    Hi annarepublic78,
As per the above mentioned error, your Win CS6 download was not complete, either it was in process or was interrupted. This is the only reason you see the MasterCollection_CS6_LS16.7z.crdownload. Here .crdownload means the download is in process.
Please try to download it again on the Desktop and please make sure that the download completes successfully(without the .crdownload extension).

  • I want to ask how I download Firefox for a Mac

I have just bought an Apple Mac Workbook and I don't want to use Safari. I want to use Firefox. Is there a specific website where I can go to download Firefox for a Mac?

You can find the latest Firefox release (currently 6.0.2) for all platforms here:

  • How do I download Firefox for Windows XP on an iMac?

I have just installed Windows XP on an iMac (which otherwise runs Mac OS 10.6.3). I want to download Firefox to run under XP on it, but of course I have no browser on that part of the machine, so I tried to download it through the Firefox on my Mac OS system.
The website, being very clever, thinks I want Firfox to run under Mac OS, and that's what it selects. How do I persuade it to let me download the installer for Windows XP?

    Thanks Tony.
In the end, I noticed a little link saying something like "All languages and operating systems." Probably the same as your link. I managed to download it through there. OPerating beautifully now (and also apparently with the system, it installed Internet Explorer, so all was not as dire as thought!)
    Thanks again!

  • How do I download firefox for windows under linux or older versions?

When I go to download firefox it detects I am using ubuntu and offers me the version for that OS.
But I want to download the windows version for installing in wine (and what if I want to download it for other reasons too)
How do I get past this autodetect so I can download for the OS I wish to download for, and the version I want. I may not want the latest version of firefox.
Or put another way, how can I pick which firefox I wish to download?

I don't know about other versions, but if you click the Systems and Languages link under the download button, you can find all languages and OS downloads. [https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ All Firefox Downloads]

  • How to delete firefox for windows?

    program uninstall does not work

Now, uninstall Firefox by following the steps mentioned in the [[Uninstall Firefox from your computer#w_uninstall-firefox|Uninstall Firefox]] article.
'''IMPORTANT:''' On Windows, the uninstaller has the option to remove your personal data and settings. Make sure that you do '''not''' check this option; otherwise all of your bookmarks, passwords, extensions, user customizations and other Firefox [[Profiles|user profile data]] will be removed from your computer.
After uninstalling Firefox on Windows, delete the "Mozilla Firefox" program folder, located by default in one of these locations:
    * '''(On 32-bit Windows)''' ''C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox''
    * '''(On 64-bit Windows)''' ''C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox''
#Go to the Windows Start menu and click on "Computer".
#In the Explorer window that opens, double click Local Disk (C:) to open the C:\ drive.
#Find the "Program Files (x86)" folder or "Program Files" folder.
#* On 32-bit Windows, double-click the '''Program Files''' folder to open it.
#* On 64-bit Windows, you will see a "Program Files (x86)" folder AND a "Program Files" folder. Open the '''Program Files (x86)''' folder.
#Look for a '''Mozilla Firefox''' folder. If you find one, right-click it and select ''Delete'' and confirm that you want to move the folder to the Recycle Bin.
Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
#Double-click the downloaded installation file and go through the steps of the installation wizard.
#Once the wizard is finished, choose to directly open Firefox after clicking the Finish button.
Please report back to see if this helped you!

  • Trying to find a mozilla download site to download firefox for windows using a linux version because my windows version isn't working.

There are several sites that offer Firefox downloads.
I don't trust any of them except mozilla.org
But I can't find a download button on mozilla.
I'm using Linux because my firefox on Windows 7 stopped working and the default download seems to be for a Linux version of firefox.
How can I download a windows version?
Why did Firefox stop working. I was downloading a program -- Tunein Radio - and it looked as if it was installing junkware.
I stopped the download but it seems to have already installed something called file opener. I uninstalled fire opener.
That may have caused the problem

hello, you'll find download links for all supported systems & languages at https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/
if you suspect that the problem on your system is caused by malware it is probably advisable to run a full scan of your system with different security tools like the [http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free free version of malwarebytes] & [http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ adwcleaner], which are specialised in adware and browser hijackers.

  • Can I download firefox for windows with my phone

I lost all of my web browsers that were on my laptop. I would like to know if I could download firefox using my phone, then using my microsd card to load the app into my computer. Have already reset laptop using system restore, but my browser doesn't work. Something is missing in the .exe program. Can you help?

You may be able to download using your phone, sure. Use this page to select the installer for your language: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/
    Does reinstalling help?

  • How to download itunes for windows 7

    how to download itunes

    Direct links to the installers:
    iTunes 12.1.2.27  (64-bit) - iTunes6464Setup.exe
    iTunes 12.1.2.27 (64-bit "for older video cards") - itunes64setup.exe
The second of these - which is actually the 32-bit application with a 64-bit installer - should be used if you get a warning about video card incompatibility when you install the standard 64-bit version, but also may resolve issues with playback, QuickTime integration, and problems with third-party applications (including Outlook).

  • When I try to download Firefox for Windows, it unzips the file and says it cannot find 7-Zip file and stops download

I have windows 7 on a desktop. I had firefox before which worked fine then I attached a router to my computer that may have been defective and may have damaged the computer. I took the router off. Firefox suddenly reverted back to the start up page of when you are new to firefox, e.g. here's how it works, and stopped loading my normal home page. Even though I entered the tabs I wanted for my startup home page every time I shut down my computer it went back to the beginning thinking I had only just loaded it. I did lots of system diagnostics but nothing appeared to be wrong with my computer so I uninstalled Firefox, restarted, then downloaded it again. When I download it, it says run or save and I choose run. Then it extracts the file and a message comes up that says "7-Zip. Cannot find file. Then nothing more happens. No files are downloaded to my computer and it's as though I never tried to download it.

SAVE the installer to your hard drive (do not use the "Run" option); save it to your Desktop so that you can find it. When the download is complete, close whatever browser you have open, click or double-click the file you downloaded and see if it installs without a problem.
The downloader is a self-extracting archive and should not need or use 7-zip. I have 7-zip installed on my system and it does not interfere with nor is it used in the Firefox install process. Hopefully, you have not set the downloading of .exe files to be associated with 7-zip.

  • Where can I download firefox for windows whils using a linux CD?

My current version of Firefox has become corrupt. When I try to download a new version with Internet Explorer or my current version of firefox it goes to 53% unpacked and then it comes up with file corrupt. I have had the same issue before and have solved it by using a linux CD to download a windows version and it unpacks and installs great. I now cannot find a place where I can specify which version I want and it insists on using the download for Linux which is useless for me.

Thank you for your quick reply. I have downloaded it using UBUNTU Put it onto a different partician and have burnt it to a CD and installed it. Its now working perfectly.

  • How to download firefox on windows 8.1 64 bit?

After the firefox installer downloaded and I ran the program a "Run As" window opens (see attached picture). I have tried running it under current user, however after I hit okay nothing happens. I have also tried running it under administrator, but I do not know the correct password.

Check that Firefox isn't set to run as Administrator.
Right-click the Firefox desktop shortcut and choose "Properties".
Make sure that all items are deselected in the "Compatibility" tab of the Properties window.
    * Privilege Level: "Run this program as Administrator" should not be selected
    * "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" should not be selected
Also check the Properties of the firefox.exe program in the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\).
If you can't make changes then start Windows Explorer as Administrator.
It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to install for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
