    Hi kruione,
If you are having an issue with an external drive not being detected by your iMac, I would suggest resetting the computer's parameter RAM. See this article for how -

I'm planning to purchase the 6 plus, but I need to know from where.whom will the fix for this problem emerge.

My new iPhone 6 paired perfectly with my Mercedes system.  That said, on your iPhone 5, reset your network settings and then try to pair it again.

  • T60 system not recognizing drivers.

I have a T60 laptop, model 2613-HKU. Recently I just reinstalled Windows XP. After the OS installation, I installed every drivers listed on Lenovo's website:
    http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-62928.html
Still, under "Device Manager", I saw a list of uninstalled devices:
    -Biometric Coprocessor
    -Ethernet Controller
    -Network Controller
    -PCI Device
    -SM BUS Controller
    -Unknown Device
    -Video Controller (VGA Compatible)
So I think in this case my issue would be likely to caused by the system not recognizing the drivers? Any help or suggestion would be really appreciated. I have posted a similar post before since I thought I only have an issue with the wireless system, so I apologize if anyone consider this somewhat a duplicate post.

Just checkin: Lenovo driver installs have two steps: 1. Extract 2. Install. Did you do step 2?
When you run the downloaded file it extracts, usually to a directory under C:/DRIVERS, then you go to that directory, and run the installer (usually setup.exe, but not always - check the installation instructions).
    I don't work for Lenovo. I'm a crazy volunteer!

  • Clients do not receive Update anymore

    Hi,
already close to a nervous breakdown:
Some time ago we had our WSUS / SUP working fine with SCCM 2012 SP1, installed on a (virtual) server 2008R2
Due to performance issues we were forced to move SCCM to a powerful hardware box.
there we installed server 2012R2 as OS, and we succesfully did restore a SCCM Backup from the virtual Machine
We've been told to keep the same servername as the virtual - to succeed on SCCM backup restore
So far so good ... all does work fine, on top of, we did upgrade to CU3
However since that day - none of our clients did receive a single WSUS update anymore. On the server side all is fine
    to me.
updates are synchronised - automatic deployment rules do what they have to do, software update groups are created, updates
    downloaded, distributed and deployed.
update deployments are required with deadline and so on ...
the logs on the server do look fine ...except one thing in the WCM.log which came to my attention

Since server 20112R2 does come with a higher WSUS release. so I think no issue here ...

FYI - we are not using GPO's to set WSUS source .. boundaries are configured correct ....
on the SCCM server In the deployment status for a software updates deployment -> clients report - status unknown ->
    client check passed /active
To me the clients don't detect that there are new updates available.
Have you any idea where it can go wrong .. I so far can't find out why.
    Thanks

    Dear,
I found out that when the sccm client gets in stalled -> a local policy has been set to point to the WSUS update service location / SCCM server - in our case http://servername.domain.corp.local:8530
Since most of our clients were installed from the former SCCM setup on the Virtual server installed with server 2008 R2 + wsus 3.0 + SP2 this local policy is still pointing to http://servername.domain.corp.local:80
We however did upgrade all clients to the CU3 level from the SCCM setup on the new server installed with 2012R2 operating system  and corresponding WSUS 4... - the client upgrade did suceed - but the setting for the WSUS service location Did remain
    on  http://servername.domain.corp.local:80
I did try to get rid of that port 80 setting - but no chance ..the SCCM agent nicely did revert back to port 80 all the time.
Than I uninstalled the SCCM client by running CCMSetup.exe /uninstall - after the uninstall I've rebooted the client - and installed teh SCCM client again (direct from teh primary site server)
And yes - the windows update service location was set correct now!
    http://servername.domain.corp.local:8530
Suddenly the client did start talking with the System center server  - and did report back updates status - the client even did install updates - unfortunately only updates who were released / deployed before - we moved SCCM from the Virtual server
    to the 2012R2 hardware server.
So we're getting closer -  now we need to find out why those fresh released updates / groups (April 2014) and corresponding deployments - are not detected by the client.
any suggestion would be highly appreciated
    Thx
    Geert

  • Windows 8.1 clients are not detecting updates deployed to them through SCCM 2012 R2

    Hello,
We are using SCCM 2012 R2 to deploy software updates.
On Windows 8.1 SCCM does not show certain updates as being needed and isn't deploying them to the clients even though Windows Update will show them as high importance. These same updates are being detected and deployed to Windows 8 clients successfully.
I believe that the update catalog that WSUS uses may have some incorrect detection rules for the following updates:
    2917933
    2913320
    2913270
    2913152
    2909569
    2904440
    2904266
    2903939
    2899189
    2893984
    2893294
    2892074
    2916626
    2898785
My automatic deployment rules include Windows 8.1 in the product category. I have even created a standalone rule for Windows 8.1 that builds a new package and the behavior is the same.
We only have a handful of Windows 8+ clients so this hasn't been a big issue but others may want to keep an eye out.

I am also running into this issue.  After "checking online for updates" on one of my machines in office I found that there were 21 important updates for my 8.1 box.  When I cross reference them in SCCM under All Software Updates, it appears these
8.1 updates are not listed.  They are however listed for all other OS.
10 seconds after typing this, I went in to verify my WSUS ->  Products and Classifications settings and come to find 8.1 and 2012 R2 weren't selected, even though it's an option in SCCM.  Go figure!  This wasn't the end though.  After
running a Synchronization, my issue still wasn't resolved.  Went back to check my settings and they again were changed back to having these OS unchecked.  Finally, a solution!  I found that in SCCM, under Administration tab, Site Configuration
    > Sites > ABC - Mysitename, right click and scroll down to "Configure Site Components" > Software Update Point.  This setting (although the same as is in WSUS) takes precedence, thus was rolling my settings back to the original configuration
    in WSUS.
So long story short, even though my automatic deployment rules stated approve all windows 7/8/8.1 criticals/importants, 8.1 was getting skipped for the most part because my WSUS server wasn't syncing with Microsoft for all of the updates I required.  I
did have a couple of updates that squeezed through because they were categorized as "Security Updates for Windows 8, 8.1".
Not sure if this is the solution you were looking for, but your thread got me started in the right direction, hopefully this response helps in the same way!
    Thanks!

  • JavaBean in Form 6i Client system (not web)

    Hi,
Anybody help me, I want to use JavaBean in form6i client system to store image into oracle11g database (and retrieve also). I am really new to javaBean. I read the Help of oracle form, but I didn't understand.

Friend can you tell me any method to insert image into oracle database 11g using form6i and retrieving it from 11g to form 6i.
I tried by making database item, when commit statement is executed it's goes to the database and when execute_query is executed its retrieves from database, but it's very slow. I want to improve the speed.
The column I used to store image is BLOB type.

  • TS3230 from a macbook air, osx 10.7.5, am trying to enter OPM/e-qip application but told system not recognized, to go to tools, options, advanced, encryption, enable ssl3.0 and tis 1.o.  How do I get to "Tools"?

I am trying to enter OPM/E-QIP Application but am told browser is not recognized, to go to: tools, options, advanced, encrytion, enable, SSL3.0 and TLS 1.0.  How to get to Tools?

Here's what OPM says to do to configure Safari, if that's the browser you're using (sort of; their instructions wouldn't get you where you need to be with Safari 5.1.7:
    1) Select Safari, then Preferences from the menubar.
    2) Click Advanced
    3) Click the check box next to "Show Develop Menu in the Menu Bar"
    4) Close the Preferences window
    5) Select Develop from the menubar
    6) Select User Agent, then "an appropriate browser" (OPM's words); they suggest Firefox for the Mac
This information came from their Quick Reference Guide (other than correcting an error about how to set the user agent), and I haven't tested it.  If this doesn't work, you probably need to ask OPM (or their contractor) how to use the site with a Mac ...
    Good luck

  • Some client systems not pulling down updates

    Hi,
I recently pushed out the all the March Patch Tuesday updates and I've got around 11 systems that are reporting as compliant when I review the status of the deployment, but are systems that haven't actually pulled down or installed the updates from the deployment.
Strangely the systems show up as Active in the SCCM 2012 console and have current (within the last 4 hours or so) active times. So it seems the SCCM client components are working correctly.
The thing all these systems appear to have in common is that in the WindowsUpdate.log I see the following lines:
    2015-03-23 04:32:32:148 2216 16d8 COMAPI ---------
    2015-03-23 04:32:32:148 2216 16d8 COMAPI --  END  --  COMAPI: Search [ClientId = CcmExec]
    2015-03-23 04:32:32:148 2216 16d8 COMAPI -------------
    2015-03-23 04:32:32:959 2216 a18 COMAPI WARNING: ISusInternal::GetUpdateMetadata2 failed, hr=8007000E
Reviewing the WindowsUpdate.log I can see the CCMExec process talking to my SCCM 2012 server but then I get the error above and no updates appear to get pulled down.
I've tried rebooting the systems to see if that resolves the issue but it doesn't.  Also what is strange is that these systems have all been working fine in the past.  So something appears to have gotten messed up but I'm not sure what?
    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance,
    Nick

Just to update - I followed the steps to resolve the problem that were mentioned in the following thread
    https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/cf8fbe28-714d-49d3-b2ce-5cc5f6f79c63/some-clients-not-updating-reporting-compliant-hr8007000e-error-in-windowsupdatelog?forum=configmanagersecurity
    Namely I did:
Clean up WSUS  - I had over 18000 expired/unneeded updates in my WSUS server.  I used the SQL script from the following post:
    http://blog.coretech.dk/kea/house-of-cardsthe-configmgr-software-update-point-and-wsus/
It took over two days to delete all the updates in batches of 2000
I also plan to add a weekly scheduled job with the WSUS Server Cleanup process PowerShell script they provide to keep my WSUS server clean
Index the WSUS database - I used the SQL Script provided in the following post
    https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/ScriptCenter/6f8cde49-5c52-4abd-9820-f1d270ddea61/
I also plan to add a scheduled job to run this weekly
After I made these changes my Windows 7 x86 clients that hadn't pulled down the latest March updates pulled them down.
I also ran the batch file they provided
    Net stop wuauserv
    Sc config wuauserv type= own
    Net start wuauserv
Just in case on these machines.
Thanks for the help on this one.

  • System not recognizing device

I've tried the 5 R's with no results. Whenever I plug in the ipod nano of course the Do not Disconnect screen comes up. But then I get a screen taht states "your ipod has been connected. Please wait while the system recognizes the device. Waiting on ipod. This continues indefinitely. If I unplug the ipod, it states to reconnect device. Nothing seems to help. I've loaded it on several pcs with the same results. Also have loaded and reloaded ipod updater and itunes. itunes never sees the ipod. How can I fix this thing?

Put the device in DFU mode (google it) and restore as new.

  • New Operating System Not Recognizing Hard Drive

I recently upgraded my MacBook Pro's operating system to a OSX Maverisks and afterwards, my computer no longer recognized my Toshiba hard drive. Why is this and what can I do to fix it? Thanks!

    Hi, Mark:
Is your new hard drive being recognized in the BIOS?
If not, none of the info you posted matters. There are no drivers needed for the BIOS to recognize that a hard drive is installed.
If you are trying to install windows vista or windows 7 using microsoft OEM DVD's, again, there are no drivers to install as they are included with the installation disk.
If you are trying to install W7 with a set of HP recovery disks, you may need this patch:
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=pv-80183-1&cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en
If you are installing windows XP, the information you posted applies. XP does not have the SATA drivers necessary to install the operating system.
If you are installing XP, I will send you the link to the SATA ACHI drivers you need.

  • Car's Music System Not Recognizing Iphone by USB

    Hi All
I tried to use the iphone to listen music on my car's music system.
However te display shows reading USB and hangs up.Just to confirm that the port is fine I trieother medias and that worked fine.
Please help me in getting tis issue resolved.Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated.
    Thanks in Advace,
    Mahesh

Does the car connection state that it supports iPhones?
It may not work because it is not supposed to.
The iPhone does not present itself over USB like a USB drive would do.
You cannot see the music files on the iPhone directly over USB port.
My guess is that the car connection is expecting a simple USN device and NOT an iPhone.

  • System Not Recognizing Javac

    Sytem: Windows XP Home Edition
    Java Version: 1.4.0
'javac' is not an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
How do I set my classpath? Please dummy down starting at the Advanced Tab in System Properties. =) That is, before I break down in tears of holy frustration.
    Thanks in advance.

That is the file path that is in my system. The location of the javac.exe is in:
    C:\Program Files\jsdk1.4.0\bin
That is why I am banging my head. Also, I didn't see an option while installing Java to have the files rooted directly on the c drive and not under program files.

  • Itunes says my computer is no loger authorized to play/sync music bought on my account. Suddenly is not recognizing updated email address.

Late last year (I believe) I updated the email on file for my itunes account, so that the one on file would be my most up-to-date current email. I have had no problems until now, when, trying to sync my most recently purchased music album to my ipod, a pop up happened saying that my computer was no longer authorized to play music bought with this account, yada-yada, and unless I signed it and r-authorized it, 400+ songs would be removed from the ipod. The original address was what appeared auto-filled. It obviously doesn't work, and while I was able to sign in (multiple times) with my current one, it wouldn't do anything. It IS the same account... when I went to the account page, I could even pull up a list of all the purchases made since 2007. And of course the apple/itunes tech "help" is crap, and I can't get assistance without PAYING the idiots 29$. Any input? As far as I can tell, those tracks were taken off my ipod, as I couldn't DO anything without another popup happening again and again and again, until I just exited out of it enough times.
    -Louisa

That helped a lot, and authorized a few hundred that weren't authorized before. I still have 60, however, that are unable to be authorized.
It asks me to login to my AOL account, which is different from my Apple account. For some reason, that won't work either. Is there a way to link the two together?
