'cc' is not available
Hi,
Am a newbie for this Oracle E-business suite, and i have been searching lot of links for installing and found this thread which has been very very informative and thanks a lot for the post.
I have downloaded the oracle 11i suite from e-delivery and i have done all the pre-requisites, but i get the following warning(since it is a warning can i omit this and continue with my installation) while installing the suite,
'cc' is not available.
ERRORCODE = 1 ERRORCODE_END
RW-50011: Error: - System Utilities Availability test has returned an error: 1
I have searched the directory C:\Cygwin\bin for that CC file and couldn't find one,
I would be very thankful if u would help me in this case.

Can you find gcc.exe under this directory? If yes, issue "copy gcc.exe cc.exe" and try again.
If gcc.exe is not available, download it using Cygwin Software (Under Devel packages).
Also, make sure that C:\Cygwin\bin is in the System PATH.

I couldn't find even gcc.exe, i have downloaded this gcc several times (http://cygwin.basemirror.de/release/gcc/) but couldn't resolve the issue.

Are you asking about the RAM, if so I have a 1GB RAMWith 1 GB RAM, expect the login page to take time before it prompts you to enter the username/password.
Some of the Startup Types are set as Manual should I change that also to Automatic except that Concurrent Manager??Do not change any service startup type from Manual to Automatic.
And also I have a doubt in my installation, the drive in which I have installed has 185GB, now even after installing I have a free space of 181GB is anything going wrong over there???This indicates that the installation did not run successfully as it takes 73 GB space for a fresh install with a production database, and 161 GB for a fresh install with a Vision Demo database.
Please check the installation log file, there should be more details about the error. Log files can be found under:
$ORACLE_HOME/appsutil/log/$CONTEXT_NAME

Have a very recent Lenovo Ideapad Laptop running Windows 8.1. Connected via USB port to HP LaserJet Pro CM1415 frw Color MFP Printer. Was able to print fine nearly 2 weeks ago, but something recently happened - either a new windows or office 2013 update
or perhaps I blew away a certain file by mistake. I can see the printer installed but cannot print to it from anything (Word, Notepad, IE, Firefox etc.). The one thing to note is that usually when I plug or unplug a USB related device, Windows 8.1 recognizes
this and makes a certain chime noise, but with the printer USB cable it never makes that noise - making me think that it never fully recognizes the printer. Also when I select the printer (from within the control panel) and right click for properties (via
admin rights) It never lets me fully connect to it.
I have tried all the usual remedies - remove, install all drivers, reinstall printer, Windows update, start/stop print spooler and all other printer related services, etc. Its really annoying because this printer was working fine nearly 2
weeks ago. Looking for any advice now. Thanks.

I noticed that you had reinstalled the printer. Just a confirmation, when un-install this printer, please check
if this printer still exist in registry. For more details, please refer to following KB.
Registry entries for printing
If printer entry still exist in registry, please delete that printer entry and re-install this printer again,
then check if this issue still exists. (Please backup registry entries before operating registry. It will help us to avoid unexpected issue.)

I'm not completely tech savvy, but I'm having troubles with my external memory & time machine. I'm a student, and thus its very important to me to be able to back up my computer.
I wanted to back up my Time Machine the other day. I clicked the icon at the top of the page (beside the battery icon, etc.) and the message "The backup disk is not available". My macbook pro is version 10.7.5 Mac OS X Lion. My external memory is only about a year old. It hasn't been dropped or anything; it permanently sits secured to my desk.

I don't want to wipe my memory on my external disk just in case the disk doesn't restore (as I do not have another disk to back up my computer on to).

If you don't need anything off the old drive, then yes, replace it immediately with something a little more reolaable. I use WD Caviar Black personally. But anything that has a known low failure rate. -
In Pages 5.2, some fonts "not available", yet present in Font Book and working in other apps
Using Pages 5.2, I open a document created in a previous version, and I get error messages about certain fonts within a font family being "not available" in OS X. However, these supposedly unavailable fonts are present in Font Book and work just fine in all other apps running on OS X. In fact, I still have the older version of Pages on my system, and it still finds the fonts without issue. The specific fonts troubling me at the moment are Myriad Pro Semibold It and Myriad Pro Cond. Pages 5.2 replaces them with Helvetica. I have wasted hours of time trying to resolve this problem, and I am at a total loss. What can I do?
Like so many other thing is is probably gone. Why not use Pages 09 that has about 100 features more than Pages 5. If you haven't deleted it it should still be in Applications/iWork 09 folder.

My rue la la app for ipad stopped working. I deleted the app and tried to reinstall it, it is no longer available in the app store and when I research it on safari and find it when i try to install it says that it is not available in the us store. What is that all about?
My app did the exact same thing. It is still unavailable on the App Store and when Rue La La's site directs you to download their app, the "not available in the U.S. message appears. This happened to me last night. The app wasn't working, I deleted it and was just going to reinstall but was unable to find the app. I figured it was some glitch but I have tried multiple times this afternoon to no avail.

I was trying to save basic search template master page "seattle.master" after making change to the template.
I have added just "CompanyName" folder and update the line below in seattle.master.
Change is this : <SharePoint:CssRegistration Name="Themable/CompanyName/corev15.css" runat="server"/>
When I save it, and refresh page on browser, it shows "Something went wrong" error.
ULS says the following error : "UserAgent not Available, file operation may not be optimized"

Data Federator data source not available causes Universe Connection error
I created a Data Federator project that connects to 20 servers across US and Canada. All data sources are SQL Server 2005. The DF project maps 40 source objects into 4 target objects. I created a universe based on the DF project and we have been quite pleased with Webi query response. Today one of the source servers was taken off line and this generated a connection error when trying to access the universe (not trying to access the data source that failed). We do not want the universe connection to error when one source server is not available u2013 is that possible?
If the answer is no then I see us abandoning what appears to be a great solution for real time distributed reporting and resorting to ETL and moving data.Hi Chapman,

There is no such warning on the Irish Apple site.!
My point was that, I would not have even considered trying to reorganize my itunes library had I known that the feature is not available in Ireland.
And that falls into the domain of Apple Ireland advertising.. which I"m sorry to say is false and misleading.
There are no "posters" telling the Irish customer that icloud / itunes music is not available!
I"m not blaming Apple for not "having the feature" in Ireland.. I am upset at them for falsing advertising a feature that they cannot for whatever reason deliver to Irish customers..

We are currently implementing a Service Desk Application based on SAP Solution Manager. Therefore we are using the article "Implement an ITIL Employee Service Desk with IC WebClient" of "www.CRMExpertOnline".
One of the steps, which are described in the article describes how to Categorize incidents with the Category Modeler. It says that the Category Modeler is available trough BSP Application CRMM_ERM_CAT.
Unfortunately this SAP-Application is not available on our system.

The question is that CRMM_ERM_CAT is an application, also a transaction but this is not the name of the associated BSP I think, this belongs to component CRM-PCF more than Solution Manager.

IDOC not available in intergeration Configuration

I have buld a screnaio from IDOC->XI->DB2
In intergeration configuration when i create receiver determination the IDOC is not available in the list of the softwatr compoent where as it is in Intergeration repository.
Can you tell me wht can be done in this case to get the IDOC.

In Receiver Determination or Interface determination you need to specify the sender Service.
Is it Business Service or Business System.
When you will open the right side icon to fill-up the IDOC name in the Interface parameter then you will get check box stating that Software componenet specific or All. Select All and see if you are getting the IDOC name.
If you are using the Business Service then, double click on Business Service Name under Service Without Party.
It will open the Business Service check in Sender tab if the IDOC name as interface is added or not. Its missing out so you can't see the IDOC name while creating Integration scenario objects.
Similarly you can test for Business system also, but for it you can't add IDOC name entry in Sender tab. You need to approach above process.

The Default Gateway Is Not Available / Problem
Hello, I recently purchased this HP Pavileon laptop, and I've been encountering this problem very often (every 2-10 minutes). This problem is getting extremely frustrating as absolutely nobody has been able to provide a fix for this issue.
When the laptop is on battery mode (this does not happen when plugged in); I commonly get disconnected from my wi-fi connection and to fix it, I must run the troubleshooter. This temporarily fixes the issue by resetting the wi-fi adapter.
What I have tried and has not worked:
* Turn off to save power option in the driver settings (in Device Manager) untickets
* Updated drivers
* New power plan
* Tried different drivers
* Complete system restore

I was runnning into a similar problem with my HP product loan Envy Spectre 13 TouchSmart Ultrabook until I did the updates. I had upgraded my wireless router to a model with 802.11AC specification.
Invoke the Device Manager and ensure that the box next to Allow this computer to turn off this device to save power is unchecked.

Error message "iTunes Helper Resources not available" and saving to wrong Drive
I am trying to upgrade iTunes to 10.7 on my PC but I keep getting the error message "iTunes Helper Resources not available". Diagnostics take me a support page which talks about not being able to see the device in iTunes - but I can see the device without problems.
I thought I would try reinstalling iTunes from the webpage and it downloaded to my PC fine but when I went to setup, it showed me it is saving to a DVD drive - not my Hard drive. It also won't let me change the location for the file. I have no idea how that's happened as I obviously don't use the DVD drive as a USB (although the PC see's it as one) and I've never chosen it as the location for iTunes in the 7-8 years that I've been using it.
I then thought I'd try uninstalling it and reinstalling it (to the correct drive) but again, it comes up that the DVD drive is invalid and won't uninstall iTunes.
So I'm stuck and haven't been able to find anything helpful on the support pages or in iTunes Help.
