CM21 Graph profile

Hi,
Please help with this requirement.
I need to change the colors of released and created production orders in CM21. from my earlier post I got reply to use SAP Note 71014 but that is not working for me. Is anybody has experienced this requirment earlier and suggest me if you have any solutions.

Hi,
Can u check notes in SPRO Capacity leveling and extended evaluation->Technical settings->Useful notes->Color of graphical objects.

  • How to export Resource Graphs/Profiles to Word or Excel

    We are using Primavera Risk Analysis 8.x and we could not find an option on how to generate reports showing resource profiles or how to export them into another software. Has anybody came across such an issue?
    Thanks in advance
    Chris

    As with other Primavera products you can export most data fields out to MS Excel or Word or Access in order to better customize your reports. Charting in Excel is far better for your graphical reports :) If not, you could always import that data back into P6 and run your resource profiles in that software.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Exporting using Export View Contents commandThis method of export is excellent for getting selected information out of Pertmaster for manipulation or viewing in other packages.
    You can use the Export View Contents command from the Gantt Chart or the Resource Sheet.
    Using Export View Contents from the Gantt Chart saves the information displayed in the current columns and the column headings.
    Using Export View Contents from the Resource Sheet saves the information on the usage of the displayed resources between two user defined dates.
    To Export View Contents from the Gantt Chart
    Set up the Gantt Chart columns to display the information that you require. Apply a filter if you wish to export only the information of certain tasks.
    View | Export View Contents.
    Type in the filename. Click on OK.
    To Export View Contents from the Resource Sheet
    Add the required resources to the resource sheet.
    View | Export View Contents.
    Type in the filename. Click on OK.
    Enter the export date range. Click on OK.
    To Export View Contents from the Resource Graph
    You cannot export directly from the resource graph. So add the required resource to the resource sheet and then use export as described above.
  • CM21 Strategy Profile with Setup Optimization but consider the requirements
    Dear guru.
    A question about strategy profile in CM21
    The system Is able to execute an automatic dispatch that optimize the setup time of the production order but also consider the requirements date in order that the production orders dispatched can cover the requirements without delay ?
    Thanks In advance
    Dear ,
    The system Is able to execute an automatic dispatch that optimize the setup time of the production order but also consider the requirements date in order that the production orders dispatched can cover the requirements without delay ?
    To answer to your query I would rather say that any operation  under an work centre have Execution time =Set up time +Processing Time +Tear Down Time  and also Inter operation time -Que time , Wait Time , Move Time .
    Now when you dipatch the operation in CM21 , it cheks the available capacity on that date  and also compare with the total operation timimngs within schedule start and schedule finish date  and then dispach automatically if work centre is not overloaded otherwise it will pop up with a Scheduling Logg or else it will appear with an window that will show u Date , Work Centre , Operation , timie so that you can change according to WC load n availablity in alternate date .So In the strategy prfile if you click Display dates while dispatching u can obseve the same .
    Now total  production order schedule start and schedule finsihe date will be considered and it will automatically chage as per the WC availabli capaciy while automatic dispatch .But u need to SAVE that to observe the changes in CM21.
    Hope it is clear
  • Finite cheduling
    Dear Seniors,
    Please tell me how to configure finite scheduling becase i am giving demand in MD61 by Confiming the work center capacity and i run MRP. and i convert palnned order to production order for two days in advance, then i want system should schedule that order by considering pendeng order.
    how it is possible
    Faisal
    Edited by: Muhamed Faisal on Nov 25, 2010 2:34 PM
    1. In the wc ensure that the Finite scheduling tick is done in the capacity.
    2. all the required capacity formula / values are all maintained.
    3. Now when you run the MRP withe lead time scheduling then the planned order will be genreated.
    4. After this you can use the CM21 graph plg table to do the scheduling.
    since  you are taling about the backorder , then you need to reschedule
    ie) for examle
    if you have a produciton order which was planned to completed by nov 24 but still in progress then you need to reschedule the same.. else it will not book the capacity ..
    this also applies for any open order .
    Kindly let me know your feedback
  • Tracer un profil sur un graphe XY
    Bonjour,
    Le but de mon VI est de réaliser un profil sur un graphe XY.
    Pour cela, je renseigne les données à partir d'un tableau de cluster, et dès lors que j'appuie sur suivant, par l'intermédiaire d'une structure event, je trace la portion de mon graphe associée.
    Cependant, lorsque j'exécute, je rencontre pas mal d'incohérences et j'ai du mal à voir d'où cela peut-il venir..
    Si quelqu'un trouve d'ù pourrait venir le problème, je suis preneur..
    Cordialement
    ci-joint un exemple vite fait, je n'ai pas repris ton code, j'ai fait ça juste pour te donner un exemple, si tu veux te baser dessus tu auras quand même pas mal de travail à faire.
    je n'ai pas géré l'affichage du graph ni la gestion de l'ordre des étapes (avec un indice dans le nom de l'étape).
    par ailleurs j'ai utilié un variant avec des attributs pour conserver en mémoire les données dont j'ai besoin comme le nom du fichier et l'indice de l'étape sélectionnée, pour un variant... c'est pas du tout nécessaire mais c'est souple si jamais on veut ajouter des choses par la suite.
    n'hésite pas à poser des questions si il y a des choses que tu ne comprends pas dans mon exemple, je l'ai fait un peu vite donc il y a des défauts dedans...
  • Profile from an Intensity Graph?
    Is there a VI to extract a "line profile" from an "Intensity Graph"?
    Hopefuly, the profile could be specified using the mouse.
    An intensity graph is just a 2D array. Simply slice out a column or row as desired.
    The attached example (LabVIEW 7.0)  lets you graph the slice under the cursor on a waveform graph. It should get you some ideas.
  • Interactive Motion Profile Graph
    I'm trying to program an interactive graph of velocity vs. time for a motion control application. Does LabVIEW have the capability to create graphs with points that can be moved around by the user?
    Hello mysterj,
    This can be accomplished by using cursors and property nodes. See the attached VI for an example of how to accomplish this.
  • CM21 capacity leveling settings
    Hi,
    In CM21, is it possible to setup different colors for released  orders and created orders.
    Thanks in advance.
    Dear,
    Some settings in Customizing have to made to change the colors of operations or order depending on the status. Create a new object representation that must be entered in a new object representation selection via a modified decision table. Execute the query of the system status or the user status at order header level in the decision table using field AFKO-OBJNR. Field KBED-OBSTA can be used at operation level. The changes result in a new representation profile.
    Proceed as follows:
          1. Analyzing the used profile
                a) Go to the IMG structure for capacity requirements planning. Call your profile of the capacity planning table and note the following settings.
              o Choose 'Capacity leveling -> Capacity planning table -> Define profile for capacity planning table'.
              o Display your profile and take note of the following:
              o GraphObjectSele (Diagram section):
              o Repr.profile (Diagram section):
              o Group (Graphics profile):
              o Name (Graphics profile):
                  An overview of the used settings is displayed when you press the 'Check' pushbutton where you can execute the further analysis easily.
                b) Finding the graphic object type in question
                Double-click on the 'Graph.object.select.' area and take the graphic object type in question from the decision table:
                or:
              o Choose 'Capacity leveling -> Technical settings -> Capacity planning table -> Define graphical object type selection'.
              o Select your graphical object type selection and choose 'Decision steps'.
              o Find out which graphical object type is affected by double-clicking on the relevant table line.
                c) Select the required graphical element type
                An overview of the available graphical element types is displayed when you do the following:
                In the overview, double-click on the area 'Group, Name' and there on the used graphical element group.
                or:
              o Choose 'Capacity leveling -> Technical settings -> Capacity planning table -> Graphics -> Define graphics profile'.
              o Mark the line with the corresponding group and name and choose 'Goto -> Details'.
              o Note the used graphical element group:
              o Choose 'Capacity leveling -> Technical settings -> Capacity planning table -> Graphics -> Define graphical element'.
              o Position the cursor on the used graphical element group.
              o Here you will find the available graphic element types.
          2. Create a new graphical object representation
                a) Create a new representation profile in the used graphical object type selection based on the used representation profile.
              o Choose 'Capacity leveling -> Technical settings -> Capacity planning table -> Define graphical object type selection'.
              o Select your 'GrapObjSele' and choose 'Representation profile - overview'.
              o Select your representation profile and choose 'Edit -> Copy as...'.
              o Enter a new name.
              o Press ENTER to confirm your entries.
              o Copy all dependent entries.
              o Press ENTER to confirm your entries.
              o Save your entries.
              o Stay in the overview of the representation profiles.
                b) Define a new object representation selection for the respective graphical object type based on the types used there.
              o Select the representation profile created by you and choose 'Representation profile'.
              o Note the object representation selection for the required graphical object type:
              o Now choose 'Capacity leveling -> Technical settings -> Capacity planning table -> Define graphical object'.
              o Select the required 'Gr.obj.'
              o Call 'Object representation' in the Navigation window.
              o Select the 'Object repr.' you have noted before and choose 'Edit -> Copy as...'.
              o Enter a new name.
              o Press ENTER to confirm your entries.
              o Copy all dependent entries.
              o Press ENTER to confirm your entries.
              o Save your entries.
                c) Define a new object representation based on the object representation to be changed in the required graphical object type.
              o Select 'Object representation' in the Navigation window.
              o Select the 'Object repr.' to be changed and choose 'Edit -> Copy as...'.
              o Enter a new name.
              o Press ENTER to confirm your entries.
              o Copy all dependent entries.
              o Press ENTER to confirm your entries.
              o Save your entries.
              o Select your newly created 'Object repr.' and choose 'Graphical element type'.
              o Select 'New entries' and enter the respective graphic element type (see 1. c).
              o Delete the graphic element type to be replaced.
              o Save your entries.
                d) Insert a query for the respective graphic object type in the newly created object representation selection in the decision table so that the new object representation is displayed by the conditions specified through the system status or user status.
              o Select 'Object representation' in the Navigation window.
              o Select the new object representation selection and choose 'Decision steps' in the Navigation window.
              o Insert a line for the query of the status at a suitable position in the sequence 'Decision status, Sequence'. To execute this at order header level, you must specify a status comparison for structure AFKO, field OBJNR for which the new object representation can then be entered. Use field KBED-OBSTA if you want to evaluate the status at operation level.
              o Save your entries.
                e) Enter the new object representation selection in the new representation profile.
              o Choose 'Capacity leveling -> Technical settings -> Capacity planning table -> Define graphical object type selection'.
              o Select your 'GraObjSele' and choose 'Representation profile - overview'.
              o Select the representation profile you have created and choose 'Representation profile'.
              o Replace the object representation selection by the newly created selection for the required graphical object type and save it.
                f) Replace the available representation profile by the newly created one in your profile for the capacity planning table.
  • Unable to find oracle.dss.thin.beans.graph.ThinGraph package.
    Hi,
    How do i find this package. I am using JDEVELOPER 1.3 and i am able to generate graphs using the xml model method. What i want is to be able to generate the graph directly using a SQL without an XML.
    I want to use BI graph and generate graphs. SQL will be provided by me at runtime in the JSP and data returned by sql will be used by graph for plotting. How do i do this?
    http://oraclebi.blogspot.com/2005/11/using-bi-beans-with-non-olap-data.html
    i am using the above link as reference but was unable to locate or install the package where do i find it and how do i proceed..
    Please help
    Arjun Surendra
    Make sure that you have moved Oracle BI Graph to the right hand "selected Libraries" side.
    Also when you are under Profiles -> Development -> Libraries -> Oracle BI Graph. select Oracle BI graph & click on edit.
    under classpath you should see the associated jar files.
    Eg: C:\JDeveloper\jlib\bigraphbean.jar;C:\JDeveloper\jlib\bigraphbean-nls.zip
    Good luck!
  • VI time measured through the profile performance
    Hi all,
    My app works not so fast as usual and I decided to measure time with the profile performance tool. But times in a report are much less then the real times. What is the matter?
    Sorry for long silence. Here are my subVi's in attached files. They are parts of the big project and will not work by themselves. The subvi's work with one queue at the same time, but GetData.vi completes 100 while loops pretty faster than Dequeue&Graph.vi. It must be noticed that FastCorrection and Statistic connectors for Dequeue&Graph.vi were False during examination. When GetData.vi had stoped after 100 while loop cycles, Dequeue&Graph began to work faster, and I set this vi's to be executed in separated threads. But nothing have changed.
    Screenshot is attached also. Waiting for you comments.
  • CM21/cm25 sorting of user defined field in table area
    Hallo,
    I implemeted the field MARC-MATGR in the table area of the CM21 with user exit CYPP0005 and now I'm trying to use the user exit CYPP0002 for sorting in order of this field like explained in oss note 605217.
    I implemented the coding like shown in the examples of the user exits but sorting is not workiing.
    By debugging the user exit I'm not shure where I can change the internal tables to get a result sorted by this "MARC-MATGR".
    Perhaps someone can help me giving me an hint how the user exit is working and what has to be changed ?
    Thanks a lot in advance,
    Volker
    Dear ,
    I have posted a similar kind of reply in one of the thread  which may help u defining the User Defined Tabel /Filed .Just check this Out :
    For cm25/CM21 : Assuming that you have all the other set up for Capacity Requirement in place , please note the belwo steps for layout design for CM25 OR cm21 or cm22( all you will be used same overall profile )
    1.Make sure that you have proper Overall profile defined in OPD0-Define Overall profile .Here u will define Time Profile , Startegy prfoile . Lay out Profile etc .
    2.To paint your layout your soultion is to Goto -CY38-Pop down the menu -Select the Lay out Key which have been used as lay out -Goto Change Mode (Pencil symbol)-Now you will find the fields are high ligheted as per CM25 dipaly in a sequnce -You can un chekcde the Filed like Operation , Operation text , Setup what ever you do not want to show in Order Pool and Hit SAVE butotn and come back .
    CM25 --> Settings --> Display Profiles --> Planning tab.profile --> I01 --> Layout ID ( Example : 'SAPSFCLA05') which is Main Capacity Lay out id .
    If you goto CY38-Pop down the menu -You will find Main Capcitity Lay out Id : Example SAPSFCAS01 -Enter this lay out and chenage accordingly as I have explained in above
    Once you save this , then go back to CM25 and execute with coupe of work centres to check how is the order pool looks now .
    Refer this threade for Layout Id and option which u may need for CM25 front end
    Exception messages in CM21 or CM25
    I hope this should work
  • How to generate an s-curve graph/chart in labview
    I would like to generate my s-curve shape in a visible graph in a labview vi. Are there any quick/dirty vi's that can take position, accel/decel, vel and jerk value, and plot this into a time graph? Something akin Motion Assistant...
    I am able to construct a trapazoid graph using basic algebra within lab view, but cannot find a good formula to compute an s-curve. I am familiar with converting the jerk value to actual counts/s^3, but from there on, I do not know how NI-Motion calculates to accel, decel and velocity times. Thanks.
    Hello,
    What versions of LabVIEW and Motion Assistant are you using? Motion Assistant 1.2 exposes its API to LabVIEW and these functions can be accessed by opening LabVIEW and navigating to All Functions >> NI Measurements >> Motion >> Motion Assistant. Using these VIs, you can set up a move and use the Get Move Profile VI to obtain an array of points for the velocity profile.
    Beyond this method, there is no straightforward way to obtain those datapoints.
    If you have any questions about this method, please let me know.
  • How to determine the pixel positions of a line profile
    Hello,
    I was wondering if there was any possible way , when using the NIVison line profile, to get information on the actual position of each and every pixel the line profile used for its intensity values. Because i am using line profiles to reconstruct an image and i am getting pretty bad aliasing!
    Hi Big_Al,
    The Line Profile function is based around the IMAQ Line Profile VI, which takes a two parameters; a reference to the image we want to analyse and the co-ordinates of interest. It returns Line Information, the Global Rectangle, and our main value of interest, the Line Graph.
    The Line Graph
    This is a standard LabVIEW waveform cluster which is made up of three components: x0 (The initial x position of the selected line), dx (The increment value, which will default to '1' as we can't have half a pixel/two pixel voids in images) and finally Pixels Line which is an array of the pixel values we receive.
    Now, since we know the start position of the line (x0), we can simply iterate through the Pixels Line array to grab these invidual values per pixel. For example, if the line was five pixels long, Pixels Line would be comprised five elements. The first (0th) position in the array will be the x0 pixel position, then after that we'd have the x0+1 pixel value etc.
    Using this information, we can infer the positions of each of these pixels.
  • "Calculate Average" option for the Activity Usage Profile doesn't work
    I have the same problem as poster 793128 in a comment for a different thread: the "calculate average" profile option doesn't work for units (it works for cost though). I've used this option a lot on previous versions of Primavera but for some reason is not working on our new P6 release 7 (stand alone). As 793128’s post says: nothing happens, nothing changes, the profile keep showing totals, doesn't matter if the "base hours on time period" box is selected or if the divider is input by the user.
    The same option (calculate average / divide by) on the resource usage spreadsheet and on the tabular reports do work as expected so doesn't seem to be that I checked the wrong box for some user or administrator preference set up.
    Thank you for any help or clue. I posted this as a different thread because my original post was in a resource profile thread for a different issue that was already answered.
    *793365,*
    After reading your post I tested an older layout of mine that uses a similar setup and it still operates fine. On the "Resource Usage Profile Options" box under the "Graph" tab, I have "Calculate Average" checked and "24" entered in the "Divide interval totals by:" box.
    This allows my resource profile to display manhours per day for me.
    Some of my background info:
    I run in a multi-users platform and not in a stand alone setup.
    We have different resources loaded into the schedule with multiple calendars.
    I have several "Resource Filter/Group Names" setup for each separate resource on the "Data" tab too.
    Hope this helps,
    It took me forever to get GD to work at all. Now I'm totally stuck. I hope someone can help me. If I run my cgi file from terminal using "perl /Library/WebServer/CGI-Executables/GraphTest.cgi" it prints the "jpeg". If I run it from apache using "http://localhost/cgi-bin/GraphTest.cgi", I get an error saying "Can't locate GD/Graph/pie.pm" along with the typical PATH settings and such. Why can perl run the script without issue, but using web sharing/apache perl can't find the perl module? I assume this is an apache issue?
    More details:
    *I finally got GD installed using port
    *Every time I attempted to install GD and it failed, I erased the HDD and reinstalled OSX. So, this is a very fresh install.
    *This is Snow Leopard, not Snow Leopard Server
    *If I add the following two lines and run, "sudo perl /Library/WebServer/CGI-Executables/GraphTest.cgi" it will create the graph in my profile directory:
    I see some problems with your script, though they wouldn't be a problem with GD::Graph::pie. I'm not sure yet what that problem is.
    #!/usr/bin/perl
    $my_graph->plot(@data);
    print header('Content-type' => 'image/jpeg');
    binmode STDOUT;
    print $my_graph->gd->jpeg(100);
    Note that I included the CGI module, and printed a header with the content type before sending the graphic.
    If that script doesn't work on your computer, I'd be interested in seeing the output of this script (run by Apache, of course):
    #!/usr/bin/perl
    use strict;
    use CGI qw(:standard);
    print header();
    print qq(Perl version (Apache): ) . $] . qq(
    my $info = qx(perl -V);
    print qq(<pre>$info</pre>
    foreach my $key (sort keys %ENV) {
    print qq($key = $ENV{$key}
    I'd also be curious to see the results of "perl -V" vs. "/usr/bin/perl -V" run from the command line. Perhaps you are somehow using two different Perls...
    $my_graph->plot(@data);
    print header('Content-type' => 'image/jpeg');
    binmode STDOUT;
    print $my_graph->gd->jpeg(100);
    Note that I included the CGI module, and printed a header with the content type before sending the graphic.
    If that script doesn't work on your computer, I'd be interested in seeing the output of this script (run by Apache, of course):
    #!/usr/bin/perl
    use strict;
    use CGI qw(:standard);
    print header();
    print qq(Perl version (Apache): ) . $] . qq(
    my $info = qx(perl -V);
    print qq(<pre>$info</pre>
    foreach my $key (sort keys %ENV) {
    print qq($key = $ENV{$key}
    I'd also be curious to see the results of "perl -V" vs. "/usr/bin/perl -V" run from the command line. Perhaps you are somehow using two different Perls...
    Hi Charles,
    Thank you much for the reply. I changed my script to exactly what you requested. I got the same old...
