Cannot send or receive email from the cloud. all updates are competed and everything else is working fine on MAC. iPad sends and receives fine. any ideas.
On Imac I am not able to send or receive messages. All software is updated. My iPad that uses the same email address and the Cloud, sends and receives just fine. It is not "the colored" thing that is spinning but the little black and white circular icn that is spinning away. My other email address is functioning fine. It is merely the ICLOUD based email that is acting up. Any ideas?
First try deleting the account and reinstall it.

iCloud mail is only doing what it is supposed to do. If you wish to keep mail on your computer but remove it from your iPhone, and then move it to an "On my Mac" folder in mail on your computer. -
Hello, I have songs that show they are "Waiting" for download from the cloud but they are greyed out. Some songs in one album are done others in the same album will not download. It is not a time function because i have been working on this for weeks. I have allowed my compter to run for days and the songs are still not accessible. I have a Match subscription and Match is working. If I click on the "Genre" link the greyed out songs show that they are ready for download from the cloud but I cannot download them. I have downloaded over 1500 other songs, so I am trying to understand what is going on here. I would appreciate any help anyone can give me.
ThanksI did think about that and if I have to I will do that, however there are about 50 songs. I have closed and reopened iTunes several times and I am sure that I have the latest version. It fails right away but I can click on the cloud download icon and download the song that it failed on ... therefore it is not that song "or any one song" causing the issue. Any ideas?

The iBooks page on my iPad2 has locked. I cannot move on the page. I can close the page, and everything else is working fine. THis happened in the middle of a download. Does any one have any ideas for unlocking, resetting, or somehow getting the iBooks page to work? Thank you.
Just re-set the App -
Open the App
Hold down the power button until the slider appears
Hold down the home button (Don't use the slider) Until the App Closes
You might lose your place, but shouldnt be too hard to find it again... -
I had photoshop installed fine. We had to replace our hard drive, but had a full backup and everything else is working except for elements. This is the message I get -Some of the application components are missing from the Application directory, Please reinstall the application. I have reinstalled, but am getting the same message.
A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

I'm trying to connect my Kodak ESP c310 to my Mac mini but it's not coming up in my default printers menu and everything else is working. Their on the same network, software and drivers up to date, but can't get it to connect.

Used the right memory according to page, both for my iMac and MacBook Pro, iMac worked, MacBook Pro didn't start (warning tone).
Any idea?I suggest you buy your memory from OWC or DataMem. Both guarantee the memory works or will replace it if it does not, no questions asked, within their 30 day return period. I've used both for over 20 years, and no complaints.

I upgraded to the latest iTunes 10.2.2.12 and now it won't play any music. I can do everything else, except play music. I'm on Windows 7. Any ideas?
i had this problem and finally figured it out. all that you need to do is go to your start menu and click on computer. select your main drive, (local drive) c usually. Next open the users file follow by your user name file, which is just like it sound it is a file labled as whatever your name is as you have it on your computer. Then you open up the AppData file. Next open the Roaming file. After that open the Apple Computer file followed by the iTunes file. Now you should see the folder labled iTunes Plug-ins folder. Now just Delete that folder. After that go to your iTunes and play your music.
If for some reason you don't see the AppData file you need to go to the upper left of your screen on select organize. a drop down menu will appear and you need to select folder and searc options. a small folder options window will appear. in this window you need to select the view tab. you need to select the show hidden files, folders, and drives bubble. now hit apply and then ok. that will allow the AppData folder to be seen. -
My battery reads that it is 100% charged. However, as soon as I unplug it, it dies instantly. The battery lights are still functional, and everything else is working fine! What's wrong with my battery?

I have an ipad 2 and it constantly buffers on I players such as itv and 4od. I have an iPhone 5 and on the same wifi it's perfectly fine yet my ipad won't play. Any ideas??

Have you tried a reset?
This solves a lot of these problems, and I'm not sure if this will work in your case, but give it a try. You hold down the sleep and home buttons at the same time. A slider will appear. Ignore it and keep holding both buttons down. After about 15 seconds the Apple logo will appear. See if that helps.
You will not lose anything on your ipad when you do a reset. (A restore is a whole other issue!)

I have just been cleaning a iMac preparatory to sale and disconnected it from me.com then started deteting files. It seems to have deleted everything from the cloud too, so now my other computers cant see the files. Any ideas what I have done and more importantly what I can do to correct things?
The music sync is one way - computer to ipod. The only exception is ituens purchases. The ipod is not a backup device.
Copy everything from the old computer or your backup copy of your old computer, to the new one. -

It disappeared from my inbox and a caption related to the email appeared at the bottom of my subsequent emails. I have been unable to find the original email. So what that means is when you have Do Not Disturb turned on, you may have an alert depending on the setting and how you are using your iPhone. So if it is set to Always, then that means that no matter what, your iPhone will not be notified. If it set to Only while the iPhone is locked, then that means that you will not get notification when your iPhone is locked but you will get notifications if your iPhone is being used. Also keep in mind the settings All Calls From can be set to certain contacts like Favorites, Everyone or no one. If you are using Do Not Disturb and you do not need it, then turn it off.

A couple days ago I first noticed the problem when snapchats would appear on my lock screen but when I opened the app I kept getting the error message that the app was not able to refresh my story. Then the next day I was no longer able to send iMessages, they wouldn't go through and would only reach the second party when I sent them as text messages. Also, YouTube won't load and Mail won't send or receive email. I've already tried restarting my phone but there was no change. At first I thought my network connection was the problem but Instagram, Safari, Vine and Pandora all work perfectly. Any suggestions?
Try this procedure to be sure of a proper restart.
Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)
I would also try: Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings -

No matter what I do I can't receive emails such as newsletters from certain companies. I have looked several times on the blocked list and they are not there. It happened after my computer tech changed me to FireFox. How can I fix this?
Firefox doesn't do email, it's strictly a web browser.
If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail". You need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.
