Changing passwords on iTunes

someone put apps on my phone for me but i cant get their email off my phone if i try to download a app...i can i sync my phone up and remove their email off my phone or do they have to sync it to their comp and take it off????

Hello, Welcome to Apple Discussions.
If you go to the iTunes menu bar and click store. Are you signed onto their account or yours?
If you are signed on as them, sign out. Sync iphone. This should then remove the Apple ID off the iPhone.
Now go back to Store - Login with your own Apple ID and sync an App you downloaded or a free song you downloaded from iTunes to the iPhone. Your Apple ID should now be on the iPhone.
If there is no Apple ID signed on, Sign in with yours, again sync a free app or song over and your Apple ID should carry over replacing the one on iPhone.

Hi Changed my password two months ago but kept my AppleId but now my apps won't update anymore "Verbinding met iTunes Store Mislukt" I can buy new apps and music but exisiting ones before change of password will not update.

icloud just keeps bringing up my old email address & asking for my old password which doesn't exist anymore and when I try to sign out of icloud it wants my old password, when I tried to change my primary email back to the old one it wants me to verify it through an email address that doesn't exist. Please can you help me sort out this nightmare.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that you updated your Apple Id and password but now you are being prompted for the old information in iCloud. You are on the right track by changing the Apple ID back to the previous email address temporarily so that you can sign out. You should not need to verify the email address. After you edit the Apple ID back to the old email address and then sign out of iCloud on your iPhone, edit the Apple ID back to the address you would currently like to use. There is no need to change the password again, only the email address, unless you prefer to update the password again.
If you're asked for the password to your previous Apple ID when signing out of iCloud - Apple Support
Change your Apple ID temporarily
If signing out and back in to iMessage or FaceTime didn't help, try these steps:
Change your Apple ID to the Apple ID you used previously. You shouldn't need to verify the email address.
Tap Settings > iCloud. Complete these steps only if the Find My [Device] setting is turned on:
Scroll down and tap Sign Out, then tap Sign Out to confirm. If you're using iOS 7 or earlier, tap Delete Account, then tap Delete to confirm.
Tap Keep on My [Device] or Delete from My [Device]. In either case, your data remains in iCloud and will be updated on your device when you sign in to iCloud again.
Enter the password for your previous Apple ID.
Change your Apple ID to the new email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
Return to Settings > iCloud and sign in with your new Apple ID.

When I go to update my apps on itunes, it says my account has been disabled. I've done everything I know to do to no avail. I've changed passwords, I've done it all about a hundred times, but I can't get to the bottom of it...HELP Please :)

I am about to pull my hair out. My itunes account has been disabled............or at least that's what it says everytime I want to update my apps....I can't do it. Then it sends me to a useless web address www.apples.com/itunes/storesupport/forassistance it never helps me. I've changed my password, etc. But I can't get my apps updated or the "Apple" in the sky to fix it...I don't know where to go for customer service....Any suggestions?

I updated the software on my iphone4 tonight and ran into this same endless loop - "itunes terms & conditions have been changed" - go to itunes, aceept - back to the "T&C have been changed message" with no ability to do anything in the app store until I accepted the new terms.
While not a very direct solution, I was able to finally accept the terms in a way that seem to register with apple by making a purchase through iTunes on my computer. This forced me through updating my payment information and updating my iTunes software to the latest edition (which I had not yet taken the time to do). After doing both of these, iTunes took me through the terms & conditions on two separate pages, but ultimately allowed me to purchase my song. Once I completed these steps, it fixed the problem on my phone, so now I can update my apps and download new ones without running into that loop.

What can I do password security does not match my birthdate on two of the accounts. Apple can not send me email with a password authorization on several current accounts that I have with them. settings - app/iTunes store - sign out and sign back in with your new id.
Note - if your older apps needs an update it will use your old apple id and password, as Apps are tied to the apple id that was used to purchase it.
You can't merge apple id.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select

Now when I use my Iphone, Ipad, it asks for the password for the old username. when I type the password for that old user name, it says it's invalid. I figured I needed to delete the old Icloud account from my Iphone and Ipad, but they ask for the old password for the Old username. I type it in and it says invalid. As of now, I can't use Icloud or Itunes on either the Ipad or Iphone.... Help!

If the old ID ("username") is an earlier version of your current ID, temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

My Iphone 4 is telling me the same thing and I believe I figured out what the problem is. I had some fraudulent charges on my itunes account, so I call my bank and disputed the charges. Right after I did that, I started getting the message "Your apple ID has been disabled." I just realized today that the charges are not fraudulent, they are "in app purchases." One of my daughters downloaded the game Top Girl which is FREE, but in the game Top Girl you use money in the game to purchase things. It just so happens that the money you use to purchase things is real money MY Money!!!. My daughter thought she was using play money in the game and had no idea she was using real money. She spent $106.00 buying stuff. Now I have to call the bank and tell them to release the hold and pay Itunes. I'm hoping this solves the problem. Not Stupid! I should have been more specific. I'm still new to iphones. I changed my itunes password and ID at the itunes store my computer. I'm not having problems with my email. I'm having problems downloading and updating apps (probably music as well). After it asks for the password, a message comes up saying my itunes store password is incorrect. It works on line though. I changed my password on Airport Express and now can't connect in iTunes. It does not ask for password ,I just see trying to connect and it fails. How do I enter new password in iTunes when it just keeps trying to connect ?

When I select the Airport Express as Remote Speaker in Itunes I just see trying to connect and it can't connect.
I changed my password on the Airport and I don't see where I can put in the new password in Itunes.
This problem is on my Imac. On my Mac Pro a window came up asking for password to connect because it was the first time.

Update on my problem connecting in Itunes with my Airport Express. Not sure if anything I tried made a difference
but I finally got the Pop up window saying this device requires a Password. I entered the password and I can once again use the Airport Express as a remote speaker.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
    1.    Start here (change country if necessary) and navigate to 'Password and Security', reset your security questions using the link provided, you will receive an email to your rescue address, use the link in the email and reset your security questions.
    2.    If that doesn't help, you don't receive a reset email or you don't have a rescue address, you should contact AppleCare who will initially try to assist you with a reset email or if unsuccessful will pass you to the security team to reset your security questions for you.
    3.    If you are in a region that doesn't have international telephone support try contacting Apple through iTunes Store Support.
