Change username for a application

Hi,
I have created an application which is using stor proc ....
Due to some changes I have to chnage the db username and pass.
In database navigator i opend my app connection and changed username and password. Test connection is also successfull .
But when i run my application i am receving following error-

Do i have to change the username or password at any other place also ...
Any idea?

You are right Jhon I am using Jdev 11g
I have tried folloiwng options-
in my XXmodel.jpx i edit my connection and update username and password.
In application resource ->connections->database property i am able to see new username and pass.
In database navigator also new user name and password is avaliable but applictaion not running same error.
I deleted the connetcion and created a new one but not working :(
Any other pointer...

Its a shame for Apple to remove the Get Info panel option to change language for individual application! For these days I used Leopard, where I had this option, now I bought a brand new mac, for a bunch of money, with Lion, and this option had disappeared. What's that? Apple is working on making more complicated the life of their users?

Thanks for your tip, but languageswitcher not set the language permanently just for the applications started from that application. Very inelegant and windows like way.
I used the terminal to set the defaults for individual application, but that is step back to the age of command line.
I spent with this problem 1 hour instead of 1 minutes. Big step back.

Issue in Oracle 11g Database Change Notification for Java application

Hi,
I am trying to use Oracle's Database Change Notification in Java application.
I followed the sample application (+DBChangeNotification.java+ , Example 29-2), provided in the following link:

I am able to see that the Registration of the SQL query is successful.
But, when I do changes to the table registered, notifications are not received in the Listener class (+DCNDemoListener.java+).
Ideally, the method DCNDemoListener.onDatabaseChangeNotification() should be invoked on any insert/update to the registered table. But this method is not getting invoked.
The execution has stopped in the following line of DBChangeNotification.java Class.
this.wait();
+==> The application was WAITing indefinitely in this line, as the NOTIFY() from DCNDemoListener.java was not executed.+
I am using VPN to connect to Oracel server. Remote Oracle Server is protected my firewall. Is this the reason for not sending the notifications from Oracle server?
The version of software used are given below:
Oracle Client - Oracle 11.1.0
JDK - 1.6
Oracle JDBC Driver - ojdbc6.jar
Can someone help me to resolve this issue?

I am having similar issue. Where you able to resolve it.
I am also using the same example you were using.
I am using the following version.
Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.2.0 - 64bit Production
Compatibility: 11.2.0.0.0
I do not see any notification coming back from the DB.

Want to change template for an application

I made my first test application on oracle's provided platform.
I chose the template with No tabs. Now I realize I need the tabs. I dont find a way to change the template assigned to an application.
Is it really allowed or not ??

Raghav,
If you just want to change template for that particular page, go to edit page and in the Display Attributes select the template that you want, by default its Application level default. For changing the application default template go to Home>Application Builder>Application #>Shared Components>Themes>Create/Edit Theme and there you can change the default values.

Change memory for classic application from 10.3.9

PowerBook G4 Sys 10.3.9
Changing memory alloted to aplication...
Normally I'd quite the app, highlight it's icon, hit "command-i"
and change memory in the dialog box that pops up.
However this classic app give me the correct dialog box without my
being able to highlight minimum and preferred memory amounts.
The only change I've made since installing classic application
on this mac i bought used is to make myself "admin"
and deleted old admin after creating my own password.
Should I reinstall classic application? (Virtus Walkthru Pro2.0)
An oldie but a goodie very important to us.
Or is there some simple fix I'm overlooking?

Hi, Gregor, and welcome to Apple Discussions. Wow! I haven't heard anyone mention WalkThru Pro in at least five or six years. I used it to "pre-build" a total reconstruction of my house back in 1995, so my wife could see what it was going to look and feel like, inside and out. Darned if the house doesn't look and feel just like the model did (or better), so I'm still happily married. But WTP has been retired since then. It paid for itself dozens of times over, in a single use!
Are you certain that the icon on which you Got Info was the application itself, and not an alias? If that isn't the issue, then yes, it would be worth reinstalling WTP to make sure you have appropriate permissions to tinker with it.

Need to change username for app store

My wife has the original ipad with ios 5.0.1
Her username works fine for the itunes store, but when I go to the app store app on the ipad to upgrade her apps, which are up to 34 upgrades, a different username comes up and no password works with it. I tried syncing signed in and not with our computer numerous times. I don't see any way to change the username of the app store app. Tried going to Apple ID 3 times to recover a password for this username, it says it sent me a e-mail and I never get one. It's a very old username of mine before you needed a email address as a username.

It makes no sense to me that her ID works in the iTunes Store but it will not work on the App Store. The same ID should work on both stores - as long as she bought the apps with the ID that she uses in iTunes.
See what account is showing on the iPad in Settings>Store>Apple ID. If it is the wrong ID in there, tap - sign out and then sign in with the correct account.

How do i change jdk for iplanet Application server

Hi,
For both Solaris and Windows platform the following steps can be done to change the JDK version.
- Go to <ias_install_directory>/ias/usr/java. This is the place where the JDK is installed and used by iAS. Rename the directory java to some other name, say old_ias_java and create a directory java under <ias_install_directory>/ias/usr.
- You can replace the contents of this directory with any of the installed JDK directory. For example in Windows environment, if you have JDK 1.3.1 installed, then copy all the contents from C:\Jdk1.3.1_03 to the <ias_install_directory>/ias/usr/java
Please let me know if this helps.

when i create a application connection(10gAS), i must enter ias_admin and password, and EJB connection i must enter one user. but i don't know which user.
can you tell me user and password of that user?
and if i want change username and password then how must i do ?

you may change the userID/ passwd from menu or create conn segment for each of the userID/ passwd combination .

I recently changed my Apple ID username and password and now get a message each time I open my iPad to enter my Apple ID to continue to receive downloads. However the message shows the old username for my Apple ID.

I recently changed my Email address which required me to change my username for my Apple ID and my password. The changed has been successful, but each time that I open my iPad, I get a message that I need to enter my Apple ID to continue to receive downloads. The problem is that the username that comes up for entry of the password is the OLD Apple ID username. I have entered the old password and then then I am directed that it is not correct and given advice to change my password or username. I can't figure out how to resolve this issue.

If you updated your existing account then try logging out of it on the iPad by tapping on the id in Settings > iTunes & App Stores and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on the iPad.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.

How to track changes in a hyperion application for SOX control?

Hello all,
We have been working on identifying the best way on how to track changes in a hyperion application in regards to the SOX control.
The following areas have been identified as the main areas of an application where the changes are to be tracked:
Monthly data load from ODI
Calculation of data
Metadats change
Formula edit
Changes to reports
Changes to security
Can anybody please suggest the best ways to do this? Has anyone experienced this issue before?
Somebody suggested that there is hyperion auditing available.
Is there any other software that is available that can do this or just documenting the changes would be the best option?
Please suggest. Toyr response would be appreciated.

Shared Services allows the auditing of provisioning and life-cycle management activities to track changes to security objects and the artifacts that are exported or imported using Lifecycle Management Utility.

Planning Administrators can select aspects of the application for change tracking. For example, you can track changes to metadata, such as when users change a member property or add a currency. You can also track changes in data forms, business rules, workflow, users, access permissions, and so on.

How to change Apple ID for all applications in iPad2?

I have changed Apple ID via Settings > Store > Apple ID > Sign out my old Apple ID > Sign in with my new Apple ID.... But, by this method, Apple ID in iCloud, Facetime, and iMessage isn't changed follow to my new one! Do I misunderstand about changing ID? and How to change Apple ID for these applications?
PS. I do not want to do hard reset my iPad2

Go into Settings > iCloud > Account > Change to your new Apple ID
Settings > Messages > Recieve At > New Apple ID
Settings > Facetime > Change to new Apple ID

Change/Set permissions for specific application?!

I have at least one application that always enables GPS although it isn't needed --> more power consumption, I don't know why it is doing this. Additionally I have some applications I don't want to have access to the internet (at least if I'm not connected to Wifi).
On the other hand I have a java application that should have access to GPS and mobile data without asking every time for the permission.
Where/How can I achieve this? Why have some applications always to ask when others have permissions for things they don't need for proper function?

According to the best of my knowledge you can only access suite settings and change them according to your preferences for certain applications only. To be able to do so, go to Menu> Settings> Installations> Already Installed the open it. From there, you can only change specific application settings and I know mostly java applications use this method. To check on which applications that you can access and change the settings place your finger to the desired application and hold it and when you see suite settings then you can change it settings. Usually when you hold to an application there is view details and delete but when you see the extra option that is suite settings then open suite settings and change them to your preferences.

I'm new to Oracle, we used to have one production and one test server for Oracle Application R12, but the test server was corrupted, so we decided to clone production server and create a new test server, after cloning and creation of test server, how should we do to change IP address, hostname and domain name for test server?
Our production and test server environment is:
Linux Enterprise AS 2.6.9
Application module: E-Business Suite Treasury only

Kenneth.tnsnames.ora is used only by client processes. listner.ora is used only to configure the listener, and that is a server side issue only. In addition, the listener can start without any listener.ora at all, using all default values. See my discussion of tns issues at edstevensdba.wordpress.com
If you are using dbcontrol, you will most likely need to reconfigure it, using the emca utility.
