I just tried the skype to go, to call Jamaica. The call went through fine. However after disconnecting I see where i was charged $.80 cents, that was deducted from a balace that I have. I dont understand why i was charged since I have unlimited subscription to usa and canada and the number that I was given to call the person had 212 area code

Charged for failed self install even though it was outside cable issue
Recently I moved and opted for self-install. I did all the set up correctly on my end but was still not getting internet service. I called and a technician was sent out and the technician also couldn't set it up because he determined the issue was with the outside line. He told me another technician would need to come out, at no charge to me, to run a new wire into the apartment for me to get service. The second technician came out a week later and did the work and again, no mention of charges for services was given or indicated on the receipt I was left with and signed. Sure enough I check my bill this month and there is a failed self-install fee of $100! I talked to customer service in chat and they said the best they could do is $30 even though I was told I would NOT be charged for the 2nd technician. I was also told that $50 service charges are mandatory whenever someone comes out, even though this specific charge is for a bogus failed self-install and not for a generic service visit. It wouldn't be so much of an issue if the first technician had just said "by the way it will cost $100 for the 2nd technician to install the new wiring from the cable box" instead of telling me it would be free. Why can't the technicians and service reps just be up front from the begining? This has been very frustrating. I still don't see the $30 credit and I should be getting a FULL credit because charge is completely bogus and the technicians should be trained to explain in advance all fees for services

I have Food Network Magazine set up as a monthly recurring subscription and was charged for the August issue. Only problem is that the last issue was a July/August issue so there is not an issue for August. Why was I still charged?

If you are having an unusual power or charging issues with your portable Mac, you may want to try resetting the System Management Controller (SMC). The SMC controlls or affects many of the low level power related functions on a Mac, including things like battery level reporting and power switching. You may find the following article helpful:

If you keep a credit balance on your own account, any purchase will be deducted from your credit balance instead of being charged to the Family Organizer's credit card.
To keep a credit balance, just buy and redeem iTunes gift cards to your account. -

Open the Mac App Store on the other Mac and in the Quick Links sign into your account. See if the Mountain Lion purchase is among hidden apps in the iCloud area of your account info.

Well, you're not alone. The question is why is this happening? Since the referenced link shows the same type of problem with Yahoo finance, I suspect there is a coding problem on the site, specific to how Firefox is reading the code. Not being a programmer, I can't offer specific advice other than contacting either Firefox through their Community forum, or Yahoo Finance. -
Can't use Premium even though I have been charged ...
I am having mega problems too. I can't get anyone to respond on the live chat and also I have discovered that I can't use skype premium even though I have been charged for it. Hi, I notice that my skype credit is being deducted even though I have subscription for calls to UK.
I called +44 uk landline # and my skype credit is being deducted for it.
I checked my subscription which allows me 120 minutes per month for calls to UK
and notice I have still 103 minutes left.
So why is my skype credit being deducted?
Could you refund my skype credit?

These very expensive premium #s are not included in any Subscription.

About an hour ago, I purchased Real Racing 2 from the Mac App Store for $12.99, but since then it has not downloaded one bit, even though I have a stable wifi connection. The money has already been taken from my account as well. What should I do?
Just to make sure, open Mac App Store and click Purchases. Can you pause the download and restart it?

I updated to ios7 on my iphone 4 and now cant install apps and one app says waiting for 2 days now. Also it started ading apps from my wife's phone onto my phone even though we have separate apple ids.
We do not share an apple ID and her phone is now logged in with her account and I have since backed it up on itunes under her account as well. I have turned off automatic downloads on her phone but they still keep downloading. I delete one app and then another one just appears on the phone.

Just because I have an imac pre 2007 why can I not order photo albums???!!
I spent hours building a photo album for my parents only to find out that because my mac is earlier than 2007, even though I have 10.6.8, I can no longer order?! What is with that? This makes no sense. I can go online to various "photo shop" place and regardless of the OS and computer I am working from I can order a photo album so why can I no longer do this through iPhoto on my MAC?
How do I order my album now? If somebody could please explain as I am going home in 1 month and really wanted to surprise my aging parents with this book.I found this:
