Cant join group calls at all

Hello, i am not able to join a group call at all. Even if my friends try to add me to call, they said they are not able to. I use to be able to, but now i cant. I have googled and tried almost every solution.

This is the message that i get in the chatbox. I cant even type in the group or anything, it is very annoying please help. I am also on windows 8.1 & the latest skype version

Hello.I recently got this very unusual problem with Skype. While I was talking in a group conversation, my internet bugged out, and as a result, of course, it kicked me out of the call. Afterwards, the internet started working just fine, but now it doesn't even let me call anyone, and I can't join group chats. When I call someone, it says that they were not called, or when I try to join a group call, it just stays silent for a couple of seconds, and kicks me out. My friends on the other side of the call say that I'm just ringing, but not joining the call.I have reinstalled Skype at least 5 times, restarted my computer, deleted Skype and reinstalled it yet again, and even got an error 3-4 times saying that the installation could not compelte correctly.I don't have a clue what the problem could be. And my headphones work just fine, so it can't be that. Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah i'm with you there. plus, haven't you seen the new skype in web browser now. Its in a beta right now and probably going to be legit. First of all, Fix your program first. We don't need more pieces of useless **bleep** for skype. We just need it fixed. so stop sitting with your thumbs up your ass and actually make your program not a piece of **bleep**. Before skype was amazing bit now, like everything else microsoft has made, it went down fast. So please do us and yourself a favor fixed this bug already.

Cant join group calls

I have tried 3 or 4 older versions and still nothing, Skype is a joke and they dont seem to care that people have this issue every update and have been having it and similar issued for 3 years now.
No solutions i can find work, your company and product is a joke.

The latest update which for me updated yesterday, then i tried downgrading to 7.0 7.1 and 6.14 and all versions of skype kept auto hanging up on group calls.

Hey guys.
So just today, I was in a skype call, then we left to another call, but for some reason I couldnt join, they had added me, I was in the call but whenever I clicked the Join Call button, I got kicked almost straight away
I have tried...
Going to %appdata% and renaming Skype to Skype_old, this didnt work.
I tried deleting the DB file, this also didnt work.
Could someone please help me as I would love to skype in a group with some friends again.

The subject, whenever I try to join group calls I get my friends' names, profile pictures, and a loading/connecting sort of animation shown in the attachment, and then I don't even join the call, it just closes and skype stops showing the people in the call. I can call my friends individually just fine, but whenever I try to join the group call, it doesn't even let me in for a second.

AND YOU DIDN'T MOVE A FINGER TO FIX THIS FU CKING ANNOYING BUG.
As I've said in that post, your ridiculous fix didn't work, and I have to ask call creator to close call for everyone and create a new one everytime I need to rejoin it.
Do the work you're paid for, please.

Can't join group calls

since yesterday, i cant join group calls that my friends had added me. when i press join call it joins for a second and it hangs up, and through this second i dont hear anything. to join the call i need them to call me but the manager of the call is not always available to call me.
i have the latest version of skype, and i have tried everything i could have found on the internet.
PLEASE HELP

Not letting me join group calls?

I cannot seem to join the group call. There is no option to join the call, and this is shared among all devices (ipad, laptop, and android phone). All applications are all up to date and have been redownloaded. The chat log registers that the "call as started" and had yet to have "ended" but there is no "join call option". The option sometimes appears after a long time if at all. The call leader must re-add me to the call for it to appear. There is then the problem of the calls randomly being dropped when the internet is fine. HELP!

One of the theories we had is that there might be someone in the call who is not your friend, so the privacy settings were kicking in and the call was dropping.
Could you check this please? Before the call, please make sure that all participants are in your contact list and have added you as a contact on their side also.

Joining group call can't hear other people

I have looked over my setting multiple times and I can hear everything else on my computer but I join a group call and I can not hear the other people in it and it happens with other people as in like when other people join after a certain point I guess you just cant hear it anymore and we end up having to restart call like 5 times until everyone is finally able to hear again if anyone has any ideas on how to fix please tell

I am having this issue too. When I initially join the call, everything is fine but if I need to drop out for any reason, when I return, I cannot hear their voices. They can hear me, but it takes a total restart of my computer - not just the Skype application - before I can hear anything on their end.

Not able to join group calls on IOS

Whenever I join any group calls it either has no sound for a few seconds before hanging up, or continuously rings. My skype is updated to the latest version and so is my tablet, I've also tried reinstalling skype. Is there any way to fix this?

Skype refuses to join group call

So, I was in a group call earlier today and suddenly the call dropped. When I rejoined my friend said something along the line of "the peasants" or something silly like that and I was immediately kicked. At first I thought they were messing with me, but this persisted every time I tried joining the call. I tried restarting Skype. Same problem. I tried restarting my computer same problem. I tried uninstalling skype twice, same probelm. Every time I'm greated with the same audio clip of "the peasants" and kicked. Occasionally, the dialing tone will play when I'm not calling anyone and will then just stop. I'm on a mac and most of the support threads I've seen on this issue give instructions for windows users and recommend deleting the dbtemp folder, which I cannot find in the skype library on my mac. Has anyone experienced this before?

Version 7.0.0.102 will not let me join group calls...

I am having a probelm with this new "forced" version of skype (Current version 7.0.0.102). As i boot skype up on my desktop i can not join any group calls, but when i am on my phone i can join them. This makes it a huge inconvience on how i play if im doing some MMO being on my phone without my headset on to play the game. Also it makes it quite a problem if i try to stream with it on. So if anyone knows how to fix this bug it would be lovely.

Can't Join Group Call

So with the new update 6.16 I no longer can join to group calls. Always when i click join call it just shows the persons who are in the call and then the call ends. I tried everything i found at forums none of them helped (I tried to download older versions etc.) So Please im getting really angry about this so could some1 please help me?

I have the same problem and I cannot get into a group call of 9 people. Microsoft is really slacking. Cant join calls in progress.

Since i got skype for desktop i have not been able to join group calls in progress at all and sometimes i cant even recieve calls when im not on do not disturb. this is really frustrateing how do i fix this

I'm not aware of anything in CUCM that natively tells you what calls are in progress across the cluster.
If you're up for some programming, you might be able to (ab)use the external call control profile feature to at least record in real-time call setups. (Although this won't tell you when a call ends)
