CFFTP using browse, filename is wrong

I want a user to be able to browse to a file on their local machine then FTP it to a remote server.I've been using CFFTP. I can make the connection to the server just fine. I have the path correct. The problem is when selecting the file through browse, it renames it as a temp file. How can I get the filename on the local computer and the remote server the same?

Since the class is in a package named "test", the Test.class file must be in a directory named "test". And it's this package directory that must be in the classpath. In your case, you should have a directory c:\java\test which contains Test.class.

Under Network Adapter -> Advanced Features. I read there
Enable MAC Address Spoofing (not checked)
Enable DHCP Guard (not checked)
Enable router advertisement guard (not checked)
At all VM states (install, copy, clone, export, import) I never touched the advanced network settings. Only the necessary changes to have networking up (aka attach to the correct, working network switch).
Also made some extra tests involving attaching / detaching a legacy network adapter (just in case) and checking the MAC Addresses on all VM's (active / inactive).
Did not figured out a MAC Address issue, all VM's had got their MAC from the pool and were different. Also the MAC address pool between 2 Hyper-V Servers was different (as expected since they have different "real" IP addressee but you never know)

Need to select link twice when using Browser back button

I see that my command_link works fine in normal scenarios.
But when I come to that page using browser back button and then select the link within the page.... the first time, looks like its regenerating the page and only when I select the link second time it is calling the action listener associated with the link.
Any clue as to how to fix this problem?

JRE Setup to Client machine on Intranet by using browser...

I have a problem about setting up JRE. If a client on the network wants to execute my client application, if there is no jre on the clent machine, the application try to connect java.sun.com for setting up JRE. If client machine has no internet connection, then the application cannot work. So my aim is to set up jre on the local server. For this, I reserched many times. But I cannot success. Becuase I dont know what is requirements for setting JRE b y using browser.

To use browser cache

After a contents is gatewayed through the portal, 'Cache-Control' value is setted as 'no-store, no-cache' even though it is setted to use cache from the remote server.
We need to use browser caching function, but with the 'Cache-Control' value resetted in the portal while it is gatewayed, we cannot use browser caching function.
Is there anyway to keep 'Cache-Control' value to use browser caching when a content is gatewayed through the portal server?

The bug is related to client browser caching, but is rooted in the gateway. As you've noted, the gateway is erroneously adding no cache headers to the response for certain content types, thereby preventing the browser from caching them.

Column freez using browser based scroll bar

hi all,
i got some solution to freeze columns using scrollbar its really nice,
but i want to freeze columns , i have to use browser based scroll bar instead of report scroll bar, when i scroll mouse then report headers will locked at starting position of page and then only data will vertically scroll without scroll bar in report.

no, no, that's just a regular finder window. I don't have any finder extensions. That's just a regular finder window that happens to have a folder with the CDFinder application in it.

The second click of a double-click gets lost on the horizontal scroll bar.
Are you saying you never get a horizontal scroll bar, or just that whenever a horizontal scroll bar appears it doesn't ever cover a file?

If so, can you be a little bit more specific? What does happen when you have "Remember history" activated? When is the information deleted, etc. Is it after closing Firefox? After restarting your computer? Is it your personal computer or is it a work computer? Are you the administrator of the computer? The more information you give us the easier will be for us to give yo a precise answer.

Getting the entire file path using "Browse button"

I searched the forum for the solution, but did not find it there.
I am using JFileChooser to browse and select a file.
then i have to pass this file as and argument to another java program where it reads the file and sends it to the server.
Now what i actually want is, when the file is selected i want to get the file nam along with the path i.e. C:/temp/temp.doc
instead i am getting only temp.doc.
I tried setting the JFileChooser mode as DIRECTORIES_ONLY. But that gives me only C:/temp and not the file name.
If i set it as FILES_AND_DIRECTORIES it again gives me only the file name and not the path.
pls. help me. its urgent.

What is wrong with JFileChooser.getSelectedFile()? From the returned File object you can get the canonical name which sounds to be what you want.

PDF does not save filled out fields when using browser

Hello! I have a couple PDFs that I've uploaded to my website for clients to fill out and download. I'm getting complaints that clients are filling out the form, saving it to their computer, but when re-opening the now saved form, none of the fields are filled out.
Am I doing something wrong? I've provided the forms to be savable in the security functions, and I tested it myself after downloading the PDF and filling it out in the browser (as it automatically opens in browser), and saving to my PC, I re-open the PDF and it is empty of any of the fields I filled out.
Please help! This is causing my clients to lose faith in me!

Which version of Acrobat are you using?
Just to confirm, when you say "I've provided the forms to be savable in the security functions," did that mean you (using Acrobat XI as an example):
File menu > Saved As Other... > Reader Extended PDF > Enable More Tools (includes form fill-in & save)

A way to view ALL of a genre without using "Browse"?

I would love to be able to view all of a genre of movie without having to use the Browse feature, but I can't find an option. The problem I have with Browse is it doesn't show you art for the titles, and sometimes I need the art to help recognise the film/tv show/what-ever. So is there a way?
If you click a movie genre, you are taken to a page showing Top film sales, new and noteworthy etc, but no option just to view them all.
Do Apple want to actually sell them or not?

Ok, first, let me apologise. After seeing your screenshot, it is obvious that you have an option in your store that is not visible in the UK store. We have "See All" next to the title of each section such as "New and Noteworthy", and that is the one I thought you were on about. I don't have a picture to select like you do.
Saying that, you are still wrong in the way that this supposedly shows you "all" the titles, if in fact there are only 200 listed as you say. Even in our UK store (where I am sure we have far less titles than the US store), I have counted up to 200 titles using the Browse option and am still only halfway through titles beginning with 'D'! There must be a good 1000 titles, just for Action & Adventure alone.
It seems Apple are trying their hardest to make sure we don't see all of the titles available after all.

The Form enctype=multipart/formdata and input type=file parameters are needed along with method=post.
You then need a servlet(or MS PostingAcceptor) on the server side to read/store it. The Post data is in multiple parts with the parms on separate lines..

Blackberry Curve 8520 (o2) - No data plan - Using browser purely with wifi?

I have just got a Blackberry curve 8520. I'm on o2.
I haven't got a plan that includes data, so was wondering how I can use my Blackberry internet over wifi.
Under mobile network settings I've disabled data services, so I don't get charged for data without me knowing.
I've also changed my browser configuration to Hotspot browser, and its found my Wireless network okay and saved.
However when I go on browser, It just keeps coming up with unable to connect to the internet.
Am I doing anything wrong?

I dont have a data plan (work phone) and can get internet through wifi, and have done so without any issue.
check 'Menu', 'Manage Connections', Wifi is ticked, with network name in Green
check your using Hotspot Browser, (you did say this, I know). So it definately says Hotspot Browser at the top of the browser when open rather O2 Active (or similar)
I'll keep looking to see if there are any settings I can find which could help
