    If you update your billing information, the iTunes Store will place an authorization hold on your payment card account, usually in the amount of 1 USD, to verify your account information. It will be credited back to your account later.

  • I am trying to upgrade to iPhoto 11 but can't get into App Store.

    I am trying to upgrade to iPhoto 11 so it works with Maverick.  but in App store the pervious owner of the computer name wants to be login for iPhoto.  I keep login in but when i try to get the new iPhoto his name keeps coming up with the computer previous owners name.  In the log in his user name/email is greyed out and it just wants his password.  I cant remove his name.   On the system setting it shows me as being logged into the App Store.  I have gone to various discussion groups but none have covered this problem.  suggestions?

    You need to erase the Mac and start over. Everything is pretty much registered to the original owner's Apple ID. It is encoded in the software and you won't be able to update anything Mac App Store software without the original owners Apple ID. Plus everything of his that you have now is pirated software. The Terms of USe don't allow him to pass anything but the original version of OS X to you.

  • Apps frozen in transition after apple genius bar did a hard reset, cant get thru app store either

    Went to apple genius bar after 6 hours of trying to fix iphone 4s: couldn't send/rec photo txt msgs, get voicemail alerts, update software upgrades or back up files in icloud. They did a hard reset and fixed those issues, however the majority of my apps are frozen in either blank grey boxes or dim grey boxes with app icon showing, they saved my contacts to icloud and pics to dropbox (which is now a frozen app that I can't access). Does anyone know what my next step is? I have only had the phone 6 months and don't wanna re buy but I use for work too so need to know whats going on? Also tried to install totally different app from app store and couldn't.

  • For some resin i suddenly cant get the app store to open on iPad. It will show updates, turn on Genius, but will not open store featured or top charts. Any suggestions please?

    IOS 6 WIFI FIX FOR NOW!!!!!
    The only quick fix for now is to reset your Network
    Setting/General/Reset/Reset Nettwork Settings
    Make sure you copy your password somewhere. I did so on  Notes so that i could copy and paste.
    This will work for a while but the problem keeps coming back in a day or so but at least its a quick fix.
    I have the problem on both my Iphone and Ipad 3 with IOS 6
    The only other permanent fix is to go back to IOS 5 which I had back when I tried IOS 6 bata and had the same problem which I thought Applw would have Fixed.
    Apple better get there act together or Android is going to Kick there *** SOON!

  • Ipod touch that cant get to app store!

    First I want to thank everyone who helped me last week with the restrictions passcode ordeal. Now I have a new prob.....both of my boys' ipods wont let us get on to the app store. I turn on the wifi then hit the icon of the app store and it tells me that it cannot connect to iTunes Store. This is the way we have done it for over a year. Can anyone help me with this problem please?

  • Can't get into App Store at all

    Can run App Store, but can't get further than sign in window — I can open it clicking "Store > Sign In..." but whatever enter there the only reaction is that progress indication spinnin' forever.
    Tried to use new blank HDD + retail 10.6 + 10.6.6 combo = nothing helped.
    Tried 3 different internet providers — the same with all of them. Moreover, among about 20 persons in the office only me and some other guys got problems, rest could install 10.6.6 and login successfully.
    Any ideas are welcome.

    I guess complete reinstall from a scratch assuming that. But tried that many times on old installation — didn't help.
    Strange finding — mate told me that had exactly the same issue on a new account he created on his Mac while haven't had any issue on reverting back to his old login account. But still — fresh installation presume new account while old ones had accounts for more than a year.

    Everytime I try to get into the Itunes store, I get a pop up that says "Itunes could not connect to the Itunes store. Make sure your network connecttin is active and try again." Well, obviously theres nothing wrong with my internet connection. I dont know what to do!!! Someone please help me!

    The Fix (& It's NOT Your Firewall)
    A. Symptoms
    When you try to connect to the iTunes Store you may receive the alert message "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occured (-9808). There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later."
    B. Resolution
    Check your computer's date, time, and time zone. Set the correct date, time, and time zone if needed. If your computer's date, time, and time zone are all correct and you still see this alert message, this issue can be resolved by modifying certain settings in the Internet Options control panel:
    1) Go to the Start menu and choose Control Panel.
    2) Select Internet Options.
    Note: If you are using Windows Vista you may need to select Classic View on the left before you can see Internet Options.
    Note: If you are using WIndows 7 you may need to change "View by" to either Large icons or Small icons before you can see Internet Options.
    3) Click the Advanced tab.
    4) In the Settings box, scroll down to the Security section.
    5) Deselect the option to "Check for server certificate revocation (requires restart)."
    6) Select the options for "SSL 3.0" and "TLS 1.0."
    7) Apply the changes and restart your computer.

  • ITunes store terms condiciones display, cant Get into te store

    I cant use the iTunes store from my ipad, as soon as I Get in it shows me a display that says terms and conditions, it wont go away!

    Try resetting your iPad, that may get rid of it. Hold down the home button and the sleep/wake button till the Apple logo appears and then let it wake .  Hope that helps

    You do know tht if you created a new Apple ID - that is different than changing the Apple ID. Apps are always tied to the ID that was used to make the purchase. If the old ID is popping up, it seems like that ID is rid to the apps indicating that you created a new ID. Of course, I could be wrong or misunderstanding what you're saying as well.
    If you go to Settings>iTunes & App Store, tap your old ID and sign out and then sign in with the new ID, that should be all that you need to do, if you changed the ID. If you created a new ID, that will not work.

    Since upgrading to 5,0.1, I am not able to update my apps.  I can sign in & our of the iTunes store with no issues.  Please help - I have 22 items that need to be updated.  I have changed my password several times already.

    I had the same problem when I manually changed my time to be one hour earlier, as my phone adjusted to summer time, and the government here in Egypt decided to cancel the summer time for this year. When I switched my time settings from manual to automatic again, all is back to normal and I was able to sign in to my app store account, and started downloading new apps normally.
    Obviously, it has to do with time settings on your phone. Set time to automatic, and give it a try.
