Hi,
I am looking for the certification matrix for hyperion 8.3 because since I installed JRUN 4 update 6 (replace update 4), services don't start anymore.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Fabienne,
As per the support matrix only JRUN 4 is supported and this is the last release that is supported.
Thanks,

  • Hardware certification matrix for Middleware?

    Hello,
We're planning the installation of a new Weblogic 11 and HTTP server machine, and have a Dell PowerEdge R320 that we're interested in using.   I wanted to find out if there is a certification matrix for hardware, indicating tested / supported hardware configurations and models?
    Thank You

    Hi,
Oracle certificates only Operation System, OS Modell (32/64-bit) and Processor Type., not the hardware.
Refer to Certification Matrix for your release: Oracle Fusion Middleware Supported System Configurations

  • 11g certification matrix

What possible reason could there be for requiring an Oracle Support Identifier just to see the certification matrix for 11g?
    On this page
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/database/oracle11g/111060_linuxsoft.html
there is a link to the certification matrix. Clicking that link takes me to https://support.oracle.com/CSP/ui/flash.html
On that screen I have to log in with an ID that is associated with an Oracle Support Identifier number.
Geeze Loueeze. I just want to see what platforms OS 11g can be installed on.

    Hello,
You may also check the System requirement on the Installation guides.
For instance, for Linux you'll find this:
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11882_01/install.112/e10840/pre_install.htm#CHDFFBIF
All the installation guides are on the following link:

    Hope this help.

  • JD Edwards Certification Matrix

I'm trying to get the certification matrix for JDE EnterpriseOne. I do not have a PeopleSoft CSI and they don't seem to support guest logins.
Can anyone help or point me in the right direction?

Go to oracle.com. You do not need to be registered to get to this site. On the right side, under Resources section, click on Education, Certification. That gets you to the Oracle University web site. On the left side, click on JD Edwards EnterpriseOne link. Then on that window click on one of the Tools and Technology learning paths. That will give you the courses you should take to get CNC training. There is no certification for CNC. At least Oracle does not list any on its certification web site, and I am not aware of any myself. Keep in mind that EnterpriseOne may have a limited future. At some point Oracle is going to merge all its ERP product lines into one line. Just something to think about. Hope this information helps a bit.

  • OS selection for Hyperion suite installation

    Hi all,
As hyperion is available in different OS support like: windows, Linux and Solaris?
In my experince I have seen clients with mixed flavours like windows and solaris or Windows & Linux. Except few hyperion componets major softwares can be installed either on on linux or solaris?
I felt that high ushage products like:Shared services, reports,  essbase, HFM, FDM and Planning if installed on linux or solaris, it will be easy to maintain and less costly for clients?
WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THIS? Hoping that this dicussion will add value to our infra experts..
    Thanks
    Raja.

    Hi there,
As John said it depends on your policies, the existing hardware and the budget that you have available.
In the following url http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/ias/downloads/fusion-certification-100350.html you will find Oracle's certification matrix.
I would just say that my understanding is that most of the "Non-Windows" OS will not support: DRM, FDM, HFM, Performance Management Architect Dimension Server and File Generator, Production Reporting Teradata Engine, and Strategic Finance. Additionally, Financial Reporting, Web Analysis, FDMEE, Account Reconciliation, Financial Close Management, Disclosure Management, and SOA do not support these platforms when used with Financial Management.
As a result, if you need to create an environment that will include/ support HFM, you will end up with a "windows" environment. Please correct me, if I am wrong,
    Regards,
    Thanos

  • BPM 11g Certification Matrix

    Hi everyone!
We are looking for the certification matrix from BPM 11g (in particular for non oracle middleware).
We found the certification matrix from 10g ( [http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/bpm/obpm_config_matrix.html] )
    Thanks in advance,
    Diego.

    Hi Diego,
The certification for BPM 11g is the same as for SOA 11g. You'll find details here:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/ias/files/fusion_certification.html
BPM 11g is not yet certified on non-Oracle app servers.

    hi all,
Can someone point me to Oracle 11g client certification matrix? I was trying to install it on Windows Server 2008R2, but looks like this platform is unsupported. If I manually verify the options the installer thinks are unsafe, will I create an unsupported environment?

  • Certification Matrix shows 11g EE "projected" on Mac Intel also

On the Oracle Certification Matrix (http://www.oracle.com/technology/support/metalink/index.html)
    Product "Database/Server"
    Database Product " Ent. Edition"
    Platform "Apple Mac Intel"
    you get:
Certify - Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition Version 11gR1 On Apple MAC Intel
Operating System: Apple MAC Intel Version -
Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition Version 11gR1
    N/A Version N/A
    Status: Projected
    Product Version Note:
    None available for this product.
    Certification Note:
    STBA
    What does it mean "STBA"?
Most other platforms (AIX, Solaris, Linux, HP/UX) have
    "Status: Projected" also,
but they have as "Certification Note" a 4th Quarter 2007 acronym:
    Q4CY2007

It's now mid-2010 and we are still waiting ...
We use Pearson PowerSchool in our school district and just got this notice from them:
We’ve been anticipating an update from Oracle, which would allow us to deploy Oracle 11g on the Mac. The Windows version from Oracle has been available for nearly 2 years; however, there is still no published delivery date from Oracle for a Mac version.
Complicating matters, the current version of Oracle for the Mac is not compatible with Mac OS X 10.6.x Snow Leopard, which has been shipping since August 2009. New customers, and existing customers who want to upgrade their hardware, would find new Apple servers are incompatible with the current Oracle database. Oracle has not provided a date by which the current version of the Oracle Mac Database (10gR2) will be certified on Mac OS X 10.6.
Oracle’s diminishing commitment to the Apple platform has left Pearson with limited options for customers using Mac servers. We do not have a commitment from Oracle for future versions of the database supporting the Mac, and current versions of the Oracle database are incompatible with new hardware running Mac OS X 10.6.
Therefore, all Mac customers should make plans to replace their Mac database servers with a Windows-based database server (physical or virtual). Pearson will discontinue support for the Mac database server effective December 31, 2010.*
Should Oracle issue a version of 11g with Mac compatibility, we will evaluate support options for this platform again.
This is extremely bad news for us as we are a Macintosh district and don't have the resources to support Windows servers. Why is Oracle not supporting Mac OS X? Is there anyone we can complain to or is it just a hopeless cause?

  • Certification Matrix shows 10gR2 "projected" on Mac Intel

On the Oracle Certification Matrix (http://www.oracle.com/technology/support/metalink/index.html)
    - Product "Database/Server"
-- Database Product " Ent. Edition"
    --- Platform "Apple Mac Intel"
    you get now two records:
    - the first about 11gR1 (see my previous post, it still has certification "STBA")
    - the second about 10gR2
Certify - Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition Version 10gR2 On Apple MAC Intel
Operating System: Apple MAC Intel Version -
Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition Version 10gR2
    N/A Version N/A
    Status: Projected
    Product Version Note:
    None available for this product.
    Certification Note:
    2H CY2008
So it seems that somehow during 2008 ...
What does it means exactly "2H CY2008"?
Other platforms show acronims like "Q4CY2007", which is Quarter 4 Year 2007, I suppose.

  • Certification Matrix

    Hi,
We have 11.1.1.1.0v of OID implemented within Oracle. This was done by a separate team. They pointed me to OTN to gain access to the documentation for the version to gain access to the certification matrix. However I was not able to find related document on OTN for 11.1.1.1.0.
We have 10g applications like Email / Calendar / Conference which are still in production use and wanted to validate the certification of this new version of OID against the 10g products.
Appreciate if I can get some pointers on the above.
    Cheers

Did you check the 11g documentation. Specially the "Common Scenarios and Tasks" section:
