Check with HR_MAINTAIN_MASTERDATA and HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION

Hello,
I have two questions about these FMs :
1) Is it possible to use 'CHK' action with the FM HR_MAINTAIN_MASTERDATA ?
2) When I use the FM HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION with action CHK no record is created, but after that, with action INS, the infotype record is created twice even if I use the instruction ROLLBACK WORK.
How to clear the memory after the CHK action?

HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION function modules. IF you go and see referenced field domain values you will see the following, But I can't see CHK value in the domain.

I will be forced to implement extended health-ckecks for Exchange 2010 CAS Servers. So the cisco design guide does not help
Exchange2010 CAS Service needs ntlm auth for many services by default. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb331973.aspx
Now with SP1 also for pop3 and imap4. I have not found any option to use ntlm by default.
The next problem is encryption.
Health-checks with encryption are not integrated in cisco ace 4710 by default.
As an alternative to try a scripted health-check with tcl script is an option but needs more investigation and is timeconsuming.
I watched for other vendors solution, they use e.g. external imported shell scripts with curl (curl -s --ntlm -k -X POST ...) to do a health-check with ntlm. That would be fine at the moment to beat the requirement of extendet health-checks.
But maybe it is only ntlm verion 1, I do not know what happens if it comes to ntlm version 2.
Kerberos authentication is a much bigger problem, but at the moment not a requirement.

Qm check with HU and without HU for same material.

I have a doubt, I am implementing in a chemical industry and I have the material that is 1st getting GR from production to Tank (Insp type 04) and then at a later stage i am creating a packing order with GR of the HU (insp type 04). problem is that i have QM active for GRN from production for both points but 1 is HU managed and the other is not. System does not allow without HU tick in Inspection type setup in MM. How do i go about doing GR for both HU managed and non HU managed in the same material?

Thanks for the reply, I have 2 queries with this, i had already defined a new insp type (say Z040) as a copy of 04 and checked the tick for HU, i have also defined 2 inspection plans for the same material and set the manual determination but the system is not generating the lot for the HU managed material. How do i get the system to generate the lot. how do i trigger the user exit?

I'm trying to print Checks with Quicken. the print is 1/2 way across check with single and doubles

My printer is the HP Laserjet 1102W When I load a single or double check into the manual feed vertically taken from a 81/2 x 11 sheet of checks Quicken prints so that only the date and amount show up in the middle of the check. I have used these checks for years with the manual feed on a Laserjet 4 Plus. How do I get the printing to move so that it covers the whole check?

I would recommend you continue with Quicken Essentials. As noted by others, it performs well on Yosemite.
My personal experience is Quicken 2007 for Mac also on 10.7.5 (with many reports of it both updated and successfully running on Yosemite) and I personally would not touch Quicken Essentials with a 10 foot pole -- BUT, if it ain't broke for you, don't fix it!

I have a little white block on the bottom left corner of the firefox dropdown menu button that has no function. I have checked with friends and other computers and they don't appear to have the same issue.

the button is still functional it's just a small white square with a black dot in it. I can't really say any more

I had that problem too. The square went away when I disabled the FoxTab (v 1.4.1) extension. It says on the website that its for Firefox 3, but other than the white square it worked fine on my FF4.

Couple ways to treat these situations. Here's one solution:
Go to System Preferences < Quicktime. Click on the Advanced Tab. Click on MIME Settings and select (or de-select) media types you don't want Quicktime to open by default.

I did a little bit of experimenting. I have an iPad original versions myself. I took it out of the box knowing that I haven used it in months and I expected the battery to be dead and sure enough the battery was as dead as I imagined it would be. For the first 30 minutes I experienced exactly what you are experiencing, but then the iPad suddenly powered up on its own (like it does when plugged into the charger) and I am using it now to type this response to you.
My point is that I am starting tothink that your battery has suddenly died on you for some reason or you have a hardware problem now. I would still try leaving the iPad charge for a while longer - maybe even overnight - and then try again in the morning. Unplug the iPad and try resetting with the home and sleep buttons. Try plugging the iPad in again. Unplug it, try restarting again. Let it charge for a while again.
After trying something like that, if it still will not start up, then I think it's time for a trip to an Apple Store and see what the Apple Techs think.

Upload problems with Facebook and Vimeo from Premiere Elements 10

I have created a project in HD and am trying to upload to Vimeo. Premiere Elements 10 does not have a preset so I followed some instructions from the Vimeo website. Project is "blurry" when viewed. I checked with Vimeo and they said what they converted matches what I sent so the problem must be in the export - bit rate may be incorrect. Can anyone give me the correct presets for Vimeo from Premiere Elements 10. I can view other people's video in HD and they look fine so I don't think it's my computer monitor. I'm sure you will need more information about my project so please give me a list of specific things you need to know. Thank you.
My Facebook problem is as follows. If I use the preset from Premiere Elements 10 to upload to Facebook it looks fine, HD quality as expected. Problem is, I would like to upload to my business page. Since the personal page and the business page (managed by my personal account) share a login, the preset always loads to my personal page. Does anyone know the values of the preset so I can upload the video to my business page. My business is event and wedding videography so I would like the posts to be as clear as possible.
If the problem with the Vimeo uploads is solved then I suppose I can just share the Vimeo file on Facebook. Thank you.

I think that you are overlooking what you already have with regard to a Vimeo HD preset for export to file for upload of the saved file at the Vimeo website.

Under the Advanced Button/Video Tab, you can customize the preset further from 1280 x 720 to 1920 x 1080 and increase the bitrate, if necessary, to a level that does not give you a prohibitive file size. With Profile = Main and Level = 3.1, the bitrate range is 0.19 to 14 Mbps (megabits per second).
I would start with the default bitrates of Target = 8 Mbps and Maximium = 9 Mbps and explore and experiment from there.
If you customize the preset to 1920 x 1080 in the Export Settings customization area, then change the Profile to High and the Level to 5.1
When you do that the bitrate range will be 0.19 to 300 Mbps instead of 0.19 to 14 Mbps.
In all cases, watch for file size versus bitrate versus quality of end product.
Please give that a look and then let us know if the above resolves your Vimeo and Facebook question.

I don't understand...
I've built the page using fireworks and dreamweaver cs3.
I've inserted a flashmedia by using insert-media-flash and on
some pages flashbuttons. It works fine in a browser (checked with
IE7 and NS9). But when I use validate in dreamweaver I get errors
that says something like the tag with the name "embed" can't be
found in (something) versions.[XHTML 1.0 transitional].
Why does dreamweaver use "embed" when it shouldn't be used
with xhtml? How do I fix this?

Problems with irig and Iphone 3 and 4

Does anybody knows anything about an audio problem between the irig and the Iphone 3 and 4.
The irig is not recognize on any way. I have check with them and the people from IK multimedia said that it is a Hardware (iphone 3 and 4 broblem). Besides it works with my Ipad 1.
Any comments or suggestions?

update. i uninstalled usb drivers on the computer and let them reinstall when connected. itunes just appears to lock up when i connect the iphone 4, it stays unresponsive for 1-2 mins then goes back to running normal. then i connect my wife's 3g it shows up fine and right away.
has anyone else had this problem or heard of this problem?

Problems with validation and flow

My JSF experience is limited, so please bear with me. Apologies in advance for any incorrect terminology, etc.
Outset:
We have a simple app that creates and updates fields mapped to a request scoped managed bean.
The same .jsp is used for both create and update use-cases. We distinguish between a create and update action by using an inputHidden tag with value="#{entity.id}". The inputHidden tag also has a rendered="#{entity.id ne null}" property defined. The page submits via the use of a commandButton:

The catch:
We are using JSF validation. If a blank field is entered on a required field during an "update", JSF interrupts the flow by forwarding back to the create page, and displaying the relevant error message. However, it loses the formName:id value (i.e. no value is bound to the requestParameterMap), and the app loses it's handle to the entity being updated.
Tested workarounds
We have successfully split the site model into separate create and edit screens. Validation errors using this model do pass on the entity id, but we would prefer to stick to the one-page-per-entity model described above.
We have also tried removing the rendered="#{entity.id ne null}" constraint on the hidden field. This fails on an entity create, as a blank hidden field always translates to a 0 (zero) id value, and the same entity id thus always gets created.
Question
We believe our understanding here is letting us down. There must be a better way to persist entity data for updates. Can anyone shed more light on the issue?

Everything, Numbers and Pages et al, always default back to US English. To cap it all we sell luminaires (yes this is a word used in our world of lighting design everyday) Mac and Microsoft always default - my docs have more words underlined in red that not. I once found a permanent solution for Microsoft that removed US english - and then the laptop died. Can anyone rid me of this irritation.

GOT IT FIXED! WOW!
I did better than filing a bug report. I went to Apple support, chose chat support. When it wanted $15 or was it $19 I filed an exemption which was a choice on the page, based on the fact that I recently upgraded to Yosemite.
Got the chat fellow and here we go!!!! ;-) First off he sent me this app so he could see my screen. Then he had me do a few things like move the system configuration folder to the desktop and repair permissions. Then he had me reset the SMC and Pram. Nothing helped, all the ghost computers still showed in the finder.
As a last resort he had me reset my Apple Airport Extreme. Wala! Ghost Computers GONE! He said it was a combination of stuff but mainly it was the airport extreme when I installed Yosemite. Something to do with my network. We'll see if it holds or if the problem comes back but as of now there's no more ghost computers in the sharing part of the finder.
Thanks to all who offered suggestions. I hope maybe this helps someone else.
