Cannot get jdev to download updates

Hi,
recently i'm getting
"unable to connect to otn using specified user name and password" errors when i check for updates using the "help" "check for updates"
it was working fine until about 1 week ago., my login info is correct as i am able to post to this forum.
any ideas?

Err 3259 means that the download has taken too long to respond. Are you sure your internet connection is okay? Have you tried powering your router off and then on again?

I have purchased the ios 3.1 update for my 1st generation iPod Touch, but cannot get it to download. When I check the summary on iTunes, it says that I have the most up-to-date version of 2.1. Is iTunes signed into the same iTunes account that purchased it?
How long ago did you purchase it?

Purchased music does not count against your iCloud storage and you cannot get rid of them in the purchased tab.
What is backed up
You get unlimited free storage for:
Purchased music, movies, TV shows, apps, and books
Notes: Backup of purchased music is not available in all countries. Backups of purchased movies and TV shows are U.S. only. Previous purchases may not be restored if they are no longer in the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBookstore.

I cannot get Icloud for windows update 4.0.2 to install on my Win 8.1 Pro PC its an AMD 64 bit processor.

I get the update notification and authorize its installation and it try's but fails.
I have down loaded the update and tried installation manually but it doesn't work.
I get the following message after it fails:
Errors occurred while installing the updates. If the problem persists, choose Tools > Dowmnload only and try installing manually.
I have tried this many times to no avail

I have been getting the same message for a few days now. Apple must have an a bug in this update

I would be concerned too if the speaker on my iPhone was not working. I found an article with some steps to take when you are experiencing issues like this.
I recommend reviewing the full article, but step 2 specifically stood out to me for the issue you are experiencing:
2. Make sure the Ring/Silent switch is not switched to silent.

I cannot get images to download with Elements 9 (Windows) the past two days. I have degfragmented the computer 2X and downloaded Elements 9 2X... Still will not download, However, organizer opens as normal...

From a storage card... Have done this many times in the past...

Are you attempting to download from camera or storage card? Try copying the files to your hard drive and then use the Organizer menu: File >> Get Photos & Videos >> from Files & Folders

ITunes album as a gift and cannot get it to download.

I received an ITunes album as a gift. I cannot get it to download. It states I don't have Itunes, even though it is open and running in the background. I have the latest version and have tried both with it open and closed.

I cannot get Mavericks to download, even when connected directly through ethernet. Anybody know why? I am running OS Lion, the most recent version and my Mac ws from late 2011

I asked this question before, and was told to connect directly to the internet via ethernet, rather than attempting to download wirelessly. Three times I have attempted the download, and the most I get is a small blue dot on the launchpad icon. I click on the Mac store and while it says "Downloading" nothing seems to be happening. All apps are updated and closed and yet...nothing.
I am really frustrated with this whole thing! I am wondering, is Mavericks really worth all this hassle as an upgrade from Lion? And of course, you cannot get help from Apple without paying $20 unless Mavericks downloaded successfully and you are just having trouble.
If anyone out there can help me with potential problems I can remedy myself, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance!

The download speed all depends on the speed of your internet connection. Mavericks is a 5+ GB download and it will take a while even with a fairly fast internet connection.
The progress bar will barely move in the first few minute and it may take several hours to complete. If the App store is saying it is downloading then I would think it is downloading. Just let it run and set you mac not to go to sleep.
