Collecting Email Addresses in Dreamweaver

I NEED HELP!!!! Can anyone PLEASE tell me specifically how I
can create a f
orm and collect email addresses. Actually I kinda know how to
create the form, but my problem is once I create it, how do I view
the email addresses that have been collected???? I would surely
appreciate any feedback.

You either write them into a database or into a file on the
server as they
are collected. What server scripting languages do you know,
and does your
host server support?

Workflow for collecting email addresses? How to...

I hope I can described what I'd like to do. I'd like to collect the email addresses from selected messages and add them to a Group in my address book. Sounds easy. I'm lost.
So: IF I get an email message where the subject is "from your web site" > COLLECT the email address of the sender and > ADD the address to the Group "Visitors" in my address book. Then I can easily send an email message to the whole group. Hopefully I can setup an email Rule to run the Automator action when new email is received. Applescript confuses me even more than Automator.
Anyone wanna help me thru this? Thanks in advance...

There is no way to remove them without restoring the device as a new device as roamingnome has stated. Eventually they will go away if you ignore them. It may take a while, but they do go away,

How can i collect email addresses from my web page viewers

I would like to set up a way that if my website viewers are interested (volunterily), they can submit me their email addresses or phone numbers for further contact.
How do I do this in iweb?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. You can use a Wufoo form like Alancito suggested or create your own link on this demo page: Form Action comment form.
The Form Action type of form uses the visitors email client to send the information to you. With Wufoo it's done from Wufoo. Wufoo does have a limit to the number of responses you get for free.

Can we collect email addresses and build a search function?

We want to build an app using InDesign, DPS and Edge Animate (plus some custom html5 and javascript if necessary/possible).
We'd like to have a form somewhere in the app where users can enter their email addresses if they want to receive email from us. Is this possible with these tools and some html5 and javascript brought in to InDesign?
Can we build a search function within the app that searches all the text?
I understand that by using a Folio Overlay, the app can bring in a web page. So, could we, for example, create a web page that shows latest stock prices, and then bring that into the Folio Overlay, so that the user always sees those latest prices? What happens if the user's iPad is not connected to the internet? Can we set a default image for the overlay? Also, will the app remember the page it downloaded last time if it can't connect at a later date?

How can I collect email-addresses from mails in my inbox?

Hey there!
I had to refresh my computer and didn't realize I would lose my address-book.
So now I have the newest version of thunderbird and thousands of emails newly downloaded, but nothing in my address-book.
I'd love to send emails to people just by starting to type their name again, instead of hunting for old emails sent by them..
I found there are add-ons like address-crawler or Incoming Addresses Collector, but they seem to not be compatible with the new thunderbird.
Is there an alternative to reinstalling an old version of thunderbird, downloading all the emails again, using the addons, export them into the new version?

You may want to create a separate address book for collection, then right-click a folder to access the Crawler options.

Collecting email addresses from users?

Hi,
Firstly, I don't want to do this but it is, unfortunately, something about which clients are going to ask.
We downloaded a DPS app and promptly got emails promoting the company.
I would have thought that this is either against Apple's iTunes policy or difficult to achieve with Adobe DPS without using (and I'm guessing here) a third party push notification system or similar.
Does anyone have any guidance about what's acceptable and how to achieve it?

Can you schedule a report to send to a email address that is pulled from a database field?

Currently, we are collecting email addresses in a database field. We want to send the generated reports to only these email addresses. Is there a way to add a dynamic value to the "To:" field when scheduling a report?
The goal is to schedule the reports and let them be sent to these addresses so it removes the step of manually entering the addresses.

It's not clear what tool you are using to schedule your reports.This may require a 3rd-party tool. See list of such tools at: http://www.kenhamady.com/bookmarks.html. My Visual CUT software allows you to drag & drop an email field/formula from the report itself into the "Email To" option, to dynamically drive email options by the data in the report. Alternatively, it allows you to use an SQL Query or a Text file to specify email addresses.- Ido

User Profile email address not updated on Site Collection User Information

Hi All,
Ok here we go....SharePoint 2007 with SSP profile sync not enabled, however I have a few profiles I need to update (email address). This has been completed by editing the user profile in SSP, but when viewing the information via Site Collection >
People & Groups > User Information "Work E-mail" is still showing the old one.
All alerts are still being sent to the old email address, SSP DB UserProfile_Full shows the new email address as per SSP.
Anyone know where else user profile emails are stored which is used by Exchange?

Dreamweaver CC - In App Next to Email Address, Apply Updates?

I'm working in Dreamweaver CC on Mac OS X Yosemite and when I go to Dreamweaver ->email address ->Apply Updates is there. Does this mean I need to apply the updates to the program? I thought that was accomplished when the "Cloud" icon on the desktop stated there was an update. Am I wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Finally figured this one out.
It happens when oracle.install.db.config.starterdb.type is set to TRANSACTION_PROCESSING.
Apparently "TRANSACTION_PROCESSING" and "GENERAL_PURPOSE/TRANSACTION_PROCESSING" are not valid types, even though the response template file and the response file generated via OUI list the following:

Im trying to collect payments thru PayPal, however I get an error that my email address is not confirmed in paypal

I created a form in Adobe Forms Central to collect payment thru my PayPal account, however in the registration process after granting permissions to link the accounts, I get an error from Adobe that my email address is not confirmed in PayPal, when indeed it has been confirmed. I double checked the email setting in PayPal an the address is confirmed.
Error Message: [ref: formFailedRegPaypalEmailNotConfirmed]

Your best bet would be to try resetting the password to the account that you would like to use via iForgot
Once you log in to that account change the email address to anything, it can even be fake its just a placeholder
After you do that you will be free to change your old email address on your appleID to the new one that is now free to be used as it is no longer attached to the other account.

Only a fraction of the email addresses I have received mail and sent mail to show up i my collected addresses list.

I have thousands of email addresses I have sent to and received from but maybe 50 show up in my collected address list. I want to export my emails contacts but I can't find the majority of those names and addresses.

Do you have 'File' > 'Use Mac OS X Address Book' selected?

Did you see my answer posted earlier in this string? "Apparently at the latest Thunderbird upgrade, the Mac OS reset a security preference. Found under System Preferences/Security & Privacy is a check box to Allow Thunderbird to access CONTACTS. Now all my Mac Address Book contacts are visible." The problem is she entered an email address she thought might be mine ,but actually used by someone else .She said no password was set up .My understanding is an email must have been sent to that address and he or she can set up the password and download .And now I set up an new ID under the ICloud but still the wrong email address still appear as a default one .I tried to delete the set up but I was asked for the password which we don't have .

How do I edit Send button designated email address on a web form in Dreamweaver CS6?

I have a webform on our website for folks requesting information. There is a country button which folks select. The send button submits the form and there is some script somewhere that sends submissions from say a USA based enquirer to a USA email address, UK based enquirer to a UK address, etc. How can I edit the script that controls that function? I am a newbie in CS6 but am learning fast!

In the source code I have:

If I click on </form> in Properties the action box shows an asp file /gdform.asp on the root. I opened that and it has no site specific info, i.e. my URL or any email address.
The webform can be viewed on www.aboutmeco.org/opportunities/index.html   Ther you see the Send button is at the bottom of the webform, which corresponds to the source code.   Do you think I am looking at the right form tag?
