Cannot open Public Folder item: "Not enough memory available in Exchange"

Hi
We are running Exchange 2003 Sp2.
I cannot open an item in a Public Folder in Outlook that holds a list of contact details - the error message is;
"Error: Cannot open this item. There is not enough memory available on Microsoft Exchange to perform this operation. Contact your system administrator"
However, I can open the Contacts using Webmail. Any ideas?

Quote: “open an item in a Public Folder in Outlook that holds a list of contact details”
The item you said, is it a distribution list? If yes, please see KB 894530
Troubleshooting:
1.       Is the issue only happened on one item in the problematic public folder?
2.       Is the issue only happened on one public folder?
3.       Please recreate one same type item in the problematic public folder, see if the issue still persists
4.       Is the issue only happened via one outlook client? Please test if the symptom also occurs when we reproduce the issue in another PC with another user’s outlook profile

If the outlook’s version is 2007, please see KB 945014

Which system are you running (is this information correct in your profile)?
Are there complicating issues to this question such as you transferring libraries between computers?

  • Cannot open Labview 7 without "not enough memory" error

I get the "not enough mempry to complete this operation" as Labview is opening. I have tried uninstalling everything and reinstalling. No good. There is 512 Mb in this system should be plenty to open Labview. Any ideas? Labview will also not open a vi. It says it cannot find it (the one I selected for it to open). It tries to load it and all subvi's but cannot get past the first vi.

I figure there are two possiblities. LabVIEW is poorly installed on your system causing the error or your VIs are corrupted. You can test the former by installing LabVIEW on another computer. If you can open the VIs there, consider contacting NI for ways to more throughly remove NI products from your machine. To test the latter, see if you can create new VIs in 7, save, close, and reopen them. You can also see if other VIs on your machine open. If your VIs are corrupted, then try to open them in your older LV, copy the Block Diagram over to a new VI, save, and open in LV 7.0. At the very least, you can get a screen shot of the diagram.
    Good luck!!

  • Why do I get an error that says my iTunes birary cannot be saved, there is not enough memory available. I hav Gbs of memory available.

I am using a PC Windows 7 I have the newest iTunes available and I have a ton of space on my C drive as well as my external HD where my music files are stored.

Can you play music on your phone, while not connected to anything?
    - If yes, check with support for your car. Maybe the radio cannot rexognize the iPhone anymore.
    - If no, check your pc for free space.
I don't work with W8, maybe it denies iTunes the ability to write files.
Think there has to be made some libary file for the files that are on your phone.
Maybe you are able to download some files you bought in the store to your phone directly. Could try again in your car then.
If you never bought a file, there is a free weekly song every week.

  • ITunes won't open: "Not enough memory available"

Whenever I try to open iTunes, I immediately get this error message: "The iTunes application could not be opened. There is not enough memory available." I click OK and iTunes quits, and that's the end of the conversation. Does anyone know why this is happening? It can't mean RAM, since I have 185MB free and 492MB inactive, and it can't mean HD space because I have 21.4GB free, which is unusually high. This just started occurring today, for no apparent reason. Please help me, I want to watch The Office!
Edit: I just tried running a copy of iTunes from a backup I have, and it works just fine, so it has to be something with my computer specifically.

    Hey, I had a similar problem. . .
My problem was that I had mine skinned (with aqua for itunes) and for some reason it wouldn't open for that same error message i reopened aqua for itunes and told it to unskin it and restore it to regular settings and itunes works like a charm, does that help any (although i really like the look from aqua for itunes)

  • ITunes 5 - not enough memory available?

Installed iTunes 5 on Sept. 7 and worked fine for about a week - then a couple days ago started getting message "The iTunes application could not be opened. There is not enough memory available."
What happened? What can I do about this? Now we can't play music or update any of our iPods, so I need to fix this or back up to prior version.
    Advice, please...

Ohhkaaay....downloaded iTunes 5 from Apple website (looks like there's a Sept. 9 version? but software update didn't find anything new), installed and now it works.

    Hello,
I have an iPad 64gb. Been trying to load files on it with plenty of memory to spare. generally though i cant load more than about 35mb at a time before the message "file name here cannot be copied because an error occured. There is not enough memory available." pops up. I keep needing to close itunes, unplug my ipad, and restart it again. but the issue remeains the same.
when i open up task manager i notice that memory usage by itunes goes from 95,000K to 1,750,000K in under 30sec which is when i get the error message. any solutions? currently running itunes on Vista.
    Thanks in advance.

  • "iTunes application could not be opened. There is not enough memory availab

I just upgraded to the new 7.3 version of iTunes, and now it wont even let me open iTunes. I get an error box that says "iTunes application could not be opened. There is not enough memeory available." However, I have way more than enough memory available, and I've had no problems with any other applications. Quicktime is working just fine as well. I've tried restarting and opening iTunes from every location I could think of. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks!

It's a unified GUI program http://gui.interacto.net/ and some people (including me) have had this error message when using it with iTunes 7 Their latest version 1.3.1 seems to overcome this, but if you are not using it ........!
It might be worth reading this thread http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=3095171&#3095171 as a couple of people on it have tried other things

  • Problems opening outline: Not enough memory available

    Dear all,
since about 3 or 4 weeks I have problems with opening an outline in EAS console: After a double klick on the outline and about 1 minute waiting the following message pops up: "There is not enough memory available on the Administration Server to open this outline." If I try to open the outline in "view mode" everything works fine. I dont know where the problem is - I have restarted the whole system, all other applications/databases are down - where is the memory?
Does anybody know this problem? How can I trace it? How can I see/change memory settings? We are working with Oracle Application Server on Windows NT as container for APS, HSS, AAS (EAS). Essbase Analytic Server is installed and running on HP UX.
    Thanks in advance!
    Regards
    André

This wouldn't be an ASO database by any chance, would it?
Because if it is, you're likely seeing the effects of a fragmented outline.
It seems awfully big for the number of members you are describing.
Take a look at this thread: Re: ASO too large for techniques on how to get around the ASO outline fragmentation issue.
It might at least be worth trying to build the dimensions in a new database and see if the error occurs. If it does not (as this will be a fresh database, it won't be fragmented) you have pretty convincing proof that the issue is related to ASO outline fragmentation.

  • IPod cannot be synced. Ther is not enough memory available

When I try to sync my ipod i get an error that says "iPod cannot be synced. There is not enough memory available." I checked and I have more than half of my iPod's memory free. What can I do to fix this? I have glanced at a few somewhat related issues and they keep mentionin the iTunes upgrade. Is this true? If so, are they going to put out another upgrade??

I've tried all these. I was hoping for some guidance..not some form you answer every question with. I already know how to trouble shoot. I don't think it's my ipod. I think it's my itunes..

  • TS3274 iPad 2 cannot be synced. There is not enough memory available....but 40Gb available!!

iPad 2 cannot be synced. There is not enough memory available....but 40Gb available!!.
I just finished copying my CD collection across to iTunes, sunced and all was fine.  I then changed some of the track names and it came up with this message. Help?

    just67 wrote:
Now taking into account that the body of the message also shows I had just synced the device with no problem and the only changes made thereafter were to the titles of a few songs, you can't be serious in telling me that it suddenly used 40Gb ?! ....or are you?
No .... But that should be a clue that changing the titles of the songs corrupted something .... Doesn't that make sense?
You also said that you "tried the troubleshooting stuff". So what does that leave to try?  The "non troubleshooting stuff"?
Did you try unsyncing all of the music and then try syncing it again? Or don't sync the songs that you changed the titles of and see if the message is still there.
If the sync is successful, slowly add those changed titled songs back to the iPad and when you get the message again, you might be able to assume that one of those songs is corrupt.
