Change button names

Hi Experts,
Is it possible to change the button name in SAP documents? Ex. SO button 'ADD' changed to 'SAVE'.

Hi Don,
Unfortunately, it is not possible to change button names, we can only change label names. If you want to change button names, you need to customize an addon.

I've written the following code that invokes a JOPtionPane messageDialog, when the delete button is hit in the following frame and the selectedItem in the JComboBox is Default.
I want to change the JOPtionPane button name from OK to Close. Is there a way to do this with error message dialoges, as their is with confirmDialoges?

yes, I've looked at the tutorials. But there is no way to change button title for JOptionPane.showMessageDialog. Only JOptionPane.showOptionsDialog provides you w/ that feature, becuz it provides the parameter in the method.
I was wondering if there was another way to do this for showMessageDialog.

Change button name in a for-loop

Hi all,
I would like to implement a 'for loop' to add buttons to my panel depending on the value of max_number.
The postion of these buttons will also change with each passing of the loop.
The code below implements this. But when I click the buttons they only return the action listener of the last button drawn. This is because the JButton my_button is reused in each pass through the loop.
What I need is to change the name of the button on each passing of the loop so that I create a new button each time with it's own unique action listener.
Is there a way of adding/appending the value of 'i' to the button name each time the for loop is run?
For example
When i = 0 -> JButton my_button0 = ...
When i = 1 -> JButton my_button1 = ...
etc, etc,
for (i = 0; i < max_number; i++)
JButton my_button = new JButton(Integer.toString(i));
my_button.addActionListener( new ActionListener()
{ public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent event)
{ do something depending on the value of 'i' }});

What?! Are you talking about the variable name? You can't, shouldn't, needn't use different variable names in a for loop, since the variables "expire" each time the loop is run. For instance:
for(int i = 0; i < 10; i++) {
//j doesn't exists even if this loop is on its 10'th lap!
int j = i;
}And you will have a problem with the ActionListener as well, since it depends on the "i" variable. "i" can't be accessed from an anonymous class unless it has been declared final, in which case it won't work for you.
So: the my_button variable will contain a new JButton each time!

How to change button names linked with the 'connect command?'

Hi,
I have linked a button in the sequence view to the Exeution entry point 2 (Single Pass) using the 'Connect command'. The button now displays 'Single Pass' as its caption name while running. I want to give a custom name to this button, but it should still be connected to the single pass function. How can rename it?

You will find the Text for the buttons in one of the ini files. Use the CustomStrings.ini to define your new text, which will override the text defined in the other ini file located in the NI folder when the Operator Interface or SeqEditor first launched and loads the various resources.

Hi guys, i'm trying to make an application for a Q&A format, but i'm having difficulties with one last thing.
I have 10 buttons made, what i need is -
I want to click on a button, and it should exchange the text in it from Answer 1 to XPTO
same for button 2 to YYYY and so on.
Can you help please?

Changing default name of FDF file created by submit button

Hi all,
I was wondering if there was a way to change the default file name used by acrobat when the submit button is clicked. Currently, when a user clicks the submit button on my form, acrobat allows them to generate an FDF file and either save it to their hard drive or attach it to an email, but uses the file name "<name of pdf form>.fdf" I would like to change this to a unique ID that is generated based on form data. I didn't have any problems generating the UID, but I can't figure out how to change the name of the FDF file.
Does anyone know if this is possible?

Do you sign the document before extending the features? If you do then make sure "Lock the Document after signing" checkbox is not checked. Try this:
Clear all signature fields.
Click on the field that you want to sign
"Sign Document" window will appear
In the left bottom corner this check box will appear.
Uncheck it.

How do I change a name of a button in a Flash movie?

Hello everybody,
I'm newbie with Flash and I have a problem.
I have a flash movie, which I want to use as a header for a website. When I play the movie, I have 5 different buttons on it. When I open through Flash the .fla file it shows me that there is one button copied 5 times.
How do I change the name in one of the buttons in the movie, I want when I play the movie, to have a different name on the button, but I don't understand from where do I change the name, if all the buttons I have in the .fla file has the About me name, I suggest the name is the same because all the buttons does the same effect when you go over them.

I'm assuming you mean you want to change the label that displays on the button when you run the file. Flash allows for a variety of ways to approach a design, so there is no ready-made answer. If all of the buttons appear to be the same in the fla file, then chances are they are getting their labels from actionscript code.
What you probably need to do is look thru the actionscript code that might be in the first frame or so of the timeline. You can identify frames containing actionscript because they what appears to be a lower case "a" in them. If you click on such a frame and open the Actions window, you will see the actionscript code. Look for any code that has the button labels you see when you run the file.
You might also have some other file(s) that came with the fla, such as an .as file or a .xml file. If so, you may need to look in these files also.

Is it possible to change the name of the about button "About" to "MyPName"??

Is it possible, in AfterEffects CS3, to change displaying name of the about button "About" to "MyPName"??
If that is not possible could you please tell me how can I add the parameter, in my UI, similar to the "About" button?? I mean
- color of the "MyPName" = color of the "About" button ( blue color right now )
- click on "MyPName" then should open dialog ... etc.

None of the links or buttons do not works after change the name of the page

I made some modifications on the original page and changed its orijinal name LoaSummaryPG to XXLoaSummaryPG. Although all of the components are the same as the orijinal one, none of the links and buttons are not working in the newly copied page. Neither only changing the name LoaSummaryPG to XXLoaSummaryPG nor creating a new page with a name XXLoaSummaryPG did not work.
A page works with no error and the data shown is correct when it opened.
Is it about regionMap.xml? or what can i do?

I can't make any other action in the page. Now, I can only say that al actions in the page except about this page link and personalization link cause this error.

Filter button doesn't work after changing worksheet name

I am using Bex 7.10. I have a workbook with 2 queries. I want to change the name on the Tab for each sheet but when I do that the Filter and Information buttons no longer work. Is there a way to do this?

Check in the Design mode and right click on the Filter tab and check do you see all the filters listed?
If not you can reinsert the query to a new workbook and try.

really do not understand why apple provides just one confusing delete button in its newer ios, instead of the previous versions which actually gives a confirmation button of whether to delete voice memo.

What system did the Mac come with and what system are you running now? If it's 2 years old, i.e. bought in 2010 then it came with Leaport or Snow Leopard installed and would have had install disks. Included in those disk would be a disk similar to one of these:

Change the name of decision button in SWBP

Hi ,
I copied the standard workflow. I Want to change the button name when it appears in SWBP.
Currently is says, "Sent back for corrections" i need to change it to "Rejected".
I went to the task -> outcome and change NAme field. I ran SWU_OBUF but the new desctiption is not getting effected any ideas on what am doing wrong or what i need to do?

Hello,
The change will only take effect for workitems created after the change.
Also, you have to change the value in the Decision tab, not the Outcomes tab.
