Collaboration tasks in portal

I am working on tasks in collaboration.
There are 3 tabs in the "Tasks" iview-
1.All Tasks,
2.Assigned Tasks and
3.Tracked Tasks.
How do I remove the "All Tasks" tab from the view?

Hello Brian,
Yes, per my previous response, the problem was fixed with SP16.  Interestingly, before we applied SP16, our workaround was entering our user id's in uppercase.  This prevented the problem.  Go figure...
Hope this helps you.  Have a great day!

  • How to add new fields in collaboration tasks?

    Hi experts,
Currently, by default, we are able to see in the collaboration tasks rooms fields as "Subject", "From", "Sent Date" , "Due Date" ,
    "Status"...
Now i want to add new custom fields apart from standard; when i create new tasks i want fill this new fields and after, display this fields in the UWL.
Can you please let me know how to add our own fields in the collaborations tasks rooms ?
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,

    Hi Victor Capi,
Could you have a look at the following link.
    http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/KMC/XMLFormBuilderinEP7.0
Formsbuilder open the collaboration project and you add the fields. Then import the xml to your portal.

  • Collaboration Task Table

    Hi All.
    We are in EP 7.0
I would like to know which table(s) store comments made by collaboration task participants. Does that table store workflow work item id as well?
We have a report requirement to produce list of comments made by participants against workflow work item id
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Zhenmin,
If your talking about thereads or comments that particepants post in collaboration room then you can proceed as follow.
Navigate to Content Administration - - >KM Content - - >Collaboration here in this folder you will find diffrent folders each for respective collaboration that are created in your portal
if this happens that this folder is not available then revert back to me.
If helpfull then please reward points.

  • Link to attachment not working in Collaboration Task

    Hi All,
We found an issue when we are attaching documents to a Collaboration
Task which is created from a Collaboration Room:
When we link documents that have been already stored in KM everything
works fine. However when we use the direct upload at Task generation
the links are not always accessible.
We found out that the URLs which are generated behind the links differ
    in one slash.
We are on EP 7 SP 14.
    Thanks & Regards,
    TC

Have you tried %20%20 in the code rather than spaces?
    Just a guess.
See if that works in RoboHelp's viewer.

  • UWL: status of collaboration tasks

    Hello SDN folks,
I'm currently struggeling with the following question:
Is it possible to add new custom status-values (already availables are inprogress, ceompleted etc.) for UWL collaboration tasks? I want to display the custom status-value then as an action in the context menu for the affected itemTypes.
If yes, yould you shortly give any hint where to start?
    Thanks for your efforts,
    Frank

    Hi Dwayne,
According to your description, my understanding is that you want to add a column into the document library to show the Task Status.
Assuming you create a new column called “Status” in the document library(called “doc_approval”) used as showing Task Status, then you need to create a new workflow on your tasks list.
You can design this workflow as the following screenshot, and set this workflow start automatically when an item is changed.
For the first red area, the variable:ID is an Integer.
For the IF condition, you need to set it like the below:

  • Collaboration Task separated from KM task

    Hello All,
In Collaboration  >  My Task, both  KM as well as Collaboration tasks are coming like Feedback, Approval etc..
    1) How can i segregate Collaboration Task from the KM Task in Collaboration Content?
    Collaboration Task - Using uwl.collaboration
    Home Task - Using uwl.standard
    2) Both are same or different?
    Regards,
    Mythili

    Hi
I can answer your second question
Home - Work - Overview -- uwl.standard - part of end user role
this leads to UWL Standard iview with full list of functions.
Collaboration Task - uwl.collaboration  - Part of collaboration Role -
This is pre-configured to list collaboration task Only.
    I hope i gave u some info to u

  • UWL Collaboration Task with Numeration

    Hello
Is it posible to customize Collaboration Tasks with xml-File so that the table displays an additional field (e.g. like tasknumber) for each new task entry?
If this requirement is only solvable by custom development, where can i find examples or tutorials about.
    Regards Michael

    Hi,
One way is to develop a java webdynpro application and launch it from your UWL. You can create the application which calls RFCs to retrieve data from R/3 and displays it in the application. You can also create the two buttons and assign appropriate actions for those buttons.
To launch the webdynpro application from UWL you need to configure the XML file. This is usually done with the help of SWFVISU transaction. But in your system (since it is of older version) this transaction might not exist. Hence you need to create the XML file manually and upload it.
Refer the following blog and some other blogs by Ginger Gatling for more idea.

  • Integrating Collaboration Suite, Oracle Portal and E-Business to SSO

    Hello,
I am in the middle of integrating several Oracle applications and one non-Oracle application to an Identity Management fresh installation.
I found the procedure to integrate E-Business to SSO, with bi-directional provisioning, but I am stuck with the integration of the next applications, Oracle Collaboration Suite and Oracle Portal:
    1. How to integrate them to my new SSO Server? is it enough with the ssoreg.sh script?
    2. What happens to the users? do I have to manually import them into my new SSO/OID install?
    3. What happens with new users? how do they get created? are they now created in the new SSO/OID server?
If someone has had any experience with this kind of tasks, I will really appreciate your feedback. Thanks in advance.

You might ask this question in the Streams forum. You might ask it in the e-Business Suite forum. You might ask it at metalink. But asking it here is not likely to get you the definitive answer you need. I would make sure, before I made such a business decision, I heard it directly from Oracle Support Services.

  • Cannot see SWFVISU tasks in Portal UWL after re-registering

    Hi,
    I am using EP7.01 SP3, ESS 1.0 SP 15, ECC6.
I do not see the tasks listed in SWFVISU in UWL even after registering the system alias in UWL Administrator. I have registered the alias on webflow connector, cleared cache. Logged off,
logged on and I still dont see the tasks.
I additionaly went to R3 transaction SWU_OBUF and synchronized the runtime buffer.
Then registered on UWL Admin, cleared cache.
    Any ideas on this?

    Hi Pramod,
    Thanks you for response.
I have restarted the portal, but it still does not show the tasks especially the ones for leave.
The portal landscape is a Global Portal as the consumer and the HR Portal(ESS MSS and other packages are installed) as the provider.
Im trying this directly on the HR Portal.
Do you think the Global portal has an effect on this?
I need to find a solution for this, but as a workaround is it possible to add the leave itemtypes(there are 3 item types for leave) to the current UWL. For example:
    <ItemType name="uwl.task.webflow.TS12300097.SAP_R3_HumanResources" connector="WebFlowConnector" defaultView="DefaultView" defaultAction="launchWebDynPro" executionMode="default">
          <ItemTypeCriteria systemId="SAP_R3_HumanResources" externalType="TS12300097" connector="WebFlowConnector"/>
          <Actions>
            <Action name="launchWebDynPro" groupAction="" handler="SAPWebDynproLauncher" returnToDetailViewAllowed="yes" launchInNewWindow="yes" launchNewWindowFeatures="resizable=yes,scrollbars=yes,status=yes,toolbar=no,menubar=no,location=no,directories=no">
