Chart Syntax errors
All
I am trying to setup a chart with the following SQL. Now these columns and tables are valid.
SELECT NULL 1, CLIENTTRADERID, TOTALROUNDTRIP FROM GFMIS.FASTFIX_CUSTOMER_PERF
ORDER BY CLIENTTRADERID
And i have tried to following the examples on this site

But i get an error when i enter next
1 error has occurred
Query cannot be parsed, please check the syntax of your query. (ORA-00923: FROM keyword not found where expected)
Sorry so i figured out a simple chart
SELECT null, clientacc, totalroundrip from fastfix_customer_perf
But when i run it i get the generted graph but an error with
SVG Chart error: ORA-20001: line_chart error: ORA_20001: get_data error: ORA 20001: Parse error: ORA 0090

It looks everything ok for me. (),{} are ok. I think Charter values are unexpected. My suggistion here split the formula first & excute in debug understand that.
Then try to add complexcity to that.

Syntax error while writing a select query.
Hi all,
I have a requirement where I have to pick a value if the text for that value is
MYCARu2019S Lovliest Car.
And so I wrote a query that
SELECT RUECK INTO XRUECK FROM AFVC WHERE ltxa1 = ' MYCARu2019S Lovliest Car'.
ENDSELECT.
But it gives me a syntax error saying
u201CLiterals taking up more than one line not permittedu201D.
Can some one tell me what is wrong. I need to select RUECK value from AFVC table if
ltxa1 value is ' MYCARu2019S Lovliest Car'.
Kindly help what is going wrong...

also careful wile comparing string. i think as you write ltxa1 value is ' MYCARu2019S Lovliest Car'.
so while comparing you must not use space just before staring use the following
SELECT rueck INTO xrueck FROM afvc WHERE ltxa1 = 'MYCAR''S Lovliest Car'. " Not use Space before M
ENDSELECT.

state_field_path_expression := {identification_variable | single_valued_association_path_expression}.state_field

What happened?
Error in ABAP application program.
The current ABAP program "SAPLRSAP" had to be terminated because one of the
statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.
In program "SAPLXRSA ", the following syntax error occurred
in the Include "ZXRSAU01 " in line 21:
"Field "ZOXPRO0043" is unknown. It is neither in one of the specified t"
"ables nor defined by a "DATA" statement. "DATA" statement."
Author and last person to change the Include are:

What can you do?
Please eliminate the error by performing a syntax check
(or an extended program check) on the program "SAPLXRSA ".
You can also perform the syntax check from the ABAP/4 Editor.
If the problem persists, proceed as follows:
Print out the error message (using the "Print" function)
and make a note of the actions and input that caused the
error.
To resolve the problem, contact your SAP system administrator.
You can use transaction ST22 (ABAP Dump Analysis) to view and administer
termination messages, especially those beyond their normal deletion
date.

How to correct the error
Probably the only way to eliminate the error is to correct the program.
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and you wish to send
an error message to SAP, include the following documents:
1. A printout of the problem description (short dump)
To obtain this, select in the current display "System->List->
Save->Local File (unconverted)".
2. A suitable printout of the system log
To obtain this, call the system log through transaction SM21.
Limit the time interval to 10 minutes before and 5 minutes
after the short dump. In the display, then select the function
"System->List->Save->Local File (unconverted)".
3. If the programs are your own programs or modified SAP programs,
supply the source code.
To do this, select the Editor function "Further Utilities->
Upload/Download->Download".

or which actions and input led to the error.

Why am I getting a syntax error on the /head line in DW CC?
I am getting a syntax error in DW CC. Other threads have indicated this was a bug in CS6 but had been fixed in CC. That leads me to believe it's my fault, but I can't figure it out. Can anyone help based on the information I've pasted below? Thanks!

And, whammo: "There is a syntax error on line xx. Code hinting may not work until you fix this error."
And, the error always highlights the closing </script> line.
The script itself is fine:
1. If one puts it into an external js file, there's no problem
2. If one puts it in the body section, there's no problem
3. If one puts it in the template, there's no problem
Also, if one removes the closing </script> tag, the error goes away
The problem only happens in a child generated by a template and in the location I've illustrated. Apparently, this is a problem a lot of users are facing... -
Source code has syntax error in SAP PI7.1 Mapping Test
HI All,
IN SAP P7.1 created simple two data types, message types and Message Mapping with only 2 fields. While testing the mapping in Message Mapping it is giving the error as

I am able to activate the Datatypes and Message Types but not able to activate the Messge mapping.
Please if any body faced the same problem please give the solution.
One more thing is I am able to test the Message Mapping available in BASIS 7.1 Software Component objects. It is executing successfully...
but otherthan this SWC it not working success fully.....

please check the default trace. It may contain the entry:
Error in compiling : java.io.IOException: Not enough space
If that's the case, maybe there's too little space for the swap file/device.
You should ensure that at least 2X (preferably 3X) of Heap (-Xmx) is configured as real swap
