping the bottom button. How do I do it with IO7?
You still double click the button, but instead of there being a small red button on the app for you to delete them, just slide the pages upwards, and the small screen and app at the bottom closes. Hope this helps

I clicked all the buttons in the file sharing window and now my iMac will not turn on.
I really goofed. I clicked all the buttons in the file sharing window (Screen sharing;File Sharing...Remote Login; Remote Management...Internet sharing) but I did not write down the IP address and now the computer will not turn on at all. Is there a way to roll back my stupidity and get this thing to turn on again?
There's only one thing you can do: make an appointment with Apple genius at the Apple retail store for a out of warranty replacement.

Launching Splash Screen on the click of a button
Situation: I have an application running, and when the user clicks a button on the main menu, a new dialog opens.
Problem: This dialog takes awhile to load as it is retreiving information from the database etc ... hence I would like to launch a splash screen in one thread and the other dialog in a second thread.
Following is the Splash Screen class:

Of couse you must check that it is webgui session (not sapgui).
