Hi - I cannot upload my emails through the mail icon. The first time I tried it only loaded very old emails, I then tried the whole process again and it has not imported a single email. I use hotmail, and have had no problems with my iPhone or iPad. So the only way I can check my emails on my mac is to go through the internet. Can anyone help?
Hello, do you mean Download?
In Mail's Window Menu, choose Connection Doctor, any red dots for status, if so what is the message?
Then click the Show Details button & Check again. -
I made a new apple password and want to change it on my iphone, but i don't know how.
You can change it from Settings > iTunes & App Stores.

I changed my apple id due to our email address changing. The new apple id works fine on my iphone but my wife cannot update apps on either her iphone 5 or ipad. It keeps asking for the password to the apple id we no longer use. What are solutions?
If you updated your existing account then try logging out of the account on the iPad by tapping on the id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6+) and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on it - and similarly with the iPhone.

I deleted/changed my old apple ID (from the apple webb site) and I have changed all my Apple products onto the new ID, but they all randomly ask for a password for the old ID (which now will not work and I can't change) the biggest problem is that my icloud account will not let me in to do anything.
my knowledge of Apple is limited. We need to be clear here. Did you create a second ID, or just modify the single ID?

I changed my Apple ID/ email address. But iCloud won't let me change from my old one. I don't remember my password to my old one. How do I fix this?
Hello Brookeg189,
You may be able to use the password for your existing iCloud account to get past this dialog.

When I set up the icloud I was using my then email address. My email address has now changed.
I tried to access under the old email address to change it to a new email address but I couldn't remember the security questions and as I can't access the old email address, I can't change it. So to solve the problem I set up a new account under the new email address. The only problem is my iphone is still asking for the old email address password which doesn't work.
How do I connect my iphone to the new account as it wont let me delete the old account on the iphone without the password (which as mentioned above doesn't work)?Content and Apple IDs -
Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple ID to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with one Apple ID with a new Apple ID. -
i have updated my iphone 5s to iOS8 but it has my old icloud account, how can i change the icloud email address as i can not get passed this page??
I do not know the log in details and no longer have that icloud email address !!
please help :-(That's Activation Lock. You will need to remember the Apple ID and password you used to set up the phone.
If you can't remember them, you can go to iforgot.apple.com to try to recover the information.
If you are the original owner of the phone & have proof of purchase, you can try calling Apple to see if they can assist also.

As explained above, my system keeps asking me to fix my iCloud preferences for my old and new AppleID since it's not backing up my files. I don't have access to my old email address and don't have my password for my old AID. How can I delete this and correct my iCloud ID issues? Thanks in advance. By the way, the Apple support articles don't cover this problem in a way that allows me to fix it. This problem exists on my Mac desktop, my iPad, and my
You may want to check, if you have changed all Apple services to use your new AppleID, just in case.

I seam to have two Apple accounts under one email address. Can I delete the old one? How do I do this?

Are you sure ? As far as I know an Apple ID can only be associated with one email address.
Go to My Apple ID and click Manage your account

Apple IDs cannot be deleted.
Anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID

I had to recently change my email address. Everything is fine except for when I want to download an app, my old email still shows up. How can I change and/or update the new itune email address on my phone?
All apps, all paid and free apps include DRM protection which is tied to the iTunes account that was used to download the apps. You can't transfer apps downloaded with one account to another account or merge accounts.

I changed my apple id and everything works fine except message and facetime. I cannot reactivate imessage and facetime is using my email instead of my mobile number. How do I reactivated message and use my mobile number on both applications?
I apologize. I misread your statement.
The information that I provided about adding the phone number back to the iPad is valid and should work. Now as for the activation of messages, take a look at these support articles for starters. Hopefully, something in one of these will help.

I had to change my Apple ID and password in itunes. Now my icloud doesn't work and I can't update my apps on my iPhone. I have looked at suggestions on the community pages and apple suggestions but none of them are relevant to iOS 8.1.2
icloud just keeps bringing up my old email address & asking for my old password which doesn't exist anymore and when I try to sign out of icloud it wants my old password, when I tried to change my primary email back to the old one it wants me to verify it through an email address that doesn't exist. Please can you help me sort out this nightmare.Hi skippy2012trev,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that you updated your Apple Id and password but now you are being prompted for the old information in iCloud. You are on the right track by changing the Apple ID back to the previous email address temporarily so that you can sign out. You should not need to verify the email address. After you edit the Apple ID back to the old email address and then sign out of iCloud on your iPhone, edit the Apple ID back to the address you would currently like to use. There is no need to change the password again, only the email address, unless you prefer to update the password again.
If you're asked for the password to your previous Apple ID when signing out of iCloud - Apple Support
Change your Apple ID temporarily
If signing out and back in to iMessage or FaceTime didn't help, try these steps:
Change your Apple ID to the Apple ID you used previously. You shouldn't need to verify the email address.
Tap Settings > iCloud. Complete these steps only if the Find My [Device] setting is turned on:
Scroll down and tap Sign Out, then tap Sign Out to confirm. If you're using iOS 7 or earlier, tap Delete Account, then tap Delete to confirm.
Tap Keep on My [Device] or Delete from My [Device]. In either case, your data remains in iCloud and will be updated on your device when you sign in to iCloud again.
Enter the password for your previous Apple ID.
Change your Apple ID to the new email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
Return to Settings > iCloud and sign in with your new Apple ID.
Cheers,
Joe
