CATS_DA and CADO different column fields
Hy friends,
i have problem with CATS_DA when i log on in different language in system. I create z field in CATSDB - zccode. When i create report in English version everything is fine - field zccode show results. When i logon in Bulgarian language in system field zccode is not there. Other think when open report CADO - old of CATS_DA the filed zccode show in every language.
And now is the question where field zccode is language dependent ?

Table maintenance generator is an auto generated module pool program.
Whenever you change anything in your table delete the maintenance generator it will ask for TR give TR and regenerate it (again give TR ) now transport it to QA it will work fine.
One common mistake done by developer is they do not give or give some local TR (which do not get transported) while deleting the maintenanc generatior and it cause the problem you are facing.

Different Column Fields - Inbox & Sent
Hello,
I've recently converted from Windows to Mac. I successfully setup my Exchange account in Mail 5.0. I use several devices to send mail from so not all are coming from one mac.
Under the Mailboxes header in the side bar, I have my generic "Inbox" & "Sent" folders which are displaying fine. The Inbox has the "From" column and "Sent" has the "To" column. This Sent folder only shows emails sent from this specific machine. Again, I use 3 different macs.
When I go down to the "Sent" folder that shows all emails sent from my Exchange account, it has the "From" column. Obviously everything came from me so it's useless. When I click to add the "To" column it adds it here but it also adds it to the generic "Inbox" folder.
Hopefully this isn't difficult to understand and I explained it clearly. Basically I want to customize the columns for the indivdual folders and not have the options I set for one folder go across all folders.
Thanks.Column view settings are stored globally for all mailboxes. You cannot change them for one mailbox without also affecting the rest, except Mail allows you to have slightly different From/To and Date Sent/Date Received settings for Sent.

Hello. When I right click a cube in the solution explorer and click browse, I am presented with a Details field area which doesn't have "Drop Row Fields" area like in BIDS 2008, and doesn't have "Drop Column Fields" area like in BIDS. It just has one details
area with the message "Drag levels or measures here to add to the query".
How do I include the "Drop Row Fields" area and the "Drop Column Fields" area in this Details area so it can be like 2008?I am using MDX query to build SSRS report.

Changing the Column Header and Hiding the Column dynamically???
Hi friends..
I'm new to OBIEE field. I'm working in a OBIEE project that requires to dynamically change the column header, and dynamically hide the column depending on the prompt value.
I know we can dynamically change the table header using the presentation variable but I couldn't do that same thing with column header.
I searched some forums that suggest to use java script for this purpose but I'm not able to do the same also. If anyone had same issue before please help.toony, I'm not sure it's possible to do all that you want exactly the way you want, but here are some ideas you can pursue.

As far as dynamically hiding a column, I don't think you can do this, but since you don't provide any details on how the PV is supposed to hide a column based on the value, are you talking about hiding a column for one PV value and another (different) column for a different PV value? Or are you talking about hiding one column when a PV has certain values and displaying it when the PV has a different set of values?
I have managed to create both scenarios via a work-around, but the procedures require some writing so I don't want to put both. Please detail how you want your PV to "hide" a column or columns.
P.S. I don't think column selectors will do the trick for you. Basically column selectors work like this: Say you have a report using Sales Region ID, Region Name, and Sales. Now let's say you want the user to choose if he/she wants to see annual sales, or quarter sales or weekly sales, etc. The column selector view would allow you to put the various columns (Year Sales, Quarter Sales, Weekly Sales) as an option the user can select. Once selected, the sales figure will change for the time period selected. For an example of how this is done, check out the section in this "Oracle by Example" link.

Write arrays into a text file in different columns at different times

I have a problem write data into a text file. I want to write 4 1D arrays into a text file. The problem is that I need to write it at different time and in different column (in other word, not only append the arrays).
Do you have an idea to solve my problem?
Thank youA file is long a linear string of data (text). In order ro insert columns, you need to rewrite the entire file, because colums are interlaced over the entire lenght of the file.
So:
read file into 2D array
insert columns using array operations
write resulting 2D array to file again.
(Only if your colums are guaranteed to be fixed width AND you know the final number of colums, you could write the missing columns as spaces and then overwrite later. Still, it will be painful and inefficient, because column data are not adjacent in the file.)

I am new to ABAP Development. I need to upload a .DAT file (the file doesn#t have any proper structure-- Please find the .DAT file in the attachment). After uploading the DATA (.DAT) fiel I need to split in into different columns. Refering the attached .DAT fiel the fields in bracets like:
[Arbeitstag], [Pecunia], [Mita], [Kunde], [Auftrag] and [Position] are different fields that need to be arranged in columns in an internal table. this .DAT fiel which I want to upload and then SPLIT it into various fields will will treated as MASTER DATA table for further programming. Parse string into different column and optimization
We are in process of building an audit process for any changes that occur automatically or manually by the user on some of the table data. To do this we have two options:
1. Have master table to store the audit event summary and a detail table to store each column change with old and new values. Something like:

);but this approach has some processing overhead since for the changes to each record there will be multiple records based on number of columns updated. If we are loading 40K transaction twice a month, and the changes are almost 30-40% so the detail table will grow considerably.
2. To have the detail table with one column that will have a concatenated string of changes with field name, old and new values.

Here is what I want:
I am creating a report which has a xml data source.
I have a field named fieldvalue in the xml, I need to present this fieldvalue in a column format based on the name of the column heading which is another field in the database called fielddata
here is what i want

fieldvalue1 fieldvalue2 fieldvalue3......
i have dragged the fieldvalue 3 times in the report and applied different formula for each one of them
here is the eg. of the formula

but it is not giving me the correct values pulled from the data source. for the first column it is pulling correctly but for the rest of the columns it is giving values as 0's.

Can't you set the group to be on the category? Selecting the product name in the record selection formula will present only those product (as opposed to categories).
A subreport, as suggested, will work as well, but your stated record selection will continue to produce the same results - check that, too. Additionally, you could group on the category and add a group 'b' section (Section Expert; see the Help file). -

We are trying to do a Quick payment from payment workbench and getting 'FRM-41830: List of values contains no entries' error for payment document column/field. Payment document setup looks good. Not sure what the issue is.

MS Project 2010 cut and paste 255 characters in notes column field into MS Excel
I need to copy and paste notes fields in MS Project 2010 which have more than 255 characters into MS Excel and I want all the text to paste into MS Excel (ie >255 characters). I need to be able to do this for at least a text column and the notes column
as I can do a lookup from there. So to recap I need to copy and paste the contents of 2 columns including the notes column into Excel and paste all the text >255 characters. I know how to do this cell by cell however this is not feasible for a large
plan on a weekly basis. It sounds so simple if you know how!John,
I agree that note field will accept more than 255 characters. May be in my comment i have written "Both" that is confusing. Limit is only for text column.

Different columns and arrangements in different Folders
I arrange my mail into various folders. For various reasons, I need to have different columns visible and different arrangements of columns in different folders (Kind of like needing From: in InBox and To: in sent items.)
I can't figure out how to set this, by folder and have it 1) stick and 2) not impact other folders.
Help!
