Changing logo image in search page

Would you please to help me.
I'm using SES 11.1.2 on SuSE Linux SLES 10.
I would like to change the logo image in search page.
I have followed step by step in:

when I reach the step:
create skinBundle NAME=example INPUT_FILE=example.xml --ATTACHMENT_
LIST=example.lst
I get error:
the attachment file "assets/images/example.gif" which path is "/scratch/skins/example/assets/images/example.gif" in the list file doesn't exist ( It is my translation from French)
I have created the directory:
/opt/oracle/seshome/example/templates
/opt/oracle/seshome/example/assets/images
/opt/oracle/seshome/scratch/skins
and i have put example.gif in the /opt/oracle/seshome/example/assets/images directory all the oter steps
I just would like to change only the OracleLogo.
PLEASE HELP ME.

Bug? Can't change an image on a page. CS3 on Windows 7

Anyone able to do this or replicate the issue in Dreamweaver on Windows 7?
I'm running CS3 & Windows 7 64-bit.
Problem: If you go to change an existing image on a page using the browse for file folder icon the image will not update by simply selecting the new image and clicking ok.
If you physically type in the file name in the file name field or even just type and delete a character it will work, but without doing that it will not make any changes.
UPDATE: I also found out that this is only if it's in the same directory. Browsing outside the current folder and then going back in seems to work.

No, just running it regularly. For the most part everything seems to behave pretty well, but I've only been getting back into it for a day or so. I'm sure after a couple weeks I'll stumble across some more quirks.
Yeah I guess it's more of an unsupported compatibility thing than a bug.
I realize that Adobe chooses not to support their CS3 software on Windows 7. I don't agree with it though. I mean we're talking about a year old software package that isn't cheap. I'd hope they put out some form of updates for existing CS3 users to patch up the little things that emerge with W7, but I doublt we'll see that. Running CS3 on Vista for me was a nightmare and I muscled through it with almost daily CS3 crashes from DW & Illustrator.
I'm happy to report CS3 has not crashed yet on Windows 7 for me, and seems to perform better. Time will tell though.

When I open my AOL mail in Firefox, the message opens then changes to the Bing search page.

I can see the message for a few seconds, then the screen blinks and I am looking at the search page where the email should be. This only seems to be happening on one of my computers and it does not happen in other browsers.

This sounds like a known issue reported here:

There was a workaround posted, but I've not tested it myself. Here are the steps.
# Go into Yahoo Messenger Options - Change the Window in the dropdown to Tab and press OK.
# Then go back and switch it to small window and press OK.
Once the bug is officially resolved, you could try running a Nightly or Aurora build to use the fix early.

Changing background image of web-page

I'm having problems changing the background image on the web-page. I want to use a custom image (one which I own.) But when I use the Page Inspector function to change it - it only changes the bottom half of the page with my custom image. The top half is the original iWeb template. I've tried adjusting the page size numbers, but the image simply does not move up! What's up with that? How can I change the entire background of the page to use my custom image? I feel like it should be a lot easier than it seems.

The Darkroom is one theme that can't be user modified. You would be best served to create a blank page in the Darkroom theme, make a screenshot of the background w/o the spotlight in the center (a slice about 800 x 50 pixels would work well) and use it for the browser background in the Black theme so you get the white/light color navbar text.

Problems adding logo/image.

Hi,
I have tried to create a logo/image for all pages within my application, however still receive the red cross broken image symbol.
1) uploaded the image for my application using the shared components tool.
2) Logo is set to: logo.gif
logo attributes is: #APP_IMAGES#logo.gif
any suggestions?

Right click on broken image and copy link location (in firefox this is the option).
Now place that link in URL bar to see if image is comming...
Change the value in URL until you get the picture...look then what is wrong...
This must lead to success...place the URL here so maybe there is something easy...
P.S.
Look in manuals what is WORKSPACE_IMAGES AND APP_IMAGES referencing. Try to place in images dir (/i/) that file and call it with #IMAGE_PREFIX#logo.gif (case sensitive call)-this should show logo.
P.S. II
Logo will be shown on every page. So it is not smart to put it in database. Better use #IMAGE_PREFIX# location on pure Apache file system.

Logo image not displayed in PDF preview in HFR Studio reports

Hello All
I need to display a logo image on every page of an hfr report. The logo is visible in web-preview and print preview. But when the report is run in PDF preview, logo is not visible.
A header text box is also used which visible in all formats but not the logo.
Any pointers will be greatly appreciated.

The image is a jpg image. I have also tried using and image already saved in hfr's repository.
But still I'm not able get the image in pdf format of report*
The same image is visible in web-preview and print preview*
I don't think issue is because of position of image because I tried including the image in an empty report as well.
The problem is still there with the pdf preview*
Is there something else that could be done to display the image in pdf preview of report????

How do I keep a page as my home page when dragging icon to left of URL to house image & confirming that I want it as home page works only for current session, so when Firefox next opened, I end up with some stupid search page which McAfee doesn't like?

A couple of days ago, I connected to the Internet as usual & opened Firefox, only to be greeted by an almost blank screen with a Google-type search box in the middle & this message from McAfee:
"Your default search settings have changed. This may pose a security risk. Would you like to restore them to McAfee Secure Search to provide a safer searching experience?"
instead of my usual home page (BT Yahoo). I naturally clicked on the "Yes" option in the message, but rather than restoring my BT Yahoo home page, all that did was to insert the McAfee logo to the left of the search box in the top right-hand corner of the screen. The first time it happened, I had to search for the BT Yahoo page & then followed the standard procedure for setting it again as my home page. It worked only for that session: each time I shut down Firefox or restarted my computer after that, all I got was the blank "search page" & restoring the previous session was the only way to get back to BY Yahoo. How on earth do I make the home page setting permanent?
As far as I'm aware, I have done nothing to alter my search settings. However, I am anything but computer-literate, so I may have done/pressed something without realising it, but trying to understand what is now happening is far beyond my limited IT skills.

See McAfee support to find out how to disable that McAfee feature - that isn't part of the normal Firefox installation.

The first step would be to replace the Oracle SES Logo in the upper left by another image.

The image is called enterprise_mediumbanner.gif and can be found in
%ORACLE_HOME%\oc4j\j2ee\OC4J_SEARCH\applications\search_query\query\images or the equivalent. You could replace the gif with another having the same name.
But the "official" way of customizing the search page is to create a web services application which gives you complete control.

That was removed from Pages 5 by Apple along with over 90 other features.
Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder.

How to change the image of af:activeImage, in a Page Template, on click

I am using jdeveloper 11g.
I designed a page template that contains a <af:activeImage> component. I use this component with <af:showPopupBehaviour> to show a popup when it is clicked.
I want to change the image of <af:avtiveImage> when it is clicked at the runtime. Is it possible to do this in a page template? How can I do this?

Substitution strings are meant to be static, like global constants.
If you need some variable stuff, use application level items and set them using Application level computations/processes

Browse to source image not letting me change images on a page

So - say I have an image on a page; let's call it "one.jpg". If I want to replace it with "two.jpg", I would normally just click the little folder icon in the properties menunext to the Src field, and choose the new image. Done it a million times.
But now when I do that - the image doesn't change (that is to say - the name in the "Src" field remains the same, as does the image on the page). I can manually type in "two.jpg" or I can use the little "point to file" thing next to the folder icon - but no dice doing a simple browse image.
The browse image function works normally when putting in an image for the first time - it's just when I want to change the image that this happens (or rather - doesn't happen). Anyone experienced this?

"Browse to file" not updating existing images or links is a well known bug in CS4.

The workarounds are:
1) type the filename (as you have found) but that's a painful productivity killer
or
2) after clicking "Browse to file", browse up or down a folder level first then browse back to the new image that you want to change to. This "wakes" Dreamweaver up so that the correct file and path is changed.
No patch was ever issued for CS4 for this issue but it is fixed in CS5.

I had that too. On the bottom right of the AVG search page is a link which leads you to where you can switch it off. This restores normal Speed Dial operation.
This hijacking has really cheesed me off. I've just downloaded Avast and am going to put it on in place of AVG.

Change the logo image in a seeded template

My application adopts template "Tabs (2) no left nav1". I want to change the logo image of the template to my own one. How to do that?
I have uploaded the image to Image Repository by Utilities wizard. And found the following text in editing "Tabs (2) no left nav1" template:

But what shuld I change #IMAGE_PREFIX# to? what's the substitution string for Image Repository?

Just found there is a minor overlook on the documention:
"...First, we need to include the substitution string #WORKSPACE_IMAGE# referring to the location ..."
It's missing "S" after IMAGE, should be #WORKSPACE_IMAGES#
