Cannot open the document with 'Composition failed to load'.

After confronting an error message during the publishing, I cannot re open the document with 'composition failed to load' message.
I desperately need to save this document! is there any chance to save it?

This is the error you are getting when you are opening the published content on web. This is a bug, but you can use the below fix.
Open the publish/web/index_edge.js and remove the "use strict"; statement at the beginning.
This will fix the problem. We will address this issue in the next release.

I had a odd thing happen with Safari today I get a "Safari cannot open the page because it could not load any data" msg when going to a saved site with a book mark but I can get the page to load by going to google. Quit the iBooks app completely and restart the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logou appears and let go of the button.
Or try deleting the book and download it again. You can download it again for free as long as you use the same Apple ID.
If that doesn't work either, sometimes deleting the iBooks app and reinstalling it may work. But art with the first two suggestions.

I uninstalled it because I got Microsoft Office - I was tired of not being compatible with the rest of the world. I realized after I had uninstalled the iworks that I needed it to open the files. In simple terms, no. When opening AI6 files with CS5 you will only get CS5 level operators so the new Gaussian blur among others will be dumbed down. You may also only get a single layer with everything together. It will maintain the same stacking order but will not have the usability of a layered file. You should get an error message like this.

You do not have the properties in the Bookmarks Manager (Library), but you should have it if you right-click a bookmark the Bookmarks Toolbar or in the bookmarks sidebar.
On Mac you probably do not have it if you right-click an item in the Bookmarks menu (this menu is under control of the Mac OS), but I assume that this should work if you click the "Show your bookmarks" button on the Navigation Toolbar that is next to the star to bookmark the current tab and right-click an item in the bookmarks list that opens.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
First of all, check that you are looking for your USB drive in the correct place. To do it, first connect the USB drive. Then, open a Finder window (press the left icon of Dock) and choose your USB drive on the Finder sidebar, under "Devices". Finally, just copy the documents you need to the internal disk.
If you want to show the USB drive in Desktop, open Finder menu (on the menu bar) > Preferences > General, and tick "External drives"

A picture that was saved in a word document is not showing when I open the document in Pages. Is there a way to recover the image, or a specific type of file that Pages only recognizes?

My professor posted the course syllabus online and at the time, I was using OpenOffice. Whenever I opened the document the image would show perfectly fine, but I switched over to Pages because it had a template I know one of my professors wants a project to be done in. When I opened the same document in Pages to see if it would look the same, the error box popped up and said the image could not be imported and there was a blank box where the picture should have been. My question is, is there any way that I could somehow get the image to show or was it saved in a format that Pages doesn't recognize?

Open the document with Open Office. Select and Copy the image. Paste it into Pages.
If that doesn't work,
Open the document with Open Office. Select and Copy the image. Launch Preview. Press command-N (New document from Clipboard). Save the Preview file as a PDF or JPEG, as appropriate. Insert that in Pages.

Cannot open the zip attachment in pdf file

I am using the Adobe Acrobat 8.1.2 professional
and i attach the zip file in the pdf file
after that, the user that just use the Adobe Reader 8.1.2 cannot open the Adobe zip attachment.
Do i do any one in add the attachment or the Reader cannot open the attachment with zip file

I have the same issue. With acrobat 7, it is possible to modify a register. But what is solution for acrobat 8 ?(the register is not available anymore)
It is not possible to save the attached file to disk neither.

Pages says I need a later version to open a document. I have V 5.0 (1465) but the App Store lists V5.2.2 and says it's installed. Any ideas why I can't open the document, please?

When you updated to Mavericks and qualified for the free iWork apps and then installed them, the old iWork apps were rounded up and put into a folder name iWork' 09 and the three new versions of the apps are scattered in the apps folder in alphabetical order.

I am not able to use Firefox with Sharepoint - I can only open a file in read-only mode and cannot checkout the document and edit.

I would like to use Firefox with Sharepoint.
However, I am only able to open a file in "read only" mode whch means I cannot edit the document and save it. I am also not able to "check-out" a document in Sharepoint and edit it at the same time.

This may not work for everyone, but I solved this problem by clicking on the file name in sharepoint, not the document icon to the left of the name. This then brought up the various options, including checking out, editing, version history etc. It seems obvious but I have only just realised this!

Forgive my ignorance but I have never hear of iTunes Document Manager Pro. If you mean Document Manager Pro, i was able to find that. Back to your problem, have you tried opening one of those files in the iOS iWorks apps? Form the quick read that I did about this, .cwk files can be opened by Pages, Numbers or Keynote, depending on what type of document that it is and those files can be read by Document Manager Pro, after properly saving them. I don't see that you can go directly from the .cwk file in Document Manager Pro without converting them first.
I took a very quick look at the app, so I may be a missing something about its capability.
