we need to know what is the effect on planned production orders (generated by MPS, transaction MD40) of the flag <b>“long-term planning”</b> in planning details of work center capacity (table name: RC68K; field name: KAPLPL). We made a test analyzing planned orders scheduling details in <i>Stock requirements list</i> (MD04) and in the <i>Planning table</i> (CM21) in both cases: with "long-term planning" flag set and without this flag for the same work center.
The schedule of planned production order on that work center is the same in the two instance.
Could you suggest us something?

When synching iPhone4s capacity lists "other" as 28.9GB. What's with that? There's not much on my phone.
To fix this you need to restore your phone: first try restoring from backup. Follow this by syncing your iTunes content back to your phone. That should fix things. If not, you will have to restore as a new device,

"Other" in capacity list?
So I'm syncing my new iPhone tonight, loading up some movies and whatnot, and I notice in the capacity list (where it tells you how much storage you're devoting to music, video, photos, apps, etc.) that my "Other" category is taking up more than 4 gigs on my 16 gig phone.
What's stored under this category? Surely the OS isn't taking up 4 gigs of space. Is there any way to reclaim of any that enormous block of memory for my own use?If you have gotten all your files from the App Store, and all your music and videos through iTunes, how can you find out what is corrupted? I've done the restore, set up as new iphone, and even had them give me a completely new phone at an Apple Store...(BTW, they seemed to be genuinely suprised at the Apple Store when I presented them with the problem, even having a pow-wow with about 5 people...)
I'm still having the problem of randomly growing "other"...I've deleted my history, deleted the cache, deleted the third thing (my phone is in restore right now, and I can't remember what that is)... I only have three past days of calendar events which sync, and while I do have quite a few appointments, I haven't added anymore since the last time I sync'd...
There has to be a bug in the iOS 4, and since my friends who have 3GS phones or an iPhone 4 aren't having this problem, the conspiracy theorist in me is saying that they put it in intentionally to force people to get rid of their 3G phones... I'm normally not paranoid like that, but that is my only conclusion that I can draw...

I want to limit POV "Entity" member selection based on access right and I don't want to set User POV one by one.
For ex:
US users don't need to see Canada users' entity.
I am looking for a solution or workaround that can be easy to manage and save time.
Highly appreciate and ThanksYou can actually set the default values in jconsole. jconsole can be started with FRConfig.cmd (normally under C:\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\products\biplus\bin).
Change the value of "com.hyperion.reporting.HRPrefs.filter_by_security" to true, this way, the the default values will be true for all users who haven't set it in user preference yet.
This will list only the members which the users has access.
I believe this is what you are looking for.

How to copy billing plan details of main item to all its sub-items...
In the sales order, we have main item and sub-items. The main item is a project item and it has a billing plan which gets copied from the project. Now the requirement is to copy the same billing plan(of the mainitem) to all its subitems- billing dates, billing type, billing rule, date category, percentage of the amount to be billed, etc. So that when we do billing for this sales order all the items and its sub items are copied in the milestone billing document.
The billing plan is not at header level since the sales order can have multiple project items and their milestones can differ.
Please suggest how to acheive this- coping of billing plan details from main item to all the subitems.

sucmsssYou can use the enhancement section in include mv45af0f_fplan_aktualisieren_c. In the below code, I am copying milestone lines from previous document, but you could adapt to copy from the higher level item. Copy and pretty print it in ABAP editor.

I have few questions on Personnel Cost Planning Detail (tx. PHCPDETL) :
1. User authorizations can be restricted to Cost Item Level and/or Cost Center.?
2. Is it advisable to use structural authorizations on Planners- Line Manager levels? Can budget personnel cost plan be posted incompleted?
3. Can a cost item created for an Org Unit be populated through all Persons-Positions in your Plan?
4. Can you have general guideliness check for each event that line managers apply to their personnel cost plan?5. Is there an automatic way to display (not using Insert Quota Feature not IT1019) the Vacants in your Organizational domain?
6. Can I have by roles definition, Cost Items to be used by an specific planner through all plans?

The check for SSO exists inside the std function module HR_HCP_DETAIL_START via the following Method Call
CALL METHOD viewer->enable_sapsso EXPORTING enabled = 'X' EXCEPTIONS OTHERS = 99.
You may have to copy the TCode & the subesequent function calls to eliminate this check.. I would suggest getting your BASIS to set up the SSO as a better option.

Default the master / detail select lists
When I load a form that has pre-existing data I need to be
able to default the master / detail select lists to the correct

JFileChooser ("details" and "list")
I need help with figuring out why the "details" and "list" toggle buttons are disabled, i.e. do nothing when clicked, in the JFileChooser dialog. It is also the case that the "details" button is defaulted as chosen. I cannot find anywhere in the code that these two buttons are specifically disabled or enabled. Is there a related type function that needs to be implemented? BTW, this is in JDK1.4. Any help is appreciated.
Look in javax.swing.plaf.metal.MetalFileChooserUI, line 201 (jdk1.3)
there you can see, that these buttons get created, but disabled. There is no action prepared for these buttons.
What we do with the jdk1.3-Filechooser-UI is to remove these buttons after creation:

Our supply planning users would like to obtain the demand and supply plan for a bunch of given parts by running a query against some tables. The data they need via a PS Query output in Excel format is the same data that is provided by the Material Plan Detail page in PeopleSoft Supply Planning (Menu Path: Supply Planning >>>Solve Plan>>>> Material >>>>>>Material Plan Detail). The main underlying table behind this page is PS_PL_MRP_DTL.
The problem is that this table contains data for only one Part Number (INV_ITEM_ID). The data is populated when Item ID is selected on the Material Plan Detail Search page.
What are the underlying table names which the Material Plan Detail Search page brings together to present the information for the selected part number on the target page (The Material Plan Detail page)?
If you could tell us the underlying table names (which the Material Plan Detail Search page brings together) we can write a query to present the data to the users for multiple part numbers at a time and not just one part number at a time.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We have a requirement to show the Planning Detail Report (GMPPDR) output in Excel format.
And it need to include all the four templates (Horizontal, Vertical, Exception & Action).
Can someone give me some insight on how this can be achieved ?

We have applied the patch and the output is coming in excel.
But it didnt serve the purpose.
the issue is if there are 10 buckets (10 days)..then the report output is shown in two different blocks for the horizontal plan ...
1,2,3,4,5
6,7,8,9,10
But the user needs all the 10 days in the same table format.
Not sure if there is a way to upload some examples to explain it bettter.

Planning detail report in ASCP
Hi Experts,
I want to confirm planning output. so best way to view all data in concentrated manner is - use planning detail report. I have used the same in case of MRP in my last project. Now this report is available in ASCP, but not able to use it. After investigation, come to know that there is no data in MRP% tables on ASCP instance as everything is stored in MSC%. So can we use 'Push plan information' prog to move MSC% data to MRP% on same instance. .. ? Is not then is there any way to see 'planning detail report' ?
