Cannot transfer videos and Photos from Iphone 3GS to my PC or MacBook

I have an Iphone 3G and my wife has a 3GS. On the 3G Windows XP or my MacBook will see the iphone as a camera. But on the 3GS neither OS will see the iphone as a camera. They both just open Itunes
I took a lot of video over the weekend with the 3GS and I need to get it to my PC without loosing the quality of the video.
Any ideas?

not that easy - but I did it! You need Adobe Photo Shop or as they say Adobe Photo Elements. Get started Adobe Photo Shop and klick on the Menu "File" / Import / via iPhone....
.... and it works. You can import all photos to Photo Shop and save them as you want.

Hi, there are 2 useful methods you can try:
Solution 1. Restore your iPhone 5 with the backup file of your iPhone 4. The brief simple steps are:
        1.Connect your iPhone 4 with your computer via a USB cable and launch iTunes;
        2. Click on your iPhone in iTunes. In Summary window, choose 'This computer' and click Back Up Now in the backup area to backup your iPhone 4.
        3. Reject your iPhone 4.
        4. Connect your iPhone 5 to your computer through the USB cable. Click it in iTunes.
        5. Click 'Restore iPhone'. Follow the prompts and do what it tells you to do.
        6. When the prompt ask you to set your iPhone, choose the backup you've made in step 2 to restore your iPhone 5.
Note: Messages will surely be restored to your iPhone 5. As for photos, only these one you've captured with your iPhone (saved in Camera Roll) will be restored to your iPhone 5.
Solution 2. Connect both iPhone 4 and iPhone 5 to your computer, try MobileTrans to copy photos and messages from your iPhone 4 to iPhone 5.

It is not possible to transfer Music, Songs, Playlist etc.. from your iPhone to your computer via iTunes, you will have to find a 3rd party software.

You cannot directly transfer anything from an iPhone to an iPad. If your iPad is signed onto the same Apple ID as your iPhone in Settings>iTunes & App Store, then it has access to the same Music library as your phone. Click on the More tab in the iTunes App on your iPad, and then on Purchased, Not on this iPad to see all of the music available to download to the iPad. You can also set the "Automatic Downloads" option to ON in Settings>iTunes & App Store and going forward, any music you purchase on the iPhone or via iTunes on a computer will automatically download to your iPad. Set the same setting on the iPhone to have it do the same.
As for photos. If both the iPhone and iPad are signed onto the same iCloud ID in Settings>iCloud, then turn on Photo Stream on both the iPad and iPhone to share Photo Stream photos between the two devices. Photos on your Camera Roll that are no longer on Photo Stream, or photos in other Photo Albums would have to be sync'd to the iPad via iTunes on the computer you sync with (assuming you have imported your photos to that computer).

No, there are no gurantees. The capabilitty exists to retrive deleted data from an iPhone, but like many things in life it is not 100% successful all the time. You can use Photo Stream to sync the photos and videos or you can use an app like DropBox: When you open the app in iPhone/iPad you can upload your Camera Roll to your DropBox folder (you need a DropBox Account) and later, in your iPad/iPhone, you can open the app again and download what you need.

If the music was purchased from iTunes then you should be able to copy them over to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases if you have iTunes 11 on your computer). Thanks for visiting my page. I would like to transfer video and audio from my Macbook mid-2010 (specs below), and would like to do so with minimum lag. I m aware Apple TV has a feature which allows me to do that, however considering it is connected via either wi-fi or bluetooth (not sure which) I feel streaming an HD movie or playing an MMO will cause significant lag and/or a distorted picture.
So with that said, what is the best way to transfer video and audio with minimal lag?
Also, as a part II of the question, will the picture be distorted regardless if my TV is 60 inches?

The easiest and most reliable option is to connect your Mac to the TV wired. Just buy a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter and a HDMI cable to connect your MacBook to your TV. See > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4241 Image and sound will appear on the TV automatically.
If the adapter and cable are OK, you won't get the picture distorted. Your Mac will try to use the maximum resolution the GPU allows in order to adapt the picture to your TV. It may not support the maximum resolution of the TV, but picture won't be distorted
