Changing Layout and RFC used in MSS Attendance Overview iview

Hi There,
We are using HTMLB based MSS iviews and need to change layout and information on Attendance overview screen. We got required PAR file and i can create a project based on this PAR as well.
Now i see so many errors due to missing import, even com.sapportals.html* based import statements are indicated as error..
If i have missed out something during import of this par file, how can i correct it now.

We have a situation where some managers see all days in a month while other managers see only weekdays. I have not had any luck finding any configuration that might control this.
Any thoughts?
In addition, is there any place to configure what colors are displayed and to control how they are determined?

I am working on upgrade project from 4.6C to ECC6.0. On transaction FBL3N report change layout and save layout icons not active; only select layout icon is active.
Please advise how these two icons can be activated.

The object F_IT_ALV has a field, the activity ACTVT, which can
contain four permitted values: 01, 02, 03 and 70.
Activity 03 corresponds to the minimum authorization, which is the
most restricted one: You can only select layouts which have
been configured already. In particular, all of the other functions
named above are inactive with activity 03.
I guess that your user-id have set activity 03 for this object.
The SAP notes 374656 and 409190 are recommended.
So, if the values 01 and 02 are not included, then
the user can't change and save layouts.
For the line item display in FI the authorization
object FI_IT_ALV has been created as an extra security check in addi-
tion to the ALV authorization object S_ALV_LAYO.
Please check note 374656 where you should be able to find
relevant info about this. Also note 637554 should be helpful.

FBL3N change layout and save layout icons not active

You are missing an authorization object in your user profile. Run FBL3N and then run SU53 to see which auth obj is missing. Then send those details to your Security.

Change pointers and RFC

Hi All,
Is it possible to implement change pointers without creating idocs, but with only RFC's.
Actaully i am goign through aproject document which says the interfaces are implemented using change pointers and BADI's.I was in a understandign that there would be idocs created to communicate the master data changes to other systems.
But one of the person who involved in the interface development said that there are no idocs related involved related to the interfaces, its all RFC's enabled.
Can anyone please let me know if change pointers can also be implemented using RFC.

this is described sufficiently in SAPHELP - in a nutshell:
Changepointers - as the name says - point at changes (change documents). Therefore the creation is together with change documents (at the end of FM CHANGEDOCUMENT_CLOSE.
Chane pointers are created for ALE message types (tcode WE81). This does not mean, that any ALE message has to follow - there might be another subsequent action.
Writing of CP must be enabled with BD50. With BD52 the tables/fields are customized. Precondition is, that the data element of the table field is enabled for change documents and that change documents are created. BADI
BDCP_BEFORE_WRITE allows further refinement (or any other action triggerd by the change). Note that both - change documents and CP - are created in update task - so you have to activate update debugging to see it in debug.
Storage of CP is in table BDCP2 (since release 7.00 former releases use BDCP and BDCPS). Read pointers with FM CHANGE_POINTERS_READ and set them to processed with CHANGE_POINTERS_STATUS_WRITE. If more than aprox. 1 Mio. pointers are read an overflow may occur - use CHANGE_POINTERS_READ_MODE_SET to set an appropriate block size and CHANGE_POINTERS_READ_INFO_GET to stirr the further processing. All FM are documented sufficiently.

MSS Attendance Overview Error

I am simply trying to view the Attendance Overview application in MSS, straight out of the box. The customizing in R/3 has been carried out, but I am getting an error in the portal that says:
"com.sap.pcuigp.xssfpm.java.FPMRuntimeException: No property defined with ID TEAMGROUP".
When I run the test program in RPTARQUIATEST in R/3, I receive no errors. Therefore, this leads me to believe that the error lies within the portal, and not within anything in R/3.
Even when I do a "Preview" of this iview I am getting the error, yet I can find nowhere a property is set to value "TEAMGROUP".
Any ideas? Thank you much!

Thank you for your response. I really appreciate it. The Org Assignment in infotype 0001 is maintained for all employees in the group who should appear in the Attendance Overview. However, I'm not familiar with the Group field and the Agent. Are these also on infotype 0001? I can't seem to find them.

Manager is unable to view all subordinate employees in attendance, he can only view direct subordinate employees on MSS. please advise on how to make manager view all employees in attendace.

MSS Status overview iview Objective Settings & appraisals

Hi All,
Currently the status overview Iview of MSS for appraisals display all the employees(in org unit) irrespective of whether the employee/appraisee has existing documents. This is because this Iview also has the functionality of creating the appraisal documents from here.
In our case we don't create appraisal documents from this Ivew, so we hide the "In Preparation".
Now the question is we want to filter the employees and display only those who has appraisal documents already created. How could we achive this?
All we need is: We wanted to give an view to higher level manager with all the employees who has apprisal documents in completed status and he need to just approve/reject. Is there any other way we can achive this with out using the Status Overview Iview. I am not able to locate any bsp which serves this purpose from HAP_DOCUMENT.
Please adive me, how can I achive this.

Best Practices for image layout and positioning using anchored frames in Framemaker 10

I'm looking for the best practices in how to layout my images in Framemaker 10 so that they translate correctly to Robohelp 9. I currently have images inside of Anchored frames that "Run into" the right side of my text. I've adjusted the size of the anchored frame so that my text flows correctly around the image. Everything looks good in Framemaker! Yeah! The problem is that when I link my Framemaker document to Robohelp, the text does not flow around my image in the same manner. On a couple of Robohelp screens the image is running into the footer. I'm wondering if I should be using tables in Framemaker in order to get the page layout that I'm looking for. Also, I went back and forth...is this a Framemaker question or is this a Robohelp question. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I wish I could offer some advice, rather than simply adding to your question. I think there is something odd that happens with anchored frames.
I have been going through fits trying to figure out why the placement of my graphics shifts when I run them through Frame 10-to-RoboHelp 9 conversion. The placement in our books is flush left to the body text area. However, when they convert, some are flush left, some are centered, and a very few are flush right. My boss is very unhappy with me, as I have been unable to figure out why this is happening. I didn't create these files, so I don't know if it's something that goes back to how the graphics were initially imported. But I can't figure out why everything looks right in Framemaker, with the frame attached to an anchor tag, etc. but the placement goes hinky when they convert.
Any insights are appreciated. I'm wondering if it's going to come down to deleting them and recreating the graphic frame.

Cannot change tools and cannot use selection or crop tools

I am using Photoshop Extended CS6. A new problem has started to occur recently. I can select a tool, but I can't change the tool type. For example, I can select the Lasso Tool and when I right-click the tool fly-out appears, but I cannot select a tool from the fly-out to change the tool type. The editing tools, at least the ones I can select, still work except for the selection and crop tools. For the crop tool, the crop lines appear at the edge of the image but they cannot be moved. For the selection tools, nothing is selected. I can still use menu commands such as Canvas Size.
This happens when I open a file or start a new file. I have Windows 7, 4G memory and nothing else running. I have tried 32-bt and 64-bit versions.
This has happened intermittently for a month or two. In the past, freeing up space on a hard drive seemed to help. But now I have 50G free on one drive and 30G free on another so I don't see how that could be the problem. Rebooting allows me to use the crop tool once, but then the problem reoccurs.
Ideas, anyone?

No keyboard macro programs installed. Microsoft Security Essentials is installed. It says it is up to date and there are no problems. A keyboard test program found no problems. I have tried two USB keyboards with the same results I have 10% free on my system drive: and 15% free on my second drive.
More clues:
If I open Photoshop by opening a file, the problem immediately occurs. If I open Photoshop and then open a file, it works until I press a key as described above.
The problem only occurs in Photoshop. I’ve tried lots of other programs, including Premiere, Audition and Illustrator; they all work correctly.
The problem can occur without a keyboard attached. As I described above, if I switch to another application (Windows Explorer in my test) and then switch back, the problem occurs. This is true even if there is no internal keyboard and no USB keyboard.

User saves query view (web) with changed layout and opens default layout...

We are implementing the new (7.0) web template and the portal. One of my users is experiencing the following:
He runs a webquery, changes the layout in the desired format and does a save as in both My Portfolio/Bex Portfolio.
When he opens this "changed" view (both My Portfolio, Bex Portfolio) the default format/layout is openened.
When i open the view he created in Bex Portfolio i do see the changed format/layout ...
We put an authorization trace on his uid -> no result. Went through the loggings both on ABAP as well as Java stack -> no result.
Has anyone an idea what is happening.

I am not able to reproduce the issue with a copy user with same authorisation.
The issue also appears if more (mine) authorisation is granted to the user. I am not experiencing this issue

I can't read the text on my toolbar after changing personas, and unchecking "use text color" doesn't do anything even if I change personas.

Several personas come with unreadable text and accent color. This article explains how to resolve the issue:

However, when I followed the directions, the text colors did not stay the same as I switched personas.

If you have installed a persona then the default text color and background color of the toolbars are defined by that persona.<br />
The colors of the currently selected persona are stored as the first entry in the pref <b>lightweightThemes.usedThemes</b> as textcolor and accentcolor.
You can edit that pref and set another value for the "textcolor":"#ffffff" part (e.g. "textcolor":"#000000").

Names of column appearing in alv output after changing layout in alvgrid?

Hi all
I have a requirement where I am displaying 20 fields using alv grid(cl_gui_alv_grid). Now each time when I run I can change layout and can display any number of columns in output using change layout option.
My requirement is i need to know the column names of the fields which are displayed upon changing layout in output. Using this column names I have to write some logic in code. Each time number of column may vary as per the user selection. Is there any method or way to get the names of columns selected in output display?
Please help me in this regard.

I checked the notes, first two are valid if the graph is not displayed at all. The last note discusses the problem with Team Calendar.
We are facing the issue with Attendance Overview. The graph is getting displayed. But instead of pink color (for open leave requests), dark blue color gets displayed, with dark black lines around it.
If there are no open requests, graph gets displayed correctly. Please suggest the solution.
