Cannot create new image even though verify disk says it appears to be ok
i cant create a new image using disc utility (input output error) even though verify disk says its ok. what is wrong?
I'm not aware of other reasons, at least with the scant evidence we have so far.
Did you try this in DB?

I am trying to upload a new app, but the only option I get is to create a new bundle. All my agreements are up to date, however, the iTunes Connect homepage, tells me I've got to agree to updated agreements (and when I click on those links, the agreements are all up to date until July 2015)
So at the moment I've emailed Apple but no response as yet. Anyone else suffered same problem?

If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact AppleCare(or Apple ID Support), upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
The operator will take you through some steps you may have already tried, however they need to be sure they have exhausted all usual approaches before trying to reset your account, so you should try to be helpful and show patience with the procedure.
The operator will need to verify they are speaking to the account holder and may ask you some questions that only the account holder could know, and you will need to answer them if the process is to proceed.
Once the operator has verified your identity they will send a message through to your device which contains an alpha numeric code, which you will need to read back to them.
Once this has been completed they will send an email to your iCloud email address after a period of 24 hours, so you should check that mail is enabled in your devices iCloud settings.
Upon receipt of the email, use the reset link provided to reset your password, after which you should be able to make the adjustments to iCloud that you wish to do. -

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was designed for you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchased content.

Well, I'm not exactly sure. I suppose they may know if you have or have not purchased it since you are probably signed in...Or they figure it's an old enough program, and few enough people know about the serial number, that they don't care too much.

I have set up Time Capsule to use with Time Machine but when I open Time Machine it 'cannot find' the Time Capsule and I have to 'Select the Disk' each time. In the Next Backup tab it always says "When disk is connected" even though the disk is already connected.
Your pro doesn't matter.. I presume it is happily working.
Your imac setup has got messed up because you changed from a local (my book being USB type I presume) to network drive. Did you do a clean install of Lion?
Did you use the backup from the Pro on the imac? Otherwise I don't see how the Pro shows up in use previous disk. Where is Pondini when you need him??
You cannot download Time Machine as an App and replace the current version. It is built into the OS.. the only way to do it is a clean install. Unfortunately that might be the only way around the issue.
There is a number of issues that Pondini has covered in the setup issues of troubleshooting.

If it was me, I would store all the info you need.. not using TM but using a straight copy of files.
Then clean install Lion. I doubt any of these issues would exist if you had not installed Lion over existing setup or used a different backup.

Applw TV cannot "see" my computer even though I have verified that both are set to the same home sharing account. The router works OK as Netflix comes through as does access to music.

Opening in the sidebar is the default for bookmarks that are created via a link or button on a website.
You can check the properties of a bookmark via the right-click context menu in the sidebar (Ctrl+B; Command+B on Mac).
In the Bookmarks Manager (Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks) you can click the More button in the Details pane at the bottom right.
Make sure that "Load this bookmark in the sidebar" is not selected. -
BEA Portal 8.1 Sp4 - Cannot Create new Desktop - DB Error Returned?
Please help.
We are trying to migrate to streaming portal, and are encountering a problem. It appears to be a new problem as it wasn't coming up last week.
Under the Weblogic Admin Portal, I create a Portal. Success
- I then try to create a Desktop using a Portal Template File.
- I select the Portal file we have, and the only Portal file from the dropdown.
- I click "Create New Desktop"
- When the popup displays "WARNING: Portal Template Contains Duplicate Resources" comes up, if I select "Replace conflicting Portal Resources" or "Replace Markup" it fails.
The Javascript alert says (or tries to say)
Error: The desktop could not be disassembled.
Data exception -- row already exist in index AX1_PAGE_DEF on table PF_PAGE_DEFINITION
Any idea what is going on? We haven't taken this a step further due to this problem.
Before you suggest:
- We haven't been doing anything fancy.
- I have not gone into PointBase manually (I wouldn't know how)
- By all accounts it appeared to be working fine, and then it stopped.
Current Setup
- BEA Weblogic 8.1 SP4
- "Production" Domain using JRockit SDK
- Currently using the workstation's PointBase database for the Admin tools.

If there is any problem with the template file, it doesnt create a desktop even though it doesnt complain about this explicitly in the Portal Admin.

when i try to create a new project, i get an error message that says "cannot create project. Please check the disk to ensure there is enough free space and you have permission to write projects. " what gives?
i just figured this out in case someone else has this problem. go to your "movies" folder and make sure you have read/write access, for some reason i couldn't write to the folder. i also moved all of my downloaded movies to a new folder, which might have helped.

I have adobe director 11.5 and Macromedia MX 2004 versions installed in my machine. The projector created from the MX 2004 version used to work properly even after the 11.5 upgrade. I recently got the error "Application cannot start because it cannot create needed files. Not enough disk space", whenever I run the projector. Has anyone come across this issue before?

NandhiniWhere is the projector located? Do you have read/write permissions in that folder? This is a problem I have seen if I am running a projector on a network share where the projector will not be allowed to save files (temp files etc) in that folder. Even if you don;t think it needs to save these files, it will come up with this error. Try copying the file to your local machine and see if it works better. If you are already running it on your local machine, and in a "safe" location within your user folder, then this is not the answer you are looking for and something else is going wrong.

I am playing in Pogo and cannot open the games even though the homepage and others will open. The message is THE CONNECTION WAS RESET WHILE THE PAGE WAS LOADING.
