Cant get itunes to sync iphone or ipad or ipod

cant get itunes to sync with iphone or other devices?

I did that and the device driver is correct, at least there is no error triangle there. I have no third party software that should interfere, so I'm back to square one. When I plug the device in to the PC with the USB the device shows up in itunes. When I remover the USB the device disappears, so it is not finding it wirelessly. I have checked and unchecked the sync this device over wifi and reapplied the settings and still it won't hold. I don't know what else to do. Is Apple going to release a fix for this?
When I was going thru the steps to uninstall and reinstall itunes, the apple device support program would not uninstall so I skipped it and went on. Itunes works but not wireless. Would that make a difference?
This is frustrating that Apple would release something so flawed. Was this never tested? Seems so simple and so basic.

IPhoto folders not in iTunes when syncing iPhone or iPad

After de latent updates of Mountain Lion. iTunes and ios6. I can only choose all photo's on my iPhone or iPad and
the folder selection is grayed out. Also they tricks ( delete music from photoslideshows did not help) .
Another Thing not working anymore is that video from taken from iPhone or iPad is not 'tagged' anymore als film.
So creation of smartfolders is again à manual Thing.

My issue was resolved by deleting the sync services folder as discussed here: updated itunes 11.2 crashes after opening

I am trying to sync my ipod with my computer, and there are files that were purchased for a different ipod on my computer. even though I authorize this computer to sync the files, iTunes won't add them to my iPod. Any suggestions?

If you are transferring photos from iPhoto on your Mac, you mean the iPhoto albums that are available to select under the Photos tab for your iPad sync preferences? if so, this is a one way transfer process only - from your computer to your iPad.
iTunes does not handle the import of photos from your iPad, which can include photos imported from a digital camera or from a digital camera's storage card with the Camera Connection Kit, or a photo saved from a received email, from a website, or by a 3rd party app that is capable of saving a photo in the same location.
It sounds like the app developer has allowed for transferring photos saved by the app in the app's "Saved" area to your computer via an available wi-fi network that both your computer and iPad are connected to. Unless the app developer allows for saving the photos from the app's "Saved" area to the same location where a photo saved from a received email or from a website is stored, there is no way to import these photos via iPhoto or the Image Capture application on your Mac, which is used for importing photos, not iTunes.

You are looking in the right place for all that information! You do need to be completely logged on (at the top right) in order to see all the values.
If you are not getting the best signal, you can also change the security type under Wifi settings and Security. Various types can work better with certain computers. Do not make it an open network however.
What zip code are you in that this is happening? Is it only indoors? Let us know and we can take a look on the network side.

Itunes sync issue cant get past find my iphone page. has been months alr.

When ever i connect my iphone to my computer, it would bring up itunes but as soon as the iphone page loads this appears:

I had the same problem last night... I solved it but really just got around it.

- Existing setup was itunes 9.x with an IPOD worked great for many years
- bought a new iphone 4 monday
- connected to windows 7 64bit dekstop and got the setup text in itunes for "find my iphone" with two options (jave script links) that were dead links did nothing - you are stuck here
- tried my other laptop (also already loaded with itunes 9.x same result
- tried upgrading itunes to 10.2.1 same results
- wiped the iphone same results
- removed itunes - used reg cleaner to scrub all references and loaded 10.2.1 itunes fresh from a download (rebooting laptop a lot) Same results
How i got around it after 5 hours of trial and error
- I got my laptop that never had itunes installed ever - loaded itunes 10.2.1 and then attached the iphone 4 to sync - it installed a new driver for the iphone and the iphone was successfully connected to itunes. I synced to this itunes without any issues. although there was nothing to sync from this machine.
- I then took the laptop back to the machine that I had not removed itunes (just upgraded itunes) and it was able to connect to itunes and sync without any issues. I had to be make sure it was defined to this laptops copy of itunes but it works now without issue.
I can only conclude that the driver or older version of itunes had set the device in a strange state in regards to syncing and establishing connectivity for a sync with itunes and defining it to a new machine with a new install of itunes and having the driver for iphone 4 freshly installed cleared that state it was in.
More work should be done by the apple engineers to determine technically what the root casuse is but I was able to get around the issue.

Cant get Itunes and ItunesU to sync

I have just downloaded the new ItunesU app on my Ipad, but cant get it to sync with Itunes on my macmini.
The Ipad is upto date software wise and I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling it but to no avail.
When I sync to the mac mini it does not put all the downloads into one collection under the itunesU tab but splits them up.
If I download an episode onto the macmini then it does not sync to the ipad.
Is anyone else had this problem?
The mac mini is runnning osx 10.5.3, with itunes 10.6.8

Hi Steve, Thanks for that. When I conect the phone it comes up with iphoto and starts to sync and then when that is finnished the itunes window shows my phone syncing at the top of the screen. The only button that says iphone which is on top right only asks if I want to eject and then disapears when sync finnishes. I can not see any other way of showing a side bar view and i can not access any way of controling the sycn service. It seems to be syncing calander but not my contacts. Have I missed something?

The problem here is that iTunes wants to make sure that the songs that were purchased are sent to the same device that purchased them. In this case, you would need to authorize your computer first. This is as easy as opening iTunes, find "store" in the upper status bar, and select Authorize This Computer. A dialogue will pop up asking for your iTunes ID and your password. Enter the ID you purchased the songs with. Afterwords, you should be able to sync the songs.

I can't get itunes to sync some metadata over to my iphone 5. For example, for all of my metadata for Orianthi is correct, but When I choose her on my iphone, it shows thw songs all broken up followed by artwork from AC/DC! So I opened itunes, made sure all metadata was correct and then connected my phone to sync. Nothing. It doesnt change my music on the iphone to match itunes. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ok, ran updates, found 3 new updates and after this was done all was well again. Still not sure why it only affected the touch and iphone, but guess i don't need to LOL.
