Cant create an API app (365 connector or MS SQL connector)

I am trying to create some API apps but when i go through the process for O365 connector as follows nothing gets created.
Click the +(bottom left)
Click "Web + Mobile"
click marketplace
Click on "API Apps" on left hand side
click "create" on the office 365 connector banner
select app service plan
click create
it shows some dots '......." as if its doing something and then back to the Office 365 connector configuration screen except this time the Create button is grayed out and no matter what I do the create button never comes back to life.
Also not connector is created or shows up in my list of API apps. I've tried making new service plans in different resource group, changing the name around but nothing seems to make creation of the connector go through.
Same exact thing happens with the MS SQL connector but the settings are obviously different. End result no api app is created.
Anyone experiencing this or know how to resolve it?

A lot of work was done to improve reliability of the preview since launch. Can I recommend that you try again, ideally in a new App Service plan? We appreciate you sticking with us - we're keen to get bits into people's hands as soon as possible to get early
feedback on product direction. In this case that meant a small %age of customers saw some rough edges, our apologies for this.

Thanks for reporting this. We do see issue about the update button. We'll remove it soon. The update feature only works with packaged API Apps from the Marketplace. So if you are developing your own API app, it doesn't really apply. For your own API app,
you can use all the deployment options include continuous deployment provided by web app, which is a great way to update your code.
Very soon, we are going to enable you as a 3rd party developer publishing to Marketplace. Then update will apply to your packaged API app as well.

Error while invoking Create Applicant api thru apps adapter

We are trying to invoke Create Applicant API(hr_applicant_api.create_applicant) thru apps adapter but we are getting below error message - (we are using ebs 12.1.1 and soa 11.1.1.3)

This is a generic error message which does not have any information about the error which has occurred.
Do you see any error messages in the SOAP client?

When I read these Threads in Yosemite I am filtered to show only the one listing Messages (the App) as the App involved.
This form of tagging a Thread no longer shows up in the current software used to run the Discussions.
Did you use the Mail and the Messages tags ?
It is difficult as many Mail help items refer to emails and "messages".
With me posting to the thread it should raise it to near the top again and maybe someone who knows about Mail will post.

How many systems have you used Robert?
This is the only system you can not have all item data at least in JSON format and all of it. Big commerce has a lower limit and as I have said in every post related to a limit - I understand the function, but you can still make the requests as just one example (front and back)
Same with API Robert.
Firstly - the SOAP API request on say products gets you ALL the products, if you do something through a REST API request you can make the requests to get all the items to complete your process of what your doing - You have to otherwise the API is pointless.
Ok if the normal modules can not iterate through if there is a module_data solution, and web apps will get there hopefully sooner then later and you do have the sql query (where) for your filter which is great BUT, if you want to implement a solution across everything you cant do that with the liquid implementation.
This also flows through to the JSON everywhere in concept which is fundamentally flawed for the same reason... And again referring other like services where a hard API has a limit but the JSON request returns everything.
How those work varies from the method of request, some will only update every day, xxx time (Depending on cost of the plan) so its a cached version of data, to the ones that limit that request to x number of times per set time/day.
That is how the actual rest of the world works, varied solutions but they are solutions. BC know they have a few limitations, there clearly is the need for things, there are a varied set of options... It is just a matter of engaging in it and offering up a solution for it, silence just creates frustration.

I actually was struggling through pretty much the same things at the same time that you were.
The EventTriggered extension is actually in the Microsoft.Azure.AppService.ApiApps.Service namespace, so without a using directive for that it will not be happy.
I created a library to help with the metadata generation required for Triggers, and did a write-up on exactly what it takes to create both a polling and push trigger (with a few more samples) here: https://github.com/nihaue/TRex#building-a-polling-trigger-api-app

Task Does not get triggered when User is created through API

Hi,
Each new user in our OIM environment is supposed to have a iPlanet account. I have configured the access policy for the same and it works.There is also a process task which needs to be triggered once the user is successfully created in the DS. Following is my issue:
1.When the new user is created through the admin console, the user is provisioned successfully to DS as well because of the access policy and the task also gets triggered successfully.
2. There is an approval workflow for another resource, at the end of which a user needs to be created through APIs in OIM. The user gets created successfully in OIM and also get provisionined to DS just like in the above use case. However, the task fails in this case. I see that the task is being triggered from the user's resource profile, but the status is rejected.
Can someone please tell me why is this happening. I initially though there was some issue with my adapter for the task, but in case 1 it works just fine.
Following is the exception I get as soon as the iPlanet connector finishes creating the user in DS:

Hi,
Have you checked the process data that you are passing to this adapter and check the mapping of process data to the adapter variable. Try to log the value which you get from process data. I got this error when I was trying to use the literal value from process data as "true" for a boolean value. This is a bug. This value is not actually a boolean value. It threw me error too sometimes back. Either you pass the boolean value from adaptor factory as a literal value or change the type boolean both in your code and the adapter.

Unable to create an Developer app under Company profile

Have created an account under development center to upload the mobile application for company use. But when i go to payment option and enter the credit card details able to see the deduction amount of 2 INR only, but as in website it has been mentioned
as INR4500.
Kindly help me out on creating the developer account under business use.

Does this make sense? I am asking to verify if the gateway website exists and it is running because these symptoms have been reported before and the cause was exactly that.
If that is the case, then the simplest way to "fix" it is to delete the gateway resource from the portal (it will be re-created when the next api app is created). Otherwise, using the subscription ID, I can look through logs for more
clues.
It is unfortunate that it is possible to delete the website hosting the gateway without deleting the gateway resource itself, thus leaving it in a non-functional state. Short term we added a better error message when this happens. Long
term we are looking into ways to make this more robust.

Not sure if your question is about DPS app creation. With DPS, you can use the Camera API to get access to the device camera and turn on/off flash of the device, but I don't know of a way to directly get access to only the flash

Hello everyone. First of all please accept my appologies in case im posting to the wrong place. I bought an iphone 5 used, like half year ago on ebay and now it stopped turning on. I browsed for troubleshooting on expresslane and came up to the page where it offered to mail phone to apple for repair. I decided to do that but on a certain step i got a message "Sorry but we cant create a repair while Find my iPhone is active. Youll need to turn off Find My iPhone and retry this serial number." Well i knew i never turned this feature on personally, it appears that the previous owner did that and never erased this feature before selling and i never checked for that before using. I even never installed any apps of any kind. Decided to contact ebay seller to ask if they could turn the feature off. They appeared to be wholeasalers who resell used devices and never keep a record of what they buy and sell. Contacted Apple telephone support, they confirmed that the only way device could be serviced is to turn the feature off. A vicious circle. Dead end? Any thoughts?

Activation lock may lead to many such scams if people insist on buying used from unknown parties. Someone steals someone else's phone, sells it online, and of course, it is blocked from being restored and activated by the original owners perfectly legitimate use of Activation Lock.

Azure App Service API app triggers feedback

I am kinda new to this and when I tried to build a trigger as defined in the article

I get a lot of compilation errors just using the code in a ASP Net Web Applicaton project, using the Azure API App template. I tried to place the code in a controller but then I get complation errors on a couple of places. The most noticable:

Multiple GET will cause "Add Azure API App Client" to fail

I'm just playing around with the new Azure App Service API Apps. I've followed the documentation and created the contact list API. I've added to that and created a second GET method with an integer parameter. This works well on the local machine and when
deployed to Azure. However, when I try to add an App Client I get an enormous error. The important bit, I think, is the message 'Invalid swagger: the operation \"Contacts_Get\" is defined multiple times.' If I remove the second GET message and republish
then adding an App Client works again.
Is this a bug or is it a limitation of Swagger. The Swagger UI seems to cope with it effectively.

It has to do with how Swashbuckle is auto-generating the operation ids that appear in swagger. The Logic App designer only wants to have 1 operation for each operation id -- it doesn't like ambiguity.
I built out a library to help cope with this and other issues
over here, if you use that you can provide a unique "friendly name" for each action (which will then generate a title cased operation id for each).
In the alternative, you could write a custom operation filter to feed to Swashbuckle to override the operation ids that it is generating for you in the background. You can see how to do that
over here.
