CCM - more schemas is master catalog

Hello CCM Gurus,
We're using CCM 2.0 version. We would like to make 2 schemas in our master catalog. When I tried, I succeed making it in a supplier catalog with uploading the structure in XML, but I couldn't manage it in case of master and purchasing catalog.
If you have any solution that help me, please send it to me!
Thanks and regards
Almos

Hello,
As I am aware this is not possible. There was talk that this will be available in CCM3.0 which is canceled in favour of MDM/CCM.

  • Empty schema in master catalog

    Hi,
I just did the basic setup CCM 2.0 on WAS 7.0
Now I see the master catalog has no standard schema yet.
I read this willl be generated the first time it gets edited, but it is not.
Is this right, and do I have to build this schema on my own, or is there a initial upload available anywhere?
    Regards, Toine.

    HI,
As already identified by Masa you must create the schema yourself either directly in the catalog (not recommended) or use either XML or CSV uploads. Please see the help documentation for details on schema file creation:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_ccm20/helpdata/en/index.htm
Also - I have attached a simple test csv file for you to load to your catalog to get you started.

  • Error while uploading schema for Master Catalog

    Guys,
    I got the below error while uploading Schema with custom char for Master catalog;
"Error in row 11 of the CSV file" where as the 11th row is "DataType;INTEGER;integer;Integer Type"
in the csv file. Please suggest.
    Regards
    TGB

    Hi,
Check txn-SLG1 in SRM system. There if you go to details, you will see exact description of error.
There are some dos and donts for csv files. for e.g you can't put  : ,  /    etc.symbols in the csv file.

  • How to upload Master Catalog Schema in Catalog Content Management SRM

    Hi All,
Please provide the solution as we are in real trouble.
We have to delete master catalog and upload it again. Deletion is done because the mapping and all are being corrupted. SAP has suggested to delete the catalog and again upload it and do all the mapping again related to supplier and procurement catalog.
Can all of you guide us what to do:
    1. How to delete a existing Master catalog (can de-publish will do it?)?
    2. We have the master catalog schema with us. Please tell how to upload this schema. Which link we have to follow?
    3. After uploading the master schema how we can check that master catalog is working fine.
The answers will be rewarded with valuable points
    Regards
    Praveen K Ghosh

    Sridhar,
I am contacting you regarding the same problem with the CCM MASTER CATALOG, as Praveen said, SAP has suggested to delete the catalog and again upload it and do all the mapping again related to supplier and procurement catalog.
I have read the documents that you refer to at http://help.sap.com/saphelp_srm50/helpdata/en/7f/9b62405c910272e10000000a155106/frameset.htm.
In this link I found information really useful, however according to the document the CCM MASTER CATALOG should be created automatically by the SAP Catalog Authoring Tool, this happends the first time that you are using the system.
    Catalog Creation
You use this function to create catalogs in SAP Catalog Authoring Tool.
You can create the following types of catalogs:
    Supplier catalogs
    Procurement catalogs
    Model service catalogs
    Note
SAP Catalog Authoring Tool creates the master catalog, the SRM product catalog, SRM contract catalogs, and the contract catalog for service specifications automatically.
When SAP Catalog Authoring Tool is used for the first time, you must open the Edit Catalogs application once, before you create any catalogs. Choosing Edit Catalogs triggers the creation of the master catalog. If you do not do this, SAP Catalog Authoring Tool outputs an error message when you try to create a catalog.
We have already the Master Schema and we know how to map the CCM MASTER CATALOG to the supplier and procurement catalogs. The main problem is that we need to delete the CCM/MASTERCATALOG and created again.
    1. How delete the CCM/MASTERCATALOG?
In a Test enviroment I have delete the CCM/MASTERCATALOG using the "Edit Catalogs" mode then choosing the catalog and confirm the deletion.
Once this has been done, all the catalogs has been erased including the CCM/MASTERCATALOG, so now we have the system in blank. I am not sure if this is the correct way to delete the catalog or there is an easiest way where the Procurement and supplier catalogs dont dissapear once the CCM/MASTERCATALOG is deleted.
    2. Once the CCM/MASTERCATAOG is deleted how to created again?
According to the instructions the SAP Catalog Authoring Tool should created this automatically when is used for the first time, however how we can created the CCM/MASTERCATALOG again if the SAP Catalog Authoring Tool is not used for the fist time.
Is there a way where the system can create the CCM/MASTERCATALOG for a second time?
I follow the steps to create the CCM/MASTERCATALOG for the first time however i didnt get a positive result.
Any help provided will be really appreciated.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
Generation of the /CCM/MASTER_CATALOG is automatic and does not require any additional effort from a catalog admin other than accessing the CDC (Edit Catalogs).
If the catalog is not regenerated at this point it is likely that you then receive an error like 'Error reading catalogs, error reading Master Catalog' or something similar which would indicate that the previous deletion of the master from either table /CCM/D_CTLG or /CCM/D_CTLG_REQ was not successfully completed or that the update operation in table /CCM/D_UPD_STATE remained in update status and never for some reason completed (status 03).
Deletion of the Master catalog should not cause the deletion of any other catalog, unless you have chosen 'delete all catalogs'! Choosing the Master and delete should result in only a deletion request for the master catalog, be aware however that all mapping records between Supplier -> Master -> Procurement catalogs will be destroyed and cannot be 'rejoined' but only rebuilt from scratch. It is also advisable after the Master deletion to chcek with report /CCM/CLEANUP_MAPPING which orphaned items and mapping records require cleanup as it is better to remove these before proceeding with the new mappings.

    Jason

  • Master catalog schema.......

    Hi
I have created Master catalog in CCM 1.0 through Edit Catalog link.
When I tried to edit the Master catalog it says " No schema found for  catalog /CCM/MASTER_CATALOG.
Now I want to upload UNSPSC achema for Master catalog.
Where can I get the UNSPSC schema?

    Hi,
To upload the UNSPSC as your catalog schema, you have to follow the CCM CSV 2.0 file format.
Here is a sample of what it should be:

  • Mapping Contract items to CCM Master Catalog

We have created a contract catalog in CCM which creates a two level schema, the top level being identified by the contract number, the sub level being contract_catalog_classification_schema.  The one material item in the catalog is attached to the top level of the schema(the contract number). We cannot map this to our schema in the ccm master catalog, the assign category button is alway greyed out.  Not sure what we are doing wrong and pretty new at this, can someone help out???
    Thanks

    Hi Serguei,
Do I need to map the contract Catalog and Master Catalog explicitly?? SAP documentation on this says:
"When you transfer a contract to SAP Catalog Content Management, the system compares the items in the contract with supplier catalogs and SRM product catalogs that already exist in SAP Catalog Authoring Tool. If an item in the contract is the same as an item in an existing supplier catalog or SRM product catalog, SAP Catalog Contract Management <b>automatically</b>:
    1) Copies the additional values available in the supplier catalog or SRM product catalog to the contract catalog
    2) Maps the contract information for the item to the master catalog, if the corresponding item in the supplier catalog or SRM product catalog has been assigned for mapping.
So, the mapping has to happen automatically.. isn't it?
    Regards,
    Waheed.

  • CCM 2.0: Status of items is not changed in Master Catalog

    Hello all,
when I upload the same items in Supplier Catalog in Master Catalog and Procurement Catalog for items status is not changed from "Approved" to "Not Approved".
Funny thing is that items need to be approved to go to Procurement Catalog from Master and to publish Procurement Catalog.
    What to do?
    Gordan

    Hello Gordan,
do you mean that in CAT customizing you have your /ccm/master_catalog with "approved" value and the name of your procurement with "To approve" value?
    Best regards

  • Material/service master catalog upload (ECC-CCM)

SRM have 2 possible scenarios to upload the material master data to CCM:
1- Upload material master data from ECC to SRM and, after, from SRM to CCM.
2- Upload material master data directly from ECC to SRM.
Does anybody know the name of the transaction or report in ECC to upload the material/service master catalog directly to CCM?
    Best regards,
    Cristiano Soares

    Hi All-
I have about 3 tricky questions concerning CCM-ECC Integration
1.) Does anybody have any idea on how to upload Material and Service master from ECC 6.0 directly into the CCM 2.0 system. Is there any standard program like we have in SRM called as BBP_CCM_TRANSFER_CATALOG. I
2.) Also are there any complications or is it possble to integrate CCM 2.0 directly from ME51n? I am aware that PM and PS out-of-the-box can be directly integrated to CCM. Is there a similar way to achieve this functionality. If yes can anybody give me some pointers on this.
3.) Are there any complications involved with uploading service masters and interfacing CCM to EBP or ECC and directly using the service master from CCM to create a Shopping cart (CCM-EBP) or  a purchase requisition (CCM-ECC).
I hope some one can throw some light on these questions.
Suitable points will be rewarded for helpfull answers !!
    Thanks,

  • Master Catalog Items in CCM ?   (without XI)

    HI everyone,
I need to load my master catalog items into CCM 1.0, I'll use CSV because I'll not have XI for a few months.
For some reason, when I add to my shopping cart any item comming from my CCM 1.0, the "Order as Direct Material" button dissapear.   It is managed like the "described" items (when the user types everything).
Im not sure if I need to map some fields in CCM in order to make a link with my Master Material CAtalog (R3).
    Any idea ?
    Regards,
    Diego

    Bonjour amis  =)
    1. Vadim, I followed your instructions and now is working fine (Direct Order Material button is there)
    2. Christophe, Im not sure if your propossal works.. because I think I have all that requirements and the button wasn't there:
       - you have a product ID:YES
       - the catalog ID is customized to no product check:YES
       - the product source logical system does not equel EBP logical system (i.e. it is not a standalone scenario). Normaly it should be the backend where the product really exists: YES, in my case I put R3DCLNT120 (R3 client 120)
But the buton wasn't there.. =(      Anyway, If I need for some reason those items in my R3 (because inventory), this scenario would not work for me.  Am I right ?
    Thanks for your help guys,

  • No entry was generated in Master catalog after contract upload by PI...

We use CCM 2.0 as percurment catalog in SRM 7.0 server.
1.I finish the basic configuration and tranfer the product catalog to the CCM.
2.Then I do the mapping of product cat to master cat.
3.I finished the PI scenarios for upload contract.
4.When I publish a contract in the potral, I check the PI monitor is fine.
5.I check the CCM log more, but there is a warning message 'No original catalog item found for contract catalog item 1'.
6.The contract upload successfully and it occurs in the ccm cataloags.
    7.The log showed that
    19.09.2010 16:09:01 (CET): Starting mapping
    19.09.2010 16:09:01 (CET): Starting mapping analysis for catalog 4400000049 -> /CCM/MASTER_CATALOG
19.09.2010 16:09:04 (CET): Mapping completed for catalog /CCM/MASTER_CATALOG
19.09.2010 16:09:04 (CET): Mapping completed for catalog 4400000049
But unfortunately, there is no entry in the master catalog for this contract.
Could you give me some suggestion?
    Much appreciated~~~

Looks like the catalog was unable to be enriched from existing data - does this contract item exist in the SRM product catalog or a supplier catalog for enrichment to take place?
