Changing Purchase Info Record

Hi,
I've  a requirement to update a Purchase info record with a new condition. Can any one suggest me a bapi or a FM to update an existing PIR with new condition.
I've tried FMs : ME_DIRECT_INPUT_INFORECORD and ME_DB_UPDATE_INFORECORDS but found out that these FMs and mass change transaction MEMASSIN are helpful for updating Purch org data. & general data.
I'll appreciate any help in this regard.

  • How to change the Qty Conversion on a Purchase Info Record.

    I am trying to change the Quantity Conversion for a particular Purchase Info Record as it is incorrect.  The inputs are greyed out on the Purchasing Organization1 Data Screen.   I have also gone to the Conditions screen and the Menu Selection is greyed out when I go to the Menu for EXTRAS->Conversion Factors.  The Conversion Factor has been changed at the Additional Data Screen of the Material Master.   Any help would be greatly apprectiated.  Thanks in Advance.

    I have solved this problem.    From the Condition Record I went to the Menu Path, GOTO->ADDITIONAL DATA.  From here I was able to go to the Conversion Factor and make the changes.

  • Mass Change Of Vendor Code in Purchasing Info Records

    Hi All,
    I have one query and I already search a lot for it but didn't find any specific solutions.
    I want to change a vendor code in around 1000 Purchasing Info Record, I had already tried for Mass Maintenance Through T. Code - MEMASSIN, But I found Vendor field in New Values as Grey Field.
    Is there any other way to mass change of Vendor in Purchasing Info Records.
    Why vendor field is showing me as a grey Field?

    Pl correct me if i am wrong....EINA-RELIF field is to check and uncheck for regular vendor...It will not change the vendor ID...
    EINA-LIFNR...is the field to change vendor no.., but i can not see this field name is not there in the table...
    Still i think that we can not change the vendor id's once it is created for Info record...
    Pl correct me if am wrong.

    We are trying to change the Purchase Info Records using BDCs. We have about 20 condition records to change. Not all condition records change all the time. How can we use page control to identify the particular condition records that we want to change.

    The BDC that we are trying to build will have the changes. For ex: When we created the info record (using a BDC) we had 15 condition records. This is coming from an external source.
    Now, there has been a change in the pricing (outside the system). This is communicated from the external system. We need to pinpoint which condition types to update in SAP, based on the values in the external system through the BDC.

    I have a requirement to change some values in existing purchasing info records. I was looking for a BAPI or a Function Module to do this and performed a search in SE37, but could not find any. Does anyone know about a BAPI or Function Module by which I can maintain a Purch. Info record? Thanks for your time.

    If you are looking to have the users maintain the PIR data,  you don't really need programming to do mass maintenance of PIRs.   I have found that the MEMASSIN transaction is very helpful when changing PIRs in mass.  Maybe this will work for you.

  • Mass change of text in purchase info record.

    Hi All,
    For purchasing info record, we have maintained copying rules to adopt text from material master.  In copying rule for info record, we have maintained Fixed indicator for material master text "Purchase Order Text."  The texts copied to info records from material master is having status fixed.
    The problem is, since text is having fixed indicator it is not copying to PO unless we make change or adopt it.  Now we do not know how many info record is having the text as fixed since in most PO's text is not getting copied. 
    Is there any way where we can make a mass change so that fixed indicator is removed. If LSMW, how can we know how many info records are having text as fixed indicator "*".  Or is there is some other way.

    You can change/ remove the "No material text' check box either by using a
    mass maintenance - transaction MASS,
    object type: BUS3003
    table: EINE
    give the Info record number/Pur org/info-category/ plant
    or using the batch input recording using LSMW.
    You can find the number entries of info-records having 'No Material text' using transaction SE16/SE16N with table EINE
    and select the 'NO Material text' with 'X: and hit number of entries..you will find it

  • Purchase info record does not exists in purchase organization 1000

    Hi experts,
              I have created a new enterprise structure in SAP. when i am creating a PO its picking the correct info record, but when i am doing GR, its giving the error as 'purchase info record does not exists in purchase organization 1000". I have maintained everything perfect. the only thing i have changed is I have moved the open and close period from 11-2002 to 12-2008 in MMPV.
             Please give me some suggestions, where it can go wrong.

              Thanks for all yours responses, Actually what deepak said was right, but in my IDES system i am not able to create new entries in assign plant to std purchase org. I found the database view for that, V_001W_E its for table T001W. So i looked into that table i found that std purchase org was given as 1000. i made direct entries in that table, i thought the reason for this may be due to , that i copied plant from 1000. After making entries , i did not got the error message that was i am previously getting.

    ME1P will be used to monitor the changes in terms of pricing conditions you made to your info record via Transaction MEKP.
    In case of SA, you will have to build up your simple query by joining two tables A016 and KONP.

  • PO type UB is pulling in a Purchase Info Record - should this happen?

    Hi All,
    I've been looking around the net few a few days, off and on, but I can't find an answer.
    A colleague has created a Purchase Order type UB but it is bringing in a Purchase Info Records that relates to a different receiving plant. This is bringing an incorrect tax code into play.
    The work around is currently as follows
    Go into the (incorrect) PIR that is being engaged
    Remove the tax code
    Process the PO
    Go back into the PIR and change the tax code back to it's original setting,
    Am I correct in assuming that PIRs are not engaged in a UB transfer?
    What should be done to stop this from happening
    Apologies if this is obvious or if I have not given enough info.

    I know that I need info records for UB order  if I work with APO.
    Are you sure that the inforecord that is pulled is for a different receiving plant?
    Is the info record really created at plant level, or only at purchasing org level?
    And both plants share the same purchasing org?

  • Mass Creation of Purchasing Info Records

    Hi all,
    we want to change the vendor for a certain amount of articles (old vendor e.g. 102, new vendor e.g. 768).
    To order the articles (maybe approx. 1000) by the new vendor, we need to create new Purchasing Info Record (for vendor 768) for every article bought by vendor 102.
    Is there a standard transaction to handle this? MASS_EINE doesn't seem to fit to my problem.

    Hi Tobias,
    You need to go for creating new Inforecord for Article, Vendor, Porg and Site Combination .
    You should not go for Mass Maintanace for changing vendor.
    Go for Uploading by  LSMW or BDC for ME11 tcode.

    In purchase info record in deletion flag i tick the check delete info record. if i do this values from info record will not come when i create purchase order.
    What are the other ways the values are coming to my purchase order if the info record for that particular material is deleted .

    Hello,
    Check On the analysis button on the condition tab of the purchase order line item.
    here you will find the pricing procedure system is picking up. Also you will get all the condition type there.
    Check the first condition type PB00.
    Click on the arrow mark before PB00 and drop down you will see all the acess sequence for that condition type new see agaist which acess sequence you can find arrow mark. From there you can analyze and will come to know system is picking up price from which aces sequence.
    Outline agreement
    Contract or Inforecord.
    IIf you give deletion flag to Inforecord then also system will picking up price from info record. But if you keep the condtion record validity period as yesterdays date in ME12 or MEk2 transaction then system will not pickup from inforecord but it will pick up last PO price.
    So if you dont want Info record price to pick up then change the condtion type validity perid as past dates.

    while making new  Purchase order for same vendor and material but tax code is differant then can tax code will not update automatic in purchase info record.

    The Tax code will be updated from the PO at the first time Info record created from the PO as per the Info update setting.
    In your case as already with tax code an Info record exist as per standard the new tax code willn't get updated in to the existing info record. You have to change the new tax code in the info recordfrom the transaction ME12.
