Cannot install DM 2.0 for Mac OSX

I am running Snow Leopard 10.6.5 and just today my DM let me know that there was a new version available. I went on to download it but it won't install at all; the installer throws an error at the end that says: "There were errors with the installation. You may want to try installing again".
And in the middle of the error screen: "The installer encountered an eror that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance."
When I open Console.app I see no other errors than the ones isted above so I have no way of knowing what the real problem is. I uninstalled the old version of the DM, tried again and it still failed to install v2.0 or even the old DM v1.0 so now I am screwed. Also tried re-installing in 64 and 32-bit modes and it made no difference...can anyone help??? Thanks everyone!

I had installed 1.0 afew days before v2.0 came out. Now something funny happens: the BB is seen by the computer as a flash drive(no bb icon!) and the DM does not detect it at all...and yes I am running it in 32-bit mode. When I boot in Windws 7 x64 the bb is recognized though...what gives???

Firefox, Safari, and PhotoShop each handle embedded color profiles differently. For an add-on that makes it easier to experiment with Firefox's color management options, you might be interested in: [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/color-management/ Color Management :: Add-ons for Firefox]. I haven't tried it myself.

I cannot install flash player on my MAC - (osx 10.8.4) - it downloads 50%, then clicks to "finish"

I cannot install flash player on my Mac - running OSX 10.8.4 and Safari 6.0.5. The progress bar show is as downloading to 50%, then converts to "installing" and immediately goes to 100% and says it's installed. But it's not. I get another Adobe Flash installer icon on my desktop instead. Help!

First, remove Adobe Flash Player completely using Flash Player uninstaller for MAC : http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-mac-os.html
Download offline installer for Adobe Flash Player (MAC) from here : http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/mac/install_flash_playe r_11_osx.dmg
Once the file is downloaded, run the installer

Firefox cannot install the updates on my Mac OSX Lion

Firefox tells me there is an update. I click install, but it just sticks at the downloading screen (for hours if I let it) and cannot download. This has been happening ever since I changed to Mac OSX Lion on the new MacBook Air.

Languages are serial number specific. You cannot change them on the fly. If your serial number supports it, you would have to install it in English. anything beyond that is a hack like stripping the localization files from the app package...

CF will not start. I have the activity monitor open, and when I start CF you
see it in the activity monitor for a few seconds as it starts up. When the
message process is completed in the terminal window CF disappears in the
activity monitor.

My apologies but I forgot to ask 2 questions: (1) What kind of Mac you have
(Intel or PowerPC)? (2) What version of CF are you running and what installer
did you choose (8 or 8.0.1, 32-bit, 64-bit, etc.)?
To start, try the following:
1. Normally you'd shut CF down first ... but that's not necessary for you
2. Open Java Preferences again
3. Select Java SE 6 and move it (drag) to the top spot in both section (Applet
Plugin and Applications)
4. Open Terminal
5. Type java -version (you should see 1.6.0_13 as the new version)
6. Try to start CF again
This may not work (I've had issues with it) but it's technically how it's
supposed to work. With the Java Preferences utility, you're visually setting a
default JVM (you can do it with commands in Terminal but this is much faster
and easier).
If CF still won't start, look for the jvm.config file in your CF application
folder (try /Applications/ColdFusion8/bin or
/Applications/ColdFusion8/runtime/bin -- the latter is where a jvm.config file
is on my machine for a particular version of CF that's installed similar to
yours). You can override the JVM in this file but, hopefully, that won't be
necessary!

You'll have to upgrade your operating system first.
Most, if not all, Cloud apps require at least OS X 10.7.

I installed Adobe Reader to my Mac OSX 10.8... website I need it for says no.

When I go back to the education website that I needed it for it tells me I need to agree to the Adobe licsencing agreement and reopen the browser. How do I agree to the licsensing agreement?? It never came up for me to do that. I tried to re-install but it just tells me I already have it installed.

You need to open Adobe Reader by itself (not in the browser), then accept the EULA.

Exactly where are you getting your Flash from? It is quite free from the maker, no password needed.

However, if you fell for a trap and were lured into a fake site to rob you of your Apple ID credentials, I suggest you change your passwords immediately.

Flash fails for Mac OSX

I just cannot install the free Flash Player 9 for Mac OSX
(PowerPC). I get an "Access denied Error 1008:5,-5000" , then "You
do not have enough access privileges for this installation". I've
installed/uninstalled countless times and even tried to install
older Player versions. No success.
And when I access webpages viia my Safari 1.3.2 ( on Mac OSX
10.3.9), any Flash content gets a box saying there's no MIME plugin
"application/x-shockwave-flash". It then sends me to the Player
download page all over again!
I have Quicktime Pro 7.1.6 and have ticked all its MIME
settings...
So far nothing via Adobe or Apple has worked...
Help! (another one for Adobe's Bentley Wolfe?)

Minimally you need Snow Leopard or greater:
Upgrade Paths to Snow Leopard, Lion, and/or Mountain Lion
You can upgrade to Mountain Lion from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. Mountain Lion can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for $19.99. To access the App Store you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.6 or later installed.
Upgrading to Snow Leopard
You can purchase Snow Leopard through the Apple Store: Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard — Apple Store (U.S.). The price is $19.99 plus tax. You will be sent physical media by mail after placing your order.

Reinstall Flash CS3 for Mac OSX

Recently had to replace the hard drive on my Mac Book Pro. Data transfer to the new hard drive went well EXCEPT for my attempts to reinstall Flash CS3 and Flash Player (I'm forgetting the name of the latest and greatest version of the media player--forgive my temporary ignorance). I followed all of the procedures outlined in the ReadMe file. Have tried it several times to no avail. I keep getting an error message at the end of the reinstall process and the program will not open. All of the application files appear to be on my hard rive. Something is missing or needs to be repaired. I just don't know where to start to find out what needs to be repaired or replaced or updated. I suspect that because there have been numerous updates to Flash player, something related is interfering with the reinstall process. Any advice help would be appreciated.
