Cant change the connection with the database

its strange... i have 2 databases for same schema with diferent users ...in one i dont have data and the other i have data...... i have created 2 database connection in my connection navigator..... the strange thing is:
when i change the connection of the application module to the database that doesnt have data and i run the page there are always appear data wich are in my first database.... eventhought i have change the connection... but if i use bussiness component browser to test it .... i dont get data for those views... in fact this is how this should be...... how is this possible ?
i am using different faces-config.xml files..... is this connection saved in some files and i should change it by hand?

Hi Me_J,
Here is the bc4j from one of my application module: <?xml version = '1.0' encoding = 'UTF-8'?>
<BC4JConfig>
   <AppModuleConfigBag>
      <AppModuleConfig name="MyAppModuleLocal">
         <DeployPlatform>LOCAL</DeployPlatform>
         <JDBCDataSource>jdbc/MyConnectionDS</JDBCDataSource>
         <jbo.project>DataModel</jbo.project>
         <AppModuleJndiName>dfly.datamodel.entities.MyAppModule</AppModuleJndiName>
         <java.naming.factory.initial>oracle.jbo.common.JboInitialContextFactory</java.naming.factory.initial>
         <ApplicationName>dfly.datamodel.entities.MyAppModule</ApplicationName>
      </AppModuleConfig>
   </AppModuleConfigBag>
</BC4JConfig>You should have something similar. If you have applied security on your application, you could have a "data-sources.xml" file. Assume to have correctly change this file too.
Instead of using two different connections, i prefer to use only one and changing the parameters when i need to access a different source. You just need to remake and rebuild your project for make your changes effective.
Hope that help,
Good luck,
Tif

    How to change a connection with the database in Runtime?
    My connection was made using ADF Business component (ApplicationModule).
    ADF Swing.
    JDeveloper Studio 11.1.1.4.0.

    When deploying ADF applications with database connection, you should be using JDBC data sources configured in the weblogic server.
    You could change the JDBC data sources to a different DB instance or location - by changing the JDBC data source and restarting the weblogic server.

  • Hyper-V could not replicate changes for virtual machine 'machinename': The connection with the server was terminated abnormally (0x00002EFE).

    I have a 3 node cluster that has replica setup to replicate to another cluster off-site.
    Suddenly one of the servers is not replicating with the error:
    Hyper-V could not replicate changes for virtual machine 'machinename': The connection with the server was terminated abnormally (0x00002EFE). (Virtual Machine ID CC0FD4CC-F9B7-4C68-ABE8-B7D52A87899F)
    All other servers are replicating fine so there cannot be a permissions or connectivity issue between the 2 clusters.
    This server has 2TB of data so I'd rather not have to start the replication again.
    Does anyone have any pointers?
    Thanks.

    Hi drensta,
    Based on my knowledge , "hyper-v replica broker " is needed for failover cluster replica .
    Here is a link for "Why is the "Hyper-V Replica Broker" required?"

    Hello,
    OC4J is the core component of the OracleAS, the J2EE/WebService container where you deploy your J2EE applications
    So you are using OC4J when deploying your application.
    Do you know what release and the type pf topology that you are using when deploying your application? (stand alone OC4J -run from java command- or a managed OracleAS run from an opmnctl command...)

    With an WRT54GS v6 firmware v 1.50.9 on Windows XP SP2 with Internet Explorer 7, Intel wireless internal adaptor w/ 802.11b,  I was getting the error message "The connection with the server has been reset" when downloading most anything from the Internet.  My IP address would then be reset and download would be interrupted.  To resolve, I turned off the WZC (Wireless Zero Configuration) Services, and this seems to correct the problem.

  • "The connection with the server was reset" Error Message

    I am trying to download iTunes 8 for my new iPod that i got today.
    However, when i am downloading the iTunesSetup.exe file, the file downloads normally until it gets to about 10.5MB.
    After this a message pops up saying:
    "Internet Explorer cannot download iTunesSetup.exe from appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite.net.
    The connection with the server was reset"
    Has anyone else had this problem, if yes how do i resolve it???

    Ora12500 means your OS has run out of resources, so you cannot start a process on the Server Side. Post the complete error stack, the last lines show further information to troubleshoot this error.

    Below solution was given for similar issue. Hope it works with you.
    I think it is not using C3p0 by default.
    Please try add this property to your hibernate.cfg.xml.
    <property name="hibernate.connection.provider_class">org.hibernate.connection.C3P0ConnectionProvider</property>
