application manager says this: updating adobe application manager...it goes for a little bit and then it stops and says:
The remote server is not respoinding in the proper manner. retry in a few minutes.
i have retried 20 times over the last 3 weeks.
btw, cant i attach an image so i dont have to copy the message? seems like a simple thing. oh adobe.
You can attach images using the camera icon. The rest is unclear. You did not provide any system information or otehr details. in any case, this is likely some problem with your network setup...

Reset all settings
Settings > General > Reset > Reset all Settings.
This will return all iDevice settings to factory defaults... you will not lose any data.... But you will have to re-enter all of the device settings. -
I can not perform software updates or download any programs. They appear in the download box as images that are "not recognized". I thought maybe my antivirus software was setting up a firewall, but I have disabled it, so that's not the case. Any suggestions as to how I can fix this?
If the downloads are gone, it's possible that Windows is removing the downloads based on security policies set in IE. I realize that sounds strange, but it's related to Firefox's feature of submitting downloads to your virus scanner and marking them as having come from the internet.
To test this theory, you could try disabling the scan feature. I assume you have good "real time" antivirus protection which checks every file saved to your hard drive. (If not, you really should get that, and you can use Microsoft's free [http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/products/security-essentials Microsoft Security Essentials] for now until you have time to review all the available choices.)
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the filter box, type or paste '''scan''' and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click '''browser.download.manager.scanWhenDone''' to toggle its value.
Firefox now should ignore Windows' download security. Does it change how Windows handles the file? -

I am the the only user and the administrator for my laptop and I have forgotten my password so I can't make any changes or download any programs....
Reset Password using Recovery HD
Boot into Recovery Partition.
Start the computer,then press and hold down command and R keys to start into recovery partition.
When you see the Apple logo, release the keys.
Wait until you see OS X Utilities window shows up.
Move the mouse to the menubar at the top and click "Utilities", then select "Terminal"
from the drop down.
Terminal window will appear.
Type in resetpassword and press enter key on the keyboard.
Do not close the Terminal window
Reset Password Utility window will open with Macintosh HD selected.
Select the user account from the popup menu box.
Enter a new password.
Reenter the new password for the user.
Enter a hint.
Click the "Save" button.
Click in the menubar and select Restart. -

Let's try something relatively simple. Download and save a copy of the installer to your hard drive (don't run the install on line and don't start the install just yet):

Now right-click on the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) that you downloaded and select "Run as administrator".

I automatically update Firefox, and with the latest update, I cannot seem to download any programs, and even when I want to download the latest update for Flash, it will not download. Hope that helps. Found out photoshop cs5 camera raw only updates to 6.3. or 6.7. I need update 7.3 for it to work with my nikon d5200. And camera raw 7.3 seems to only be on cs6. as Mylenium said above. how awesome.

i cant download any application or update any on my ipod touch.
once i press update or buy now it goes to the screen where all the applications are and says waiting on the new app like normal then in about 20-30 secends it dissapears and nuthing happends. with the updates same thing it doesent dissapear tho it just goes back to what ever the app was before.
