CM1312 NFP: WIndows 7: USB Error message ~"Lost Connection"

With the 1312 connected to my Windwos 7 desktop, periodically Windows gives an error message that indicates that it has lost connection to the printer. Unplugging and replugging the USB cable fixes the problem. Otherwise the print & scan functions work perfectly. Symptomatically it appears as if the printer goes to sleep and stops responding to whatever "keep alive" messages Windows might be sending. Is there a setting in the printer, in Windows or in the printer driver software that can prevent this message?
BTW, the other way to work around this problem is to just access the printer via the Ethernet but the scan funciton is not accessible via the network (an unfortunate limitation).

Hello, Here is the sequence of my steps I do up to when I get the problem. I click on upload to creative cloud in ps touch, then I select files to upload, all fine, then I put in my email and password - I have no problem with them, they work fine, I checked on the website. Right after it should sign me in, I get this message: lost connection. please check your connection and try again. My internet connection is working very fine at the moment I sign in through ps touch - keep that in mind. This message keeps showing each time I try to sign in. I have no idea what is wrong. However, please try to perform the following steps.
Clean up cached user login information:
Delete the opm.db file.
Close the Creative Cloud application.
Navigate to the OOBE folder.
Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
Mac OS: /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder
Delete the opm.db file.
Launch Creative Cloud.

Windows - No Disk error message when connecting Ipod to computer

I recently connected my Ipod to the Computer as I have done for the last year and I am now getting an error message reading: "Windows - No Disk". It then asks me to insert a disk. I cannot cancel out, continue or retry which are the three choices. I eventually have to Ctrl + Alt + Del to close out Itunes. Can anyone help? Thank You.

Windows Blue Screen Error Message Appears As Soon As IPod Connected

Everytime I connect my IPod to my computer, I get the Windows Blue Screen error message. Thought it was the cable, so plugged cable in by itself. No problem. Uninstalled IPod and ITunes software and then plugged in IPod, still got the Blue Screen. The Blue Screen says something about "recent plugged in device problem". It is not the cable, it must be the IPod. Did not have this problem when I bought it. Tried it on labtop and get the same error message. I can't do updater or anything that requires me to plug the IPod into a computer because the Blue Screen appears immediately. When I unplug, the Blue Screen remains and locks up the computer so I have to restart each time. I have tried everything I can think of. Please help.

I am not able to start the computer in safe mode, safe mode with networking, last good known configuration etc, Each time it quickly blue screens and restarts about two secs into the process.
I was unable to try a clean OS install from the disk as it gave the blue screen error shown in the original post. The same thing happened when I tried to use the repair option on the XP home disc. So i can't get into the computer at all to start diagnosing the fault, the only clue I have is the error message, and after searching the internet I haven't found much enlightenment from that yet.
If you can help me out or suggest where to search it would be much appreciated.

Dv6 Notebook "Black Screen" following "Windows Blue Screen" error message. Caps Lock blinking!

I have a HP DV6 notebook. I left my computer on overnight and the next morning I woke up to find a Windows Blue Screen error message. It said to restart my computer. I was in a rush so I just closed the lid. When I returned I opened the lid and the screen was black. I pressed the power button to restart it and I haven't been able to restart it since. I now have a power light, a black screen and the CAPS LOCK light is blinking twice then a pause! Please help!

I understand that you are having an issue with turning on your notebook and the CAPS LOCK light blinks twice and then pauses. The following document 'Computer Does Not Start and the LEDs Blink or the Computer Beeps' will walk you through the steps that you need to follow. For your error code, it means that the BIOS has a corruption failure. This document will walk you through the necessary steps to get this resolved.
If for some reason this document does not resolve the issue please provide me with the model number to your notebook. I have included a document 'How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?'

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If the advice above doesn't resolve things you could try this alternate version:
iTunes 12.1.0.71 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - itunes64setup.exe (2015-01-28)
which is a 64-bit installer for the 32-bit version of the core application, similar to previous 64-bit releases.
Or roll back to the previous build:
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (32-bit) - iTunesSetup.exe (2014-10-16)
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (64-bit) - iTunes64Setup.exe (2014-10-16)

CS-15 adn an Error message: No connection profile ...

I recently bougth CS-15 modem which does not seem to work on my laptop (Vaio VGN-S2XP) though all the system requirements should be fine (Windows XP Prof (32 bit), service pack 3 and other windows updates done). The software is loaded when I plug CS-15 to the USB drive but I constatly get an error message: No connection profiles available. Ive tried to import connection profile and create a new one but that doesnt work either.
When I do a modem query, i get this log:
AT+GMM - Nokia Internet Stick CS-15
AT+FCLASS=? - +FCLASS: (0-1)
AT#CLS=? - COMMAND NOT SUPPORTED
AT+GCI? - COMMAND NOT SUPPORTED
AT+GCI=? - COMMAND NOT SUPPORTED
Any ideas how to fix this problem?

I have the same problem. The CS-15 works fine on my laptop (Dell E6500/ Windows XP Prof( 32 bit ), service pack + updates ), but gives the "No connection profile found" error on my home PC (same Operating system ).
I updated the firmware from the modem to R2.7 but that didn't solve the problem. Maybe the problem is related to the motherboard somehow??

Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
You will have to re enter your Wi-Fi password.
If nothing above helped, restart your router.
No data is lost due to a reset.

Internet Download error message: the connection with the server has been reset

With an WRT54GS v6 firmware v 1.50.9 on Windows XP SP2 with Internet Explorer 7, Intel wireless internal adaptor w/ 802.11b, I was getting the error message "The connection with the server has been reset" when downloading most anything from the Internet. My IP address would then be reset and download would be interrupted. To resolve, I turned off the WZC (Wireless Zero Configuration) Services, and this seems to correct the problem.
Control Panel > Admin Tools > Services > Wireless Zero Configuration > Disable

Often I get an error message "cannot connect to server" when
I want to connect to acrobat.com directly from a .pdf document in
order to upload it . Is it possible that there is some security
issue involved, e.g. that the document is protected somehow? Or

known to cause some behavioral, and connectivity issues within
Acrobat.com
Users have had success with allowing *.acrobat.com as a
trusted site locally, to see if that allows connectivity.
Also what browser, and OS are you using?
If still in the Unix environment, do you have access to a
Windows, or Mac environment?
