CAP file generating ERROR

Hi everybody ,
I'm trying to build a javacard project by using ANT tool . The problem is when i use the JCOP tool converter (tric.jar) with JRE 1.4 or 1.5 i got the following error :
Error: class java.lang.RuntimeException, resolving constant-pool of clazz Lhun/eid/javacard/EIDApplet; failed: no such method getClass, ()Ljava/lang/Class; in Ljava/lang/Object;
and JCOP tool converter with JRE 1.6 , igot another error : invalid magic cafebabe
After that , i replaced the JCOP tool's converter by using the java_card_kit-2_2_2's converter , and i got another error :

Can someone tell me how to fix this ? Any help will be appreciated !

    How to solve this problem?
    Thank you in advance.

    I'm not understanding if your cap file is in "b\bin\FVSCardPkg\javacard\", then why are you loading "D:/MyCardPkg.cap"?
    The issue isn't with your off card application, but the cap file version. Look at the cap file components in JCVM specification. I believe it's the Header component. The major, minor should match your card but not greater. In other words, your can't load a 2.2 on a 2.1 card, but a 2.1 can load on a 2.2

  • EPMA File Generator error

    Hi,
    I generally use the EPMA File Generator excel template to create my metadata for bulk loading into EPMA Shared Library. For some reason I have started to get errors whenever I open the excel file on my machine. I keep getting the error "Could not load an object because it is not available on this machine."
    It seems that the Macro's embedded in the file that assist in the metadata creation require some files/objects that are not available. This is the case with all other machines I've checked in my organization. I have a feeling it might be the result of a updates/patches to Office.
    Edit: Even if I don't use the macros and just update the metadata on the existing sheets (dimensions I had already created in the file) I am unable to save the changes as well. I just get the error that the file is corrupted and excel will try to recover. Once I click on OK it just says that the damage to the file was so extensive that recovery is not an option.
    Does anyone know what is causing the problem and how to fix it. If a .dll or .ocx can be downloaded and replaced somewhere just to get this file working.
    Thanks,
    Shehzad

  • Verify user pin on a smart card & load a cap file on a card (with eclipse)

    I have been able install JCWDE (Java card development Kit) successfully on eclipse.Basically all I need to do is verify user pin on a smart card.As in first set a pin and then verify it.
    To begin with I have referred many tutorials (here: http://www.javaworld.com/jw-07-1999/jw-07-javacard.html?page=1) and implemented the wallet code in eclipse.I have the cap file generated and the scripts generated.I am not sure how to load it on the smart card with eclipse.
    I tried to deploy the cap file but it keeps saying connected.Also when we initiate the applet I get the same result.
    output:
    Java Card 2.2.2 APDU Tool, Version 1.3
    Copyright 2005 Sun Microsystems, Inc. All rights reserved. Use is subject to license terms.
    Opening connection to localhost on port 9032.
    Connected.
    I have also tried : http://www.cs.ru.nl/E.Poll/hw/practical.html ........ but no luck.
    I have the wallet.cap ,wallet.exp ,wallet.jca ,wallet.opt create.script, select,cap-download.scripts files already generated in eclipse.
    How does a successfully implemented applet code on a smart card work?How does this wallet code work if it is successfully implemented ? Does it have like some GUI which prompts the user to enter the pin?

    Hi,
    Thanks a lot for reply.But I am not sure as to how can I delete the simulator.
    All I want to do is write a pin on the smart card and verify it.But I am not being able to deploy the cap file or initiate the applet.
    Also for passing the pin correct me if I am wrong........ according to what you said and what I have understood
    If the code is like this :
    public static void install(byte[] bArray, short bOffset, byte bLength) {
    // create a Wallet applet instance
    new Wallet(bArray, bOffset, bLength);
    } // end of install method
    byte aLen = bArray[bOffset]; // applet data length
    // The installation parameters contain the PIN
    // initialization value
    pin.update(bArray, (short)(bOffset+1), aLen);
    Lets say my pin is : 1234
    then I would pass it here.....
    new Wallet(bArray, 1234, bLength);

  • Cannot load cap file to G&D sm@rtCafe Expoert 2.0 Java card

    Hi all,
    I am new to JavaCard. I tried to load a HelloWorld cap file to G&D sm@rtCafe Expoert 2.0 Java card by using G&D Customizer 4.0. It can connect and open secure channel successfully. But when I tried to load the cap file into that card. It always provided this error:
    Error: PC/SC SCardTransmit returned error code 0x45D: unknown error code
    The cap file is the one in GPShell1.4.2. I tried other cap files, same error was provided. Anyone can give me some hints to solve this problem? Thank you very much!
    Edited by: fanfan on Nov 20, 2008 5:36 PM

    I think it may be the problem of JCDK version because G&D sm@rtCafe Expoert 2.0 Java card support JCDK2.1.1. So I compile and gen a new cap file of the HelloWord example in JCDK2.1.1 and tried to load this new cap to the javacard.
    But same error provided.
    Then I gen cap file of AppNull example in JCDK2.1.1 and load it to javacard. This time a get another error :
    Error: LOAD (1. of 1) response check failed with SW 6A 80
    any comments here?

    It seems there is a variable of type "long" in your applet. The "long" type is not supported by Java Card, so you should remove all variables with type "long".
    Otherwise, without the source code, it is difficult to help you find out what's wrong.

  • Error converting to cap file

    Hello everyone,
    I tried to follow sample of java card kit, but I've got this error when I 'd like to convert class file to cap file with converter.
    Assertion (precondition) [member != null] failed at:
    What's wrong ????
    It's out only jca and exp file but not cap file.
    Could you please tell me how to generate cap file?
    Thank you very much,

    I' m sorry.
    I found this in another topic that I have to compile with jdk1.3.x.
    Thanx,

  • Error in convertionof .class to CAP file

    we are using java_card_kit-2_2_1 with j2sdk-1.4.2_12 for developing Applet for Smart card.We are new to the javacard enviornment.We are testng with the avvailable samples in java card kit.
    The steps we are following is given below:
    1.Convertion of java file to class file.
    Class file generated in the path- c:\java_card_kit-2_2_1\samples\src\com\sun\javacard\samples\Helloworld
    2. convertion of class file to Cap file:
    we are using one batch file -run.bat
    run.bat:
    set CLASSES=%JCHOME%\lib\apduio.jar;...;%JC_HOME%\lib\api.jar;%JC_HOME%\lib\capdump.jar;
    xcopy /s %JC_HOME%\api_export_files\*.* exp
    java -classpath %_CLASSES% samples.src.com.sun.javacard.samples
    converter -config HelloWorld.opt
    3.We are running the run.bat file when exp folder is created having the .exp files init.
    4.Then we are using the converter as:
    converter -config ...HelloWorld.opt.
    the .opt file contains..
    -out EXP JCA CAP
    -exportpath C:\java_card_kit-2_2_1\api_export_files
    -applet 0xa0:0x0:0x0:0x0:0x62:0x3:0x1:0xc:0x1:0x1

    com.sun.javacard.samples.HelloWorld
    0xa0:0x0:0x0:0x0:0x62:0x3:0x1:0xc:0x1 1.0
    Then the error is generated as:
    error:export file framework.exp of package javacard.framework not found.
    the above run.bat file the line below needs explanation..
    java -classpath %_CLASSES% samples.src.com.sun.javacard.samples
    converter -config HelloWorld.opt

    converting .class files to a loadable format for the smart card creates .cap file and .exp files. the .exp files specify information about any (shared) libraries.
    i dunno how exactly to do it with the java card kit from sun. look into the jcop converter tric.jar .

  • Error while creating cap file

  • Screenshot Error in Mac OS X 10.8, Short key working but no file generated

    Today I'm going to use the mac screenshot (screen capture from COMMAND+CONTROL+SHIFT+4) to capture the window while the problem comes. The short key is working and the icon of pointer has changed accordingly, but once I clicked there is no file generated in the destination folder. I would like to know what's wrong with my screenshot? Is there anyone who encountered the similar errors before?
    I'm using Mac OS X 10.8.5 and I believe the screenshot is still avalaible after the update from the 10.7.x. I guess the problem is more about the screenshot applet rather than the system. Besides, I'm eager to know that is there any method to solve this problem.
    Thank you.

    I am running a Retina Macbook Pro with Mavericks 10.9.3 installed.  I was having this problem today, but I did a few things that got rid of the issue...
    1)  Go to System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts > Screen Shots, and click each of these 4 boxes...
    Then close the window.
    2) Open the application "Terminal."
    Type in killall Finder > Push enter
    Type in killall Dock > Push enter
    Close the program
    3) Turn off the computer.  Now turn it on, but hold down "CMD + OPTION + P + R" on the keyboard as it boots up.  This will restart your computer.  Let the keys go after the restart, and let it boot all the way.  Pressing these keys clears your PRAM and NVRAM settings--it doesn't harm your computer at all, but it is supposed to help give your battery a boost.  Apparently, it also resolved my screen shot issues.
    I blame my screen shot issues on a program I tried installing today--it must have messed with the OS somehow.  Hope all of this helps!

    Problems converting PDF to MS Word document.  I successfully converted 4 files and now subsequent files generate a "conversion failure" error when attempting to convert the file.  I have a large manuscript and I separated each chapter to assist with the conversion; like I said, first 4 parts no problem, then conversion failure.  I attempted to convert the entire document and same result.  I specifically purchased the export to Word feature.  Please assist.  I initially had to export the Word Perfect document into PDF and attempting to go from PDF to MS Word.

    Hi sdr2014,
    I'm sorry to hear your conversion process has stalled. It sounds as though the problem isn't specific to one file, as you've been unable to convert anything since the first four chapters converted successfully.
    So, let's try this:
    If you're converting via the ExportPDF website, please log out, clear the browser cache, and then log back in. If you're using Reader, please choose Help > Check for Updates to make sure that you have the most current version installed.
    Please let us know how it goes.
    Best,
    Sara

    This error occurs just after bootup, no programs started except windows..

    Can anyone help me with this problem? Happened after install Labview 7.0
    express. Installed twice and same problem occured with both installs.
    Labview 7.0 is the only thing installed right now. Also selected "Visual
    Basic Support" install from driver cd's.
    One other thing I just noticed. System info reports 2 processors and I
    think I only have one.
    TIA

    Happy update.
    After ignoring this problem for awhile and installing some NI DAQ boards,
    this problem is not happening anymore.
    Would urge NI to investigate further though. Messed me up for a couple of
    days, and still don't know why it happened.
    Much thanks to those who helped.
