Yes it is possible. You can do it using AT SELECTION SCREEN OUTPUT event. Just search forum and SAP help lots of sample code and help available on the same.

Have you noticed any difference between your MacBook and others at the Apple store? Wondering whether this is a configurable setting at the system level, i.e., DPI.
You can default Firefox to a larger zoom level to avoid having to zoom every page. You'll still be able to adjust the size for individual sites as needed. It sounds as though you are aware of these add-ons:

There are some discussions about changing coming in Firefox 22 (I think) to address higher density displays like the Retina display. So perhaps there will be a built-in setting to address this in the future.

How to get the screen number in the change/display FI Document screen?

I was just wondering if there is a way, in the abap dictionary or otherwise, for me to detect the assigned screen number in the FI Change/Display Document screen (FB02/FB03)?
I ask this because the screen number changes depending on the line item's posting key and G/L Account from my observation.

Yes you can get by the SHDB transaction
GO to SHDB. click on the new recording... give the name of the recording as ZFB02.. enter the tcode FI02 and press start recording..
Put the Document and open all required screens.. you need to put the values in the required fields to be caputred in the recording.
Come back and save.
Now, if you are planning to make a BDC to change the FI document than you can use the BAPI BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_CHANGE.

Go to menu Edit-->Other user group, choose the user group, where u have assigned the infoset no give the name of ur query and press create button, it will display all the infosets those are assigned with that user group. Now select ur infoset and start developing the query.

Changing Login Parameters

We are planning to implement the Password Policy for SAP users in our organization...
we want to change next parameters
Login/no_automatic_user_sapstar
Login/fails_to_session_end
Login/password_expiration_time
Login/min_password digit
Login/min_password_letters
Login/min_password_special
Login/min_password_diff
so I have some questions,
first of all this change will be applied in our productive system SAP CRM ABAP 7.0 with MSSQL
what will be the impact when this change will be applied?, I mean the policies is inmediatly or for example it will be reflect until one user ask to be reset or until the expiration time defined will be get,
what will happen with comunication users?, I have seen some documentation when mentiion that just communication users of certain type will be affected, I can't understand it,, someone has experience doing that?
so I'm worried about communication users because we have some importants users that communicate BPM(JAVA SAP) or ESB (JAVA IBM),

To expand a bit on the answer to your first question, about when it will take effect, the answer is it depends. It's true that the parameters don't take effect for the system until a restart, but as for when, after that, they impact the users depends on several factors. Users will not be required to change their password until the expiration time has passed, but chances are that many of your users, if they've had accounts longer than the expiration time, will already be past that expiration time. In that case, they will be asked to change their password with their next logons following the restart. The exceptions will be people who have recently changed their password already or who have new user accounts.
As for the other parameters mandating password complexity, by default they will be applied the next time the user changes their password (which, for many, will be right away, as just described), but if the current password is not yet expired, it will be allowed to stand even if it doesn't meet the complexity rules until it does expire. You can change this, however, with another parameter: login/password_compliance_current_policy. By default this parameter is inactive, but if you set it to 1, then users with passwords that don't meet the current complexity requirement will be forced to change right away, even if they are not expired.
With regard to your second question, about the impact of the new policy on your Communication users, here is the basic layout of impacts:

So yes, Communications users are subject to the password rules, but as Sunny was saying, generally the rules only impact interactive logons, and Communications users don't logon interactively (GUI Logon). Still, if you want to be sure, you can change their type to System, and they still will not be able to logon interactively, and they will not be subject to password expiration. Either way, they also will not be counted during license measurement.

Transformation Change / Display Error

I have an inactive transformation that I am trying to display or change. The transformation is to load a PC file into a cube.
The system returns this error message when I try to display / change: "The object name is not allowed to be empty, Message no. R7105".
Any ideas how to get around this? Is there a program to activate a single transformation in the background?

Try applying [OSS Note 1266603 - Re-importing into source system deletes routines & formulas|https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=1266603] to your BW environment and attempt to change/display the Transformation.
If that doesn't work, follow the instructions on [OSS Note 983036 - Transformation: Error analysis for generation errors|https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=983036]. You're basically going to deactivate, temporarily, the Transformation abort logic so that you can analyze to find which Rule ID has no code in the generated ABAP program for the Transformation, and allow you to resolve that issue.
We had this occur when we upgraded from NetWeaver 7.0 to NetWeaver 7.0 EHP1 (or NetWeaver 7.01). There were about 5 Transformations that I had to do this to. It worked beautifully, but hopefully you won't have to do this and the first OSS Note takes care of the issue.

Is there a possibility to change step-parameters during debug execution ?

Would be helpfull to be able to change step-parameters during step-by-step dubugging execution.

I am assuming you want to provide some sort of debug from your Operator Interface.
I've been looking at using the SequenceFilePreStep and SequenceFilePostStep to provide some sort of debug.
Using the SequenceFilePreStep callback you could place some code in here to evaluate the step running (about to be executed) and display an appropiate Dialog box to allow the user to change any of the available parameter.
My simple example tests if the step is a NumericLimitTest step type and if so, allows the user to change the Upper Limits only (said it was simple).
Now to Looking at the Locals and Parameters in the Sequence of the Step about to be performed. You will have to look at RunState.Caller.Locals and RunState.Caller.Parameters. Get a list
of the variables, find out the type and provide the suitable interface to be able to modify the contents.

me-->view_group_context->is_view_in_display_mode( me ). here "me" refers to the implementation class of view.

How to disable the 'Change - Display' Button in Cluster via SM34 ?

Hi
I have a View Cluster maintained with a transaction wich calls SM34 passing it the Cluster.
I need the dialog be only in display mode, so i'm looking for a way to disable the button Change<->Display.
Does somebody knows how can i do this ? maybe with an event, the button does not appears or well making the button does not change the display mode (does not change the field VIEW_ACTION siwtch from 'S' to 'U')

Hi Frank,
On SAP 4.7 Version
1). Goto SHD0
2). Enter the transaction code as SM34
3). ENter the transaction Variant as say ZSM34
4). Click on the create button --> this will take you to the sm34 screen. If you want to default some value or disable something on this screen just hit enter on this screen. You will get a popup window to select and restrict.
5). You can further go to next screen and deactivate the menu. On the popup screen you will get a button MENU FUNCTIONS.

According to your post, my understanding is that you want to change display name of workflow email address in sharepoint 2010.
In my environment, if I assign a task to a user, the email is as below:
The “test” is the site name, the [email protected] is the “From” user.
Do you want to change the “From” field in the workflow?
If so, you can have a look at the "Send email extended" custom SPD workflow activity (http://www.codeplex.com/SPDActivities
) which allow you to specify the sender.

It's possible change the Display Name ? Yes.
You can change the display name by using the PERSONAL_NAMES mapping table.
For example to change the following on outgoing email (via tcp_local):

1) Add the personalmap keyword to the tcp_local channel
2) Add the following mapping table to the mappings file:
PERSONAL_NAMES

Permanent Crash related to changing display settings while FCP is open.

Recently, the display settings (arrangement) on my two monitors started changing by itself while I was working in FCP 6.5. I'm using ancient monitors (Viewsonic MB90 and Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 920. I just don't have the money to upgrade right now). Tis was annoying but I dealt with the problem by creating two different windows layouts. Then things got worse (the only thing I had done was install 8 gigs of additional memory on top of the original 2). FCP started crashing and now I can't even open the application. It doesn't react.
Apple recently posted a not very informative acknowledgement of the problem with changing display settings while FCP is open, but it doesn't suggest solutions to my problem. It would be helpful to know a) what resolution and refresh rates are best for these old monitors and b)how to open FCP again. Your help is greatly appreciated.

THIS IS IT!
Disabling the nVidia deep colors for 3d applications solved the uber-annoying "flicker-screen-settings-and-disrupt/crash-other-programs" issue. I specifically only disabled deep colors for Premiere, not for all 3d applications I use, because none of them have caused the same problem as Premiere.
This display-screen setting issue probably occurred because I use a Dell u3011 monitor which displays Adobe RGB color gamut, not just sRGB.
However, now this brings up another question with disabling deep colors (effectively disabling the Adobe RGB use of the Dell monitor):
QUESTION: If I have CG-rendered frames that seem to be created in sRGB and Adobe RGB (in two different programs), what color space should I be mixing/editing them in?
I'm somewhat of a novice with the color spectrum/gamut issue. From what I understand, if I edit both CG images in sRGB, I'll be losing color data from the Adobe RGB-created CG image. If I edit both CG images in Adobe RGB, will I create minor banding effects on the sRGB image because it doesn't have the color range that I'm editing in? Perhaps my question is more relevant to AfterEffects compositing of the images rather than simply/only editing them in Premiere.
The end result is something like an architectural film/ flythrough.

What do you mean when you saying: init file (or spfile)? Where can I find these files?
Registry entry (NLS_LANG) is correct, but when I'm using web based administration application I can see more NLS settings. Unfortunately I can't change them :(
Using XE version I can't (I'm not sure about that) create another instance, there is only one instance created by installer. Is it possible to change NLS settings in this case?

as tibollo said you just need to mark 0CALMONTH with text in RSD1.
Kindly note that you don't need to do data load for this object.
It will automatically derive by system.
Just change the Info object 0CALMONTH in RSD1, Go to Master Data/text column and check mark on with text.
Then activate it.
