Changes to OAF page not displaying on one computer but are on another

We made some changes to a link on one of our pages, The changes are not working correctly on my computer, however if someone else who hasn't been in the pages signs into the apps as me on their computer, it works correctly for them. We have cleared the framework cache, cleared my browser cache, made sure my browser settings are set for automatic for viewing new versions of stored pages, but nothing has helped. Does anyone have any suggestions on what else we can try?

Did you try clearing your java object cache on your machine? Settings -> Control Panel ->Java Control Panel->Temporary Internet Files ->Delete Files.

Win8.1 hard drive will not load in one computer but will in another

I have a HP s3707c (product FQ578AA-ABA, Software build 91NAv6PrA1). Win8.1. This computer got stuck in the "preparing automatic repair" loop and will not start windows. It freezes with the windows icon showing and no spinning circle of dots appear. I made a recovery USB and it will not start from it either. I thought that it might be a hard drive problem (or software), but the HP diagnostic test from hitting F9 on start up indicate that everything passes. I have a second computer that is the same type, so I took the hard drive out of the computer having problems and put it in the one that is not having problems. It started up just fine. I put the hard drive from the good computer into the one having problems and it still would not start up windows from the drve or from the recovery disk. Any suggestion on how I should proceed diagnosing the problem on this machine not starting up windows?

Hello D1P. I understand that the hard drive will work on one computer, but not another one. I do have to point out that the computer you pointed out (FQ578AA), does not have Windows 8.1 drivers, as indicated here. You should reference this document for more information: What if I don't see my operating system.
If you are interested in troubleshooting the issue under this environment, you can test the computer for hardware failures. If there is an error, this indicates that the computer could have a hardware failure. Otherwise, you are likely facing a compatibility issue.

Replacement Photosmart 6520 not installing on one computer but fine on another

I'm bewildered. I was having an issue with my 6520 not printing black ink, and was sent another (same model) printer as a replacement. On my Windows 8.1 laptop, it installed just fine. But on my Windows 7 desktop, the installation software cannot find the printer on the network. The HP Print and Scan Doctor found it, but was unable to print a test page. The printer is obviously on the network because the laptop can use it. The blue light is steady and reports connected to my network. I've manually entered the IP address but it remains invisible to this one computer. (Heck, my Android can access it!) I've disabled firewall,uninstalled and reinstalled twice, and am pretty frustrated right now. Anyone have a clue as to what's going on?

I understand you received a replacement printer, of the same model, and now you are having some difficulty installing it on your computer running Windows 7.
Have you tried the Printer Install Wizard (PIW)? The HP Printer Install Wizard for Window was created to help Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1 users download and install the latest and most appropriate HP software solution for their HP Printer.

IPod not recognised on one computer but OK on another

I manage a number of iPod nanos for my children on my PC (vista). In the last few days, one of them (pink nano)is not recognised by windows nor therefore in iTunes. I tried by 60GB iPod and had same problem. Plugged in my blue nano and works perfectly.
Tried pink nano on my laptop (xp) and works perfectly.
Using latest version of iTunes and PC fully updated.
On PC, pink nano does not appear under USB controllers, but under Other Devices as Apple iPod USB device (with exclamation mark). The device status is: The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
Can anybody shed any light on this please?

Ipod "usb device not recognised" on one computer but works with another!

I have a 60GB ipod video and a 2GB ipod nano. Both connect fine to itunes on my work laptop but will not connect to my home laptop. They have previously worked fine with the home laptop but now when conected the message "usb device not recognised one of the usb devices connected to the computrt has malfunctioned". I have tried reinstalling itunes several times and tried the usual reset of the ipods etc but nothing seems to work.

Ok, i bought the movie invincible on one computer but i just bought a new laptop and downloaded itunes. But now I cant get the movie to this laptop because i reported it once before. So it didnt work once and i reported it and now it wont come to my laptop but it wont let me report please help me.

Even though you are allowed a maximum of 5 authorized computers, you are only allowed to download purchased content once. You must use a flash drive, data discs, or some other secondary means to transfer purchased content to another computer.

Page not displaying on client computer

Hi I have developed a web site using CF and it works fine on
the test server - which happens to be a Win XP laptop which is
connected on a network.
The pages display fine on the laptop but if I try to browse
to the pages from amother computer on the network the pages do not
display.
I am using
http://192.168.0.3/sitename
- normally this works but for some reason this isnt working at
present.
I cant see why this isnt working at present.
Any ideas.

I have looked at most things but cant see why this would be
the case.

Batch process does not work in one service, but worked in another.

Hi Fellows,
We have here a batch process with a code encrypted, that runs daily in a production environment.
Tonight this batch process did not work.
It is expected that this process runs in about 20 seconds, but tonight this process used about 3 hours and did not finished.
We checked if it was concurrency, killed some sessions and tried again, and nothing has changed.
And then someone changed the service that this process uses, it was 'bat' and changed to 'dba'. And it worked succesfully in 11 seconds.

My email forms are not working with one website, but are for my others, all hosted by the same host....

I cannot get my email forms to work for one of my live sites... They work when I published to business catalyst, now they do not. I have contacted the host and they cannot seem to see the issue, as the other sites they host for me, the forms work just fine... Please help, I am about to punch a hole through my computer...

Whatever happened, it sounds like you need to reset your phone. As contacts and messages seem to have gone they would be lost anyway unless they were on the SD card and/or backed up using Nokia Suite.
I'd suggest you reset the phone by dialling *#7370# followed by the security code which is 12345 by default (is asked). The phone will reset and you should be able to use it again afterwards.

Ipod touch 3rdGen Not Recognized as device on one computer but ok on another

My 3rd gen ipod touch syncs fine on my son's desktop (windows xp) but won't sync on my laptop (also xp). It comes up as a camera on my laptop. I've tried following all the recomended solutions from apple. Used msconfig to mess with the services, as instructed. Did a software uprade on both computer and ipod for itunes and ios (5.1.1) but still won't come up as a device in itunes. I can't use my son's computer because I've got about 16gigs of songs that won't fit on his hard drive. I did sync to his itunes library to test it and it worked fine, but doesn't seem to work on my computer. Soooo ... obviously somehting in my computer setup. HELP. please.

IPod Corrupt in one Computer but Connect to Another

My 30GB 5th Gen Video iPod recently would not connect to my Windows 7 desktop. It freezes iTunes, but gives no message. If I unplug the iPod, iTunes then gives a message saying the drive is corrupted and asking if I want to reformat. Since the drive is disconnected, there is nothing to be had so I click okay and it returns me to my music library no problem. The odd thing is, I can plug my iPod into my Windows 7 laptop and it reads just fine with no error messages. I do not want to lose the data on the iPod as it has stuff not contained in my current library and this working in one system and not in the other, though it worked in the desktop up until a week ago, is just odd behavior. Any thoughts?

Flash Player 9 not working on one computer

I have two computers. Flash Player 9 is not working on one
computer but OK on the other. It fails using both IE 7 and Firefox

Here is what I suspect is the problem:
The certificate for the Shockwave plug that is needed for the
Flash player to play the content is invalid when the browser checks
for it. Maybe this is because it was originally issued by
macromedia.com and it is now adobe.com. I don't know and no one
from Adobe has responded to my e-mail about the problem as of yet.
Very frustrating as visitors to our web site using IE who
haven't recently updated their players will part of the movie but
it will not play properly or display any of the text. This happened
sometime within the last several days as far as I can tell.

BBC One Highlights page not displaying content of its panes

Why does the BBC One Highlights page not display the content of its panes?

There seems to be something up with their javascript that produces slightly different image url's than on other browsers.
Instead of something like this:

Login action buttons no longer work and some pages not displaying correctly after upgrade.

After recent update, some web pages not displaying correctly and Login buttons on some sites do not work. I've updated my plugins and restarted computer, but problems remains. Is this Java, Javascript or something else? Same pages are working fine in IE.

Pages not displaying properly in Publisher instances as we activated the page from Author. In author it is working well but in Pulisher it is showing first 2 lines of the page and then showing error as
Apache sling/2.2 Hot Spot ****** Sun OS error
Please help me on this.IS this issue with the templates or components are we using?

Ok, then let's go the long way and try to reduce the number of possible root causes:
1) Is your problem reproducible on this publish? (I suppose it is)
2) Is it reproducible on other publishs as well, which have received the same page with the same application?
3) Can you reproduce it on other replicated pages as well?
4) When you upload a page to such an affected publish via a content package, does this page render correctly?
5) Does this problem appear on other environments as well?
6) Do you use dispatcher when you get this result? Or do you get it when you request the page directly of CQ5?
7) What's the HTTP statuscode when you render this page? You can see it in the request.log of CQ5.
If you change logging via Felix Console, you don't need to restart the instance.
