(THIS WAS ALSO MADE IN FLASH PROFESSIONAL CS4)

You have your actionscript pasted into three different places. You only need the one at the bottom of your timeline in the Actions layer. Remove the others.
You have two sets of frame markers, one set in the Pages layer, which is correct and a second set in the menu layer where each frame is labeled "page". Get rid of those markers.
Extend the frames in the Actions layer to match the rest of the movie. Get rid of the extra keyframes in the background layer.

  • Need help stopping home page from appearing

    Hello:
    I've designed and programed the site www.pawsandclawspets.com
    but I can't figure our how to keep the home page from flashing when
    going from one page to the next. I have all my movies loading onto
    a level above it and don't want to hide the home page entirely as I
    am using the nav at the top on all the pages.
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks!

    The first image on your page is this:
    <img id="logo" src="
    http://test.inspiringmen.com/images/logo.png"
    ... />
    onload=function(){
    var imgs=[
    "/images/logo.png",
    "/images/another.png",
    "/images/yetanother.jpg",
    "/images/onemore.jpg"];
    document.getElementById("logo").src=imgs[(+new
    Date())%imgs.length];
    This assumes that the "images" folder is at the root level of
    your site.
    You may add or remove image paths from the "imgs" array at
    will.

From LAN i can ping to any IP adress in internet (like 8.8.8.8), but i cant ping or access domain names of web pages (like www.google.com). I know there is probably something wrong in my config, but after 2 days of googling i cant find where the problem is. Can anybody help?

    Hi,
    I would be happy to help but I have one question first: Your configuration contains a lot of cruft generated from SDM/CCP and I am not sure if any of that is really required by you. Do you believe you would be fine with having this entire configuration trimmed down and do just what's supposed to do (routing and NAT), and we had security measures added in later? Just by the way, I do not believe you need the zone-based firewall. In your simple setup with just a few inside/outside interfaces, it does not add any real value apart from making the configuration virtually unreadable. We can easily do the same with IP Inspect.
    Best regards,
    Peter

  • Stop pages from flashing

    Hello
    I have added a blue textured background to my RoboHelp pages
    When I view the pages, they flash white and then load the blue background.
    the background image is on 19kb.
    Does anyone know of a way to make it so my pages wont flash?
    Thanks so much inadvance for any advice or help

    Yeah, I can be a brat.
    On a more serious note, I'm not sure of exactly what you are seeing. Are you able to use something like Jing or Screenr to record a video showing us? You can just post a link to the video.

  • Switching pages from flash-gui

    I tried to switch to a page using a flash-button inside an rma which functions as a gui.
    To do so I use an external interface call:
    var jsCaller:Object = ExternalInterface.call("eval","this.pageNum = 1;");
    I use eval frequently to call various methods within my document-script and so far it has never failed me. However, in this case, when I push the button, acrobat crashes.
    It seems to switch to the page (at least the scrollbar indicates that) but before anything from that page is actually shown, acrobat crashes. The version I use is Acrobat 9 Pro Extended (version 9.1.0). I tested this in reader 9.4 and found the same behaviour.

    Yes it does, and it will. The problem is that by switching pages the Flash annotation is disabled, but both Flash and Acrobat expect the externalInterface function to have a return value. As the Flash Player instance is killed halfway through the handshake, it takes Acrobat down with it. Probably should've fixed it, but it's not a major priority, as;
    (1) hardly anyone uses it, and if they do they find out very quickly they can't
    (2) it crashes in a safe-ish way, so there's no exploitability in the bug
    One way around it is to call a doc-level function from AS which itself fires off a short delayed function call to set the pageNum value, so you can return the handshake to Flash *before* the page changes and the link gets severed. If your SWF is running in a pop-up window and set to manually disable, then it'll be fine.

    Once again an extremely simple task made incredibly complicated. So this is a known bug noone cared to fix? Not quite what I would expect considering the retail-prize of Acrobat Pro Extended.At least I know what's going on now.
    So thanx anyway.
    Is there a chance this is at least fixed in Acrobat X?
    BTW: A separate forum on Acrobat Flash would probably be a good idea (just like there is one for 3D-Features). I'm always unsure where to post such problems specifically involving flash in the acrobat context. As the documentation on this subject is very limited imho, there's probably loads of problems to discuss.

  • How to stop my screen from flashing

    How do I get my 2nd gen I Touch screen from flashing?

    Try here:
    iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    If you can't turn the iPod off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for at least an hour try again.
    Last, make an appointment at the Gebnius Bar of an Apple stoe since it appears you have a hardware problem.

  • How to stop my page from scrolling vertically

    I currently have my page configured so that the header, footer, and links on the left hand side are all framed and positioned absolutely. This allows me to just have the content in the center of my page scroll.
    It works wonderfully, however on some pages (such as one where I have a photo gallery), the page will scroll past the gallery, and either appears very long, or the content stops, and you can see the background of the page. It's difficult to explain, so I have included photos to demonstrate. I would simply like to prevent my page from scrolling PAST the content (gallery in this case) and onto the excess space.
    Even if I extend the min-length or max-length value of the page, it only makes the white area even longer so it scrolls even further down the screen. Any suggestions would be apprecaited, and I can include the .css and html if necessary as well.
    Regards,
    -Dave

    I'm sorry Nancy, I'm not exactly sure how to do that.
    You can view my page at http://www.dvionline.com
    but obviously you can't see the .css in there.

  • Launch flash builder from flash cs5 don't work

    hi
    I have a trial version of flash builder (eclipse plug-in) and registered flash cs5 pro
    I'm trying to open a new AS3 class like in this tutorial: http://tv.adobe.com/watch/learn-flash-professional-cs5/using-flash-pro-and-flash-builder-t ogether/
    and it doesn't work.
    at first it did asked if I want to edit the file in flash builder or not, and it didnt work.
    now it won't even ask.
    what can I do?
    and also I cant open a flash proffessional  project in flash builder, it says "This feature requires Adobe Flash CS5 or higher to be installed."
    but it is installed!
    frustrated...

    I gave this a shot, using CS5, and when I started a new AS3 file I got the appropriate prompt asking me which application should edit my file...
    Flash Pro
    Flash Builder
    When I chose Flash Builder, (which I had already running), it opened the new AS3 file there with no problems. Interestingly, when I closed FB, and with Flash Pro created a new AS3 class, I wasn't prompted (and the AS file opened in Flash Pro) - so it does require that FB be running, or else Flash Pro will be the default editor.
    For the issue of Flash no longer prompting you "Who" will open a new file, you can change that here:
    Edit > Preferences > ActionScript > Several items down is the Class editor. Change that to Flash Builder
    If you still have problems...Are you able to successfully launch Flash Builder 4 by itself? Or has the trial expired?
    Last but not least, it's worth mentioning another fantastic AS editor (in case you don't really need FB, and/or your trial runs out):

  • How to stop a page from loading?

    Does anyone know if there's a way to stop a webpage from loading (i.e. before it finishes)..? This page, for example:
    http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/baseball/mlb/gameflash/2011/06/04/36460_recap.h tml
    When I click on the "X" (or type Cmd+period) i want to cease ALL communication with whatever website is in the address bar. I don't want periodic updates, i dont' want animated ads to finish loading, i don't want my screen rearranged.... nothing. I WANT TO TERMINATE ALL CONTACT WITH THAT WEBSITE until such time that i might click on "reload".  And i should be able to do this without having to yank out my ethernet cable.
    This may be a more general problem that applies to Firefox as well.

    Huh, i didn't realize the escape key did something different than Cmd+period. It seems to work but i'll have to try it with some of the peskier websites.... Thanks.

  • Can't Stop Cover Page from Printing

    Every time a user prints a report, they are getting a cover page as listed below. If there is a way, how can we stop this cover page from printing? Thanka ahead of time.

    Hello,
    This seems to be what is called a "Separator page" in Windows printer driver.
    Separator pages are used at the beginning of each document to make it
    easy to find a document among others at the printer
    On Windows, it is a "Printer Driver" setting
    Regards

  • I don't see a way to stop a page from loading. There is no "X" in the tool bar like there used to be, so how do I do it in Firefox Beta?

    When I change my mind about loading a page I don't see anyway to stop it from building or to cancel the action. I tried to research "stop" at http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Menu%20Reference?s=%22url+bar%22&as=s#w_stop regarding the main window reference menu but nothing of what I read there seemed applicable. It appears "Stop" is supposed to be under "View", but I did not find it there. Please help! I want a simple click of the mouse action to prevent a page from loading!

    You see the orange (on Linux gray) Firefox button if the Menu Bar is hidden, so you need to hide the Menu bar via View > Toolbars, also accessible via Firefox > Options.<br />
    If you need to access the hidden Menu bar then press F10 or hold down the Alt key to make the Menu Bar appear temporarily.<br />
    Firefox 4 has two bookmark buttons with a star in the Customize window.<br />
    One star button has a drop marker that open a Bookmark menu.<br />
    The other star button without the drop marker opens the bookmarks in the sidebar.<br />
    <br />
    You can drag the Bookmarks menu button with the drop marker in the Customize window from the toolbar palette on a toolbar (e.g. Navigation Toolbar or Tab Bar or to the left side of the Bookmarks Menu Items).<br />
    You only see the Bookmarks menu button if the menu bar is hidden.<br />
    If the bookmarks toolbar is visible then the default bookmarks menu button will appear on the right hand side of the Bookmarks Toolbar as part of the Bookmarks Toolbar Items.<br />

  • Trying to call MM_showHideLayers on container HTML page from Flash

    I'm designing a site that is mostly in Flash, but I would
    like to show some content by changing the visibility of a layer on
    the HTML page that contains the swf file. I have tried
    on (press)
    {ExternalInterface.call("MM_showHideLayers",'testerbox','show');
    and
    on (press)
    {ExternalInterface.call("MM_showHideLayers('testerbox','','show')");
    and I have tried
    on (press)
    {getURL("javascript:MM_showHideLayers('testerbox','','show')");
    My HTML page code is below. Can anyone tell me what I am
    doing wrong and point me in the right direction? Can this be done?
    Is there a better way to display large amounts of highly formatted,
    dynamic content from within Flash without loading a new page or
    resorting to a pop-up window? I really want it to look and feel
    like it is all part of the same page, and I need more tags than I
    can use in a Flash textbox. Thanks in advance :-)
