Changing IP addresses in inventory record

Our Windows DHCP admin has set a lease of less than two weeks. Partly as a result of that many of our computers do not show up in Spiceworks with the correct IP address and seem not to scan. I have not been able to persuade our DNS admin to wipe the incorrect entries from the DNS tables and now I can't seem to coax or force the correct IP address into the Spiceworks record.
I have run http://spiceworksserver/fix from the workstations but the rescan does not pick up the correct IP address.
What can I do to get accurate workstation information from Spiceworks? I am guessing the incorrect information comes from DNS but I don't control that sadly.

ESS Change of Address REQUESTED process

I had ESS Change of Address working since 2003. Now, I am having issues. Don't know when something changed, but in last year.
Any answers to any questions would be appreciated and if I need to clarify, by all means, let me know and I will break it down. I see an OSS Server Message coming anyway...
When I org designed a Change of Address WF in 2003, a user would (Edit OR Delete) a record, then it would create 2 locked records, and send only 1 REQUESTED event to start my WFs. HR would verify new record, unlock new record would automatically delimit old, and all is golden.

Via Portal, user Edits address record, it creates 2 locked records in pa0006, and NOW it sends 2 ADDREMPUS->REQUESTED events. I think there is an oss note to stop 2 REQUESTED events in in srv pk 43.

Also, if our HR service center processes the new locked record, it is not automatically delimiting the old record. Can't navigate to it in PA30 because it is already delimited and it is causing a lot of locked records in system. Can't get to it using nav left / right button because it is delimited. From my notes, HR svr cntr should only see the new locked record, verifies, unlocks, then that action is supposed to delimte the old without HR actually unlocking both. This ring a bell?
2. I have the same issue with Delete, except it only starts 1 WF, when it locks. Still trying to figure out why 'sometimes' it does not lock or raise REQUESTED or locks and no REQUESTED event. Elusive little bugger!
3. 1 day rule? If HR unlocks all records and then user makes another change on same day as updated by HR personnel, I get a locked record and no REQUESTED event.
This is not working right!
OSS notes? And more importantly, is this indeed how this "supposed" to work?
We are on ecc6 and hr srv pk 604-41.

Change of address in CMR

here My client is asking change of address in Customer Master Record,. It is very is to change the address from A to B in XD02, for coming all the sales orders system will take the changed address B only, at the same time it is taking previous sales orders alsolike B only. But He is asking the addrss for that previous transaction as same as beforelike A only.

As per the SAP standard the previous sales orders or sales documents also(i.e which are having old address) will get updated with the new address.

Changing Delivery Address

After few minutes that I ordered laptop and 4 more items from Bestbuy online I realized the Delivery Address was incorrect so I search right away what to do and I read called within 30 mins, It was past 2 am but I still I called the number listed on your website to change the delivery address but as i suspected unfortunately you were close and no one is answering the phones and there was a recording saying you are not open until 6 am Central time... I stayed up and called at exactly 6 am Central Time, 4 am my time only to find out that the customer service guy who answered me cannot help me? I don't understand it since I am not really canceling the order I am just changing the address since I wont be in the address where it will be delivered. I know it was my mistake on the address but I corrected it right away I even emailed you guys 2X.
I have been a customer of Bestbuy for more than 8 years... I bought a lot of things from your store and I cant believe that your customer service cannot help me since I just ordered the items 2 hours ago.

The status of your order would ultimately determined whether or not the delivery address can be changed. HT1918 Change of address

I've changed my address on iTunes months ago, and I can see my updated address, but my old address is still on the record (when I get the receipt, it has my old address on it). I've also changed provinces, so I've had to pay HST instead of just GST. When I check my iTunes account, it has my new address on it. Any suggestions on getting this fixed?

I've just come back to your reply because I've just discovered why I do not get notifications: Apple still has my old defunct email address !
I've tried to change it, but tells me that the old address cannot be changed !!
So I tried to set it up as an alternative address.
Then it told me that it is verified for another Apple ID !! That is not possible - unless somehow it happened when I tried to set up an iTunes account, but gave up when it got too complicated.
But more to the point, I DO NOT want an iTunes account !! So where do I go from apart from leaving the Apple communities for good

SECATT not saving the screen for change of address in CAA2

When recording the transaction CAA2 using TCD(Record) in SECATT, the
screen for change of address in the main screen of CAA2 is not getting
saved. Therefore I am unable to run the script for change of address
The address can be changed (Fix any address other than standard address)
by using F4 function in the address field in the main screen.

Duplicate software inventory records ....

I am getting duplicate software inventory records for the same machine in the MAP 9.0 database. I was under the understanding that once a machine was successfully scanned, additional inventory records
for that machine would not be added during subsequent scans.
After 4+ scans, we are seeing the same software title show up multiple times on the same machine. For example, using
the product name of Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 as an example, I get a count of 405. But there is only about 250 unique computer names with this product. Some machines are listed twice, some triple, some quadruple just for this one
product (even if the ProductVersion is identical). We did 4 scans of the network in order to capture all machines, including any that hadn’t been inventoried. So I’m not sure why it captured some machines more than once and others only the one time.

Question: just to confirm, the de-duplication process (for generating standard pre-built reports/worksheets) in MAP 9.0 will NOT remove machines with different hashes, correct?

Question: does the issue you raise have anything to do with doing an AD only scan then an IP one (or the reverse) or would just a combined one (AD and IP) also lead to similar issues?
If you use one discovery method on the first inventory scan, then use a different discovery method that does not include the host name, such as IP address, on a subsequent run, it is possible that you will see duplicate results, although I've found it to
be less likely.
Question: Is any inventory data populated in MAP 9.0 for a machine that does not "successfully" complete its scan?
If you use the AD DS discovery method, then MAP will populate some information, such as OS, from fields in the AD object properties.

Can you be more specific. Where will it show up? (i.e. in which MAP reports)?
The Inventory Results report has a list of all host names discovered. If IP discovery was used, then any IP address that had something connected to that IP but MAP was unable to establish a connection to will show up with the IP address for the computer
name in that report as well. There are several other reports throughout the tool that display machines for which MAP failed to connect, but the Inventory Results report is what I was referring to specifically.

BUPA / EBPP might not help
My aim is to update ADRC table.
I have found a couple of FMs that has to be followed in an Order :
For inserting an Record :
1) ADDR_INSERT
2) ADDR_NUMBER_GET
3) ADDR_MEMORY_SAVE
4) ADDR_MEMORY_CLEAR
For Updating :
1) ADDR_UPDATE
2) ADDR_MEMORY_SAVE
3) ADDR_MEMORY_CLEAR
But i don't know what to fill for address_handle !!
How do i use these FMs??

I would just follow the instructions from this article to give your unused 4s to your spouse. Since you have already started using your 5s, you will still be receiving iMessages on that phone and will have no need to receive them on a device that has been replaced. AddressBook - Is there a way to change multiple addresses at the same time?

To be clear....I have 25 contacts at 1 company and that company moved.
Is there a way to link the cards together so that when I change the address on one card it automatically updates the other 24 cards?? Rather than having to change each contact individually, which is time consuming and annoying.
I have created a "Smart Group" for the company and all of the contacts place themselves in the group but it still won't sync the addresses.
Can someone tell me how to do this, if it's even possible? And if it's not, I really wish it was!!

Open your Photos App > Camera Roll > At the top right corner you will see a rectangle with a right arrow, select that. Now you can select as many photos as you want and you can hit the red Delete button on the bottom right.

Ipad will connect no problem to other networks.

First thing you need I think is to get your iMac connected to the Internet.
Shut down your iMac and you iPad. Then power off your router. Wait 30 seconds and power up the router.
After the router indicates that it is connected to the Internet then start up your iMac and see if it connects. If the iMac connects to the Internet then your iPad should too.
If this power up sequence doesn't work you'll have to dig into the router setup to make sure it is working properly.

Is there a way to change the addresses used in an existing iMessage thread?

This is kind of a multi-part question. Let me describe my scenario.
I have many iMessage threads with other iPhone users where the "reply" addresses for one or both ends are the phone *numbers* instead of AppleID email addresses. (This could be due to a number of factors... either they had their "Start new conversations from" address set to their phone number, and/or they started a new conversation with me sending it to my phone number. How it *got* that way doesn't really matter). I want to be able to change the addresses of the conversation to AppleID's (so that I'll still get messages when I change SIM cards, among other reasons).
With iOS 8's new ability to add/remove people from conversations, I thought I would be able to add the AppleID address and remove the phone number address, but there are two problems with that: 1) iOS 8 seems to only allow this for conversations which began as multi-person conversations, and 2) it doesn't seem to want to let you add addresses for people who are already recipients via another address (in other words, if Alice is already on the conversation via her phone number, I can't add her AppleID to the conversation). I guess I could remove the person first, and then re-add them with the other address... but I'd feel safer if I could add the next one before removing the first one.
I know I could just tell the other person to delete our thread and start a new one, but I don't want to lose all of our dialogue and pictures (and I don't want to have to manually save it).
So, the questions:
Is there a way to change the address my counterparty is sending to when they make further replies to our conversation?
Is there a way to change the address I send to when I make further replies to the conversation?
Is there a way to change the default address to use when trying to send someone an iMessage? (What I'm after here is a way to craft my "contact" entry in people's phones so that, when they try to send a message to me and start typing my name, my preferred address comes up on top).
As it looks like the only way to do this might be to use iOS 8's method of adding/removing recipients, is there a way of converting a two-person conversation into a multi-person one?

I think I may have solved it, actually. I find that if I switch the timecode to NDF in the source viewer, it seems to work. I have tried it on three clips and they have sync'd without problems. Hopefully this will continue to be the case.

How can I change email address RIM sends mail to?

I have two emails, one that's strictly friends and family, and one for everything else. A while back I changed the "everything else" address to gmail. Although I've never submitted my personal address to RIM (other than setting up that email on my phone), they've begun spamming my personal mail with daily "notifications." I don't mind getting the mail, but 1. I don't want it coming to my personal address, and 2. I find it very disturbing that RIM harvested my personal account info to use at their convenience. I see in the emails I receive I can "unsubscribe," although they'll still send me mail they deem important. I don't want that, I want to give them my new everything address, so they'll stay out of my personal acct. I have thoroughly searched their site, but see no way to submit this new address, or to set up my acct preferences for my interaction with RIM. Please tell me how to change my address with RIM, or to at least contact them, not about my phone, but about their service (there doesn't appear to be any such option among the "Contact Us" selections they offer). Notifications of what?
I promise you, from all I've seen, you would have had to check a box in something stating you want to receive updates, etc., from BlackBerry. They certainly haven't "harvested" your email address from simply being loaded to your BlackBerry.
You need to unsuscribe from the current emails you're getting. Even if you don't want to.
You probably downloaded an OS or file update or Desktop Software somewhere that you clicked to agree to receive updates.

Can't change MAC address of my wireless card on Windows XP

Dear Forum Members,
I have recently bought a notebook, Lenovo IdeaPad G550L (I haven't found section for the G series here on the forum) and would like to use its WiFi adapter (BCM4310 according to Everest) with explicitly changed MAC address. I installed the recommended driver, available from Lenovo's website, version 5.10.38.14. I tried the common way to change the MAC address, went to Control Panel -> Network Interfaces -> Broadcom Wireless Network Adapter -> Configure... -> Advanced -> Locally administered MAC address, and changed it to a different address (without ":" or any separator characters). Unfortunately this common solution won't work at all. Although, no error messages are produced when changing it (so it seems successful) my wireless router shows me the original MAC address of my integrated wifi card. Tried to restart my computer, my router, everything.
* Tried different drivers, downloaded a driver from HP which had a separate wireless configurator, Broadcom Wireless Utility. It worked like the driver from Lenovo (except this one hasn't got the utility), but I was still unable to change my MAC address.
* Tried a different driver from SoftPedia, version 5.10.79.14 (this is newer than Lenovo's), it didn't work either.
* Tried Nathan True's MACShift utility. It seemed to change the MAC address, but my router showed the original, so it didn't.
* Tried to look for official Broadcom drivers on www.broadcom.com but found nothing for BCM4310.
* Finally, I booted my alternative OS, the latest Ubuntu Linux, and used the kernel driver b43 for my wireless adapter. I tried to change my MAC address using the command ifconfig wlan0 hw ether .... and connected to my network. It worked, my router showed the changed MAC so the hardware (or the firmware) is capable of doing this by the right driver/firmware.
I tried to address Broadcom with the issue, sent them a letter like this post they replied that they are not competent, they wrote the following (I guess this was an automatically generated message because it got back in 10 seconds ) from [email protected]:
"As the chipset supplier, Broadcom provides driver support to our customers - the manufacturers of wireless devices - that ultimately provide products to end customers, such as wireless LAN vendors, cable modem vendors, and notebook providers. It is up to these manufacturers to provide product-specific drivers and software support to their end customers. Please contact the manufacturer of your wireless device for their current drivers"
Then I addressed Lenovo with the problem, their answer:

Thank you for contacting Lenovo, the makers of ThinkPad and ThinkCentre products. So this means I should call them and spend extra money for phone bill of international calls because of their fault of providing a basic feature that is to be expected from every single wireless card in the market. Should I believe that a guide over the phone is more efficient than a step-by-step solution or a link to an alternative driver? I'm getting kind of disappointed. At least they have understood (or copy-pasted) my problem, dutch comfort though.
Any ideas? Anyone experienced the same problem and solved it? Is there an official (or even unofficial) driver for this device for Windows XP that allows me this basic feature (like b43 in Linux)?

Yes, I have posted this thread to different forums after I realized that Lenovo "customer care" is not likely to help me out and even wirelessforums.org members couldn't come up with any ideas for days, that's why. I have already written that helper applications like SMAC (or etherchange or macshift) don't work, because they do the same thing in the system as I change it in the driver panel, so they use the same method which simply does not work.
Locked? Definitely not. If yes, why can I change the MAC of my adapter under Ubuntu Linux using b43 open-source driver if it's really locked? Or you mean it's locked from software, because Lenovo or Broadcom didn't want their users to change their MACs or they just forgot to release a fully-functional driver? Well, then I would like to have a driver in which it's not locked, because this is a basic feature of my adapter of which the hardware is capable.
I have already contacted Broadcom, see their (automatically-generated) answer in my initial post, but I will try to do that again with more foresight.
