Code Error 5 message in Indesign CS4
Sorry second part, I brought a new internal hard drive for my desktop computer had Tekserve here in New York City install the hard drive in my Intel Mac IMac computer. Reloaded all of my Premium CS4 creative suite software into this new hard drive all with all of my other software fresh from the cd rons. I was also told about 6 months back that there may have been a problem with my internal computer's hard drive. So everything is fresh and I'm still having this same code error 5 and having Indesign CS4 tell me once again that my book file has a code error 5 happens. Adobe Indesign technicians tell me once this code error 5 happens the files are corrupted and can not be open again. So all this happen again using Idesign CS4 taking all of the steps above..

The problem is that we don't get the error code and/or the error message from the Javascript in oIndsgnSrvRes. The error code is always 0 if I set an Integer value as return in the Javascript. If I set a String, there is an Exception in the Java application.

Error message after transfering CS4 from my old computer
I am trying to transfer my CS4 suite onto my new macbook pro from my old macbook pro. I transfered all of my files from the old to the new but when I try to open a file in the applications I am getting this error message:

Also, my cs4 installation disc does not work. When I double click the setup button, the icon bounces and then disappears. Is there a way I can download the program and reinstall the suite using my serial number rather than using the disc? The first time I installed the program, I had the same problem with my purchased DVD's.I think you have used Time Machine to backup and move your data from old machine to new one. If so, your CS4 has gone corrupt and you might face such issues. You need to uninstall this existing installation of CS4 and then re-install CS4 again.
< Uninstall CS4 using its uninstaller from Utilities->Adobe Installers Folder
< Download and install the Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool and remove the reminents of Creative Suite applications.
< Empty the Temp folder(Go->Go To Folder->/tmp)
< Empty the Trash.
< Reboot the machine and install CS5.5
< Download Master Collection CS4 using the below link but make sure first you read the download instructions properly. http://prodesigntools.com/download-adobe-cs4-and-cs3-free-trials-here.html
< Install CS4 and check.

Tax code error - Message no. F5 113
Dear Team,
I am facing an error message while changing the tax rate for specific country. The entry was already existing and only the rate was changed.
When trying to post an invoice the error message appears:
Acct determination not defined for trans. OFF in chart of accts GROC
Message no. F5 113
Diagnosis
An automatic posting cannot be created because the account determination for transaction OFF with keys is not defined in chart of accounts GROC.
What could be missing since the original tax rate works and this one is failing?

Please check the following in your customising.
1) OBXL : Financial Accounting>Accounts Recievable and accounts payable>
business transactions>incomming payments>payment recp global settings>
overpayment/underpayment>Define accounts for payment differences.
2) In your G/L Account, the field status for REASON CODES should be set
to optional. Do not suppress this field.
3) The customer must be assigned to a Tolerance Group in master record.
Also you should customize the accounts
that should be used by the clearing program in the following path:
Financial Accounting -> Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
-> Business Transactions -> Outgoing Payments -> Manual Outgoing
Payments -> Overpayment/Underpayment
-> Define Reason Codes (Manual Outgoing Payments)
-> Define Accounts for Payment Differences(Manual Outgoing Payment)
You have to define the accounts for reason code ' ' (space).

Error message when installing CS4 design standard
When installation begins the "checking system profile" comes up and about 2 seconds later the follow error message comes up - "setup error - setup has encountered an error and cannot continue. Contact Adobe customer service". I installed on an older laptop I have to make sure the disk was fine and it installed just fine, so I don't think it is the disk. I have uninstalled previous Adobe product and run cleanscript for CS3 and CS4. I am using Window XP and the laptop has all the other system requirements Adobe lists for CS4 - Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!
Tend to agree. You probably downloaded a wrong language version of the installer. Doublecheck that and download again.

Sounds like an extension may be incompatible with CS4. Turn
them all off
and see if that helps. Then turn them back on one by one.

Error message in photoshop cs4
I am trying to download ExtractPlus into photoshop cs4 extended, and I get an error message that says "could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document. I realize I have to go into windows and change users etc. and I have yet the error box comes back regardless of what I do. Can anyone help? Thanks,
There are two versions of the plug-in in the Goodies folder, 32-bit and 64-bit. Each has the same name (why?) but sits in a separate folder. Each goes in the appropriate folder on your System drive. I would do both, regardless of which version of Photoshop you use now.

Error message Adobe InDesign has stopped working as soon as I open the application
I had a computer crash on Friday and I just reinstalled InDesign this weekend and it has worked fine. This afternoon I started to receive an error message that Adobe InDesign has stopped working and Windows will close the program and notify me if a solution is available. I've rebooted and closed every other program. I have also been downloading my lost files from Carbonite since yesterday and have paused the download. Do I need to uninstall the program and reinstall?
Use System Restore to go back before the crash.

I am having a strange problem. When I open an InDesign file, I get the error message above. Then windows is looking for a solution. I close the window and reopen the file and it opens right up. This problem does not occur if I open InDesign first then open the file. Only when I try to open the file and InDesign starts to run. I am running Windows 7 64bit. Any ideas out there?After an uninstall of InDesign and the antivirus software, no solution to the problem. I went into the startup menu and started doing selected start ups. I was able to narrow down the conflict to the "windows management instrumentation" program. When this is not running, I get the message that my ID has reached its activation limit and I need a new number or it needs to be deauthorized on at least one computer. There are a couple of other programs that need WMI to run as well. I did go in and delete the preferences since nothing I had was hard to recreate. Can the other files in the cache be deleted as well? Will ID look for them and recreate them such as the one in the recovery folder? Anyway, I had one document that I have been working on be rescaled-very strange. Everything else was unchanged. One other thing, when I would get the error message, I would close and then reopen the document without any problem. However, when I closed it again, even if all i did was view it without changing anything, I would get the prompt if I wanted to save the changes.
So does that help at all in narrowing down the problem? I have reinstalled the antivirus, and it did not affect anything. As long as I don't run WMI, I don't get the error message.

Error 5 launching InDesign CS4 on MacBookPro - help! :)
i installed indesign CS4 (i know, yes it's old!) on my MacBook Pro i5 running osx 10.9.3.
i get an error 5 -- so after reading docs, i saw i needed to download: LicenseRecoveryLauncher.app -- which i did.
but when i try to run it i get: you can't open this app because power PC apps are no longer supported.
is there a new version of this app? other error 5 fix? i need to be able to run CS4 on my macbook pro.Why not install CS4 on that machine then?
Work in a Dropbox folder and when you need to get those files back to CS3 open it on the other machine.
That said, CS3 is 7 versions behind CC2014. I’m not so sure I’d want to be saving back that far. -
Jurisdiction code error message in MIRO
Hi,
I have hidden a field "Smart Number" in all the layouts available in MIRO transaction as this field was not wanted in MIRO. Now I am trying to post an invoice verification for a scheduling agreement using the screen layout "9_6310 Purchase Order - Entry Sheet" in MIRO. System throws me an error message "Enter Jurisdiction Code". If I change the layout to "2_6310 Purchase Order - Delivery Note", system does not throw me any error. Does this error message appears because I made the "Smart Number" field hidden in screen layout configuration?
I have attached the screenshot of the error message.
Please suggest.

1st check plant available in your your PO for which you are doing MIRO.
Use t.code:OX10 and check jurisdiction code is assigned to your plant or not, if not assign it and save.
Now try MIRO for that PO.
Also cross check did you assign tax code(input tax code,you have in MIRO) with jurisdiction code to your company code in t.code: OBCL

I am using InDesign CC 2014. when I try to open it the error message comes up:
"Cannot load Adobe InDesign.exe because it requires BNCore. Please Install the BNCore plug-in and Restart Adobe InDesign."
How to fix this? Anybody help me? My operating system is Windows7.0BNCore.rpln should be in the \Adobe InDesign CC 2014\Required\ plugins folder, so that's the first thing to check. If it's there, see Replace Your Preferences. If not, reinstall.

Fatal error message: version cue CS4 not found
Just migrated everything to a new Mac Pro with Maverick. When I try to open a document in CS4, I get-Fatal Error: missing component. Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Version Cue CS4/Client/4.0/Version Cue.framework.
That file appears to be in my Library folder as it is shown in the error message. Ideas?

Stop the Internal Error Message in Fireworks CS4 or CS3
About 8 hours ago I ran into what is apparently a fairly
common problem for many people using Fireworks - the error message
that wouldn't allow me to save anything. Luckily, I paid attention
in class long enough to at least know to save my work often, so I
didn't lose much - just a basic wireframe that I threw together in
15 minutes or so. Thankfully, I tried saving when I did or this
would probably be a very tearful night for me. Instead, it's just a
long night. I can deal with that.
But, before I pat my iMac on the top of it's screen and say
"goodnight" I wanted to share with you the secret to "fixing" the
error message. Hopefully this will help those poor souls in the
future who need a little guidance from someone who's been there,
done that, and is too tired to design the t-shirt. This method will
also work on Windows machines.
I'm not saying this is guaranteed to work for you, but I'm
telling you it's worth a shot. It only requires a little of your
time to do and will hopefully be the fix you need. If it's not,
please accept my sincerest understanding of your frustration and
try another method. This fix suggests that you have added, removed,
or relocated fonts on your computer since the last time Fireworks
worked properly, however, even if you haven't done any of those
things I'd still recommend giving this a try. Here's what you do:
1. Open your favorite font manager software. I prefer the
pre-installed Font Book on the Mac, but you can use any font
manager that you want. Some good commercial font management
programs for Mac include, MasterJuggler, Suitcase Fusion, FontAgent
Pro, and Font Explorer X. For Windows you might want to try, Font
Fitting Room, X-Fonter, Suitcase for Windows, OT1 Font Manager by J
M Berthier, MainType, FontExplorer for Windows, Printer’s
Apprentice, FontAgent Pro for Windows, Typograf, or FontExpert.
Those are in no particular order, just in case you were wondering.
2. select all of your installed fonts - including your system
fonts. Run your "validate font" command for the font management
program you're using. Sit back and let it work. I had more than
6,000 fonts on my Mac, so it took a few minutes to run through all
of them.
3. Your font management program should let you know which, if
any, of your fonts are corrupt, duplicates, or otherwise
dead-weight. Chances are there will be a few if you're getting the
internal error message at start-up or save with Fireworks. You need
to delete or at least remove these fonts from the fonts folder. I
had, and I'm ashamed of this, 256 duplicates and 135 dead fonts on
my poor computer. But, in my own defense, I did just reinstall many
of the fonts a few days ago and was planning to gradually work
through them to pull out the dead/unwanted ones. I should have done
that before putting them to disc last time, but no... I wasn't
thinking.
4. once you have the fonts removed/deleted that produced
errors or warnings during the scan with your font management
program you might want to run the scan one more time just to be
sure you got everything out. If everything looks good, you can now
quit/exit the font manager.
5. here's where things will seriously divide for Windows
users and Mac users. Therefore, I'm not going to fully explain
where you need to go or how to get there for this step, but I will
provide the basics. On your computer, you need to find the folders
for fireworks that contain your preferences for the program (hint,
look in the user's appdata folders, which is hidden, for Windows or
the user's Library for Mac). Inside the preferences folder you'll
find a file that houses a list of fonts, probably called fontlist
or something very similar. Delete it. You might also wish to delete
the cache for the program preferences. Those need to be regenerated
in order for this to work.
6. Find your computer's font cache while you're looking
through the massive amounts of folders and delete the file there
too for a little added security that this will work.
7. restart your computer.
8. open Fireworks and create a new file. Save that file to
your computer in whatever format you want.
If the program opened, the file saved, and you didn't receive
