Collection Management_Org Structure

Hi Experts,
Need suggestion to map below Org Structure in Collection Mgmt.
Scenario : Company tracks its customers on 3 levels i.e.
1) Co. ID i.e. SAP International
2) National Id  i.e. SAP Germany, SAP India
3) AR Level i.e. Within SAP India : SAP Labs & SAP GDC
User want to report/process Open Items at all 3 levels i.e. He wants to see collection work list at Co. Id level and then drill down to Nat Id and then finally to AR level . In collection we are able to report / process the Open Items only at particular AR level/customer level.
Can anyone suggest how we can map this scenario in Collection Mgmt. Anything possible with change in BP structure/relationships etc.
Any suggestion/idea is welcome !

Thanks for your reply and sorry for my late reply.
We had further discussion with users and tried some other approach. User  team has agreed to move from 3 level to 2 level structure.
For this we made some changes in BADI FDM_COLL_SEND_ITEMS and FDM_COLL_DETERMINE_BRANCH. Also we have created a Z-table in which we are mapping Customer and BP (Many to 1 relationship).  Ex. Cust 1 , Cust 2 , Cust 3 are mapped to BP1.
So whenever we sending FI open items from FI to Collection Mgmt , program is picking open items of these 3 customers and putting them against BP1.
In worklist we are able to see the combined sum of these 3 customers against BP1 but when we go inside the worklist to process it (customer contact) we see only open items of only 1 customer (last one) instead of all 3 customers which we expected. 
Can you please let me know where are we going wrong or is there any other approach which we can follow. Thanks again for your response and awaiting your advice on this

  • Export images to a directory structure based on a collection tree?

    A question:
    Will lightroom have the capability to export images to a directory structure which mirrors a collections logical structure?
    The reason I ask this is that when I create websites using third party tools (eg, Jalbum) I typically generate a flash or HTML based site with an menu structure for navigating the images.
    So, the image interface is not simply a "flat-file" display as per the templates in Lightroom beta.
    To do this, with previous image management tools (eg, iMatch) I create a hierarchy of images based on the categories (or collections) that the images are assigned to, export the images in a folder tree reflecting their categories (or collection), then use, say, Jalbum, to generate the website with the menu tree reflecting the folders/images.
    This is extremely useful for more complicated image websites with categories and a large no of images.
    If this function was built into Lightroom I guess it would be in the export function such that the "write to folder" box could take an argument {collection name} which would create a folder tree reflecting the collections logical tree which is being exported.
    Apologies if this topic has been raised previously. But this function is extremely useful if you are using third party html tools or simply building websites by hand.

    I started simmilar thread in Lightroom Feature Requests few months ago, but can't find it anymore since new forum version...
    What I can suggest as a new feature is export to directory structure from collections or second option from keywords. Probably more usable and easier to implement would be from collections.
    What I need it to export many photos to different directories pretty often, and this would be great help since I could arrange them in collections and collection sets. Then select collection set and export it in a manner that collection set would be main export directory, and each collection within the set would be exported to its own folder within main collection set export folder.
    This would be much appreciated feature in near future

  • Changes in extract structure

    Hello All,
    The extract structure for 2lis_11_vaitm has been changed and since then whenever I try to execute the datasource using RSA3.
    I get an error Import_mismatch_error.
    The extractor was working fine in dev. So I collected one structure which was missing in quality.
    After releasing the same in quality, I deleted the setup tables and did run RSA3 - I got 0 records.
    As per the SAP note 328181 - the old Sales orders are not compatible with the new structure and so we get the same error.
    If any new documents are posted they will come in RSA3. How do I make sure that in Production I dont miss any data?

    I found one error description though:
    Error when resetting DataSource 2LIS_11_VAITM                 OKQCLNT332 to the active version
    Message no. RSO410
    Diagnosis
    Errors arose when activating DataSource 2LIS_11_VAITM. An active version already existed before theactivation.
    System Response
    DataSource 2LIS_11_VAITM  could not be resetto the old active version. Since the generated objects no longer correspond to the old active version, they were reset to inactive.
    Procedure
    The old active version of DataSource 2LIS_11_VAITMcan no longer be used. Remove the cause ofthe activation error and activate DataSource 2LIS_11_VAITM   anew.

    Is there anyway that we can create a Template of a Collection Set Structure?
    I have a particular Structure Set that I use for my Collection Sets, and the Collections within them for each time I do a shoot session.
    Is there anyway that I can streamline the process of making these structures instead of doing it one collection at a time?
    I can't seem to find it at the moment. A possibility for the Future?

  • Insert, search, delete performance overhead for different collections

    Hi,
    I am trying to create a table which compares performance overheads for different collections data structures. Does anyone want to help me out? I want to put a number from 1 - 9 in each of the question marks. 1 being very poor performance and 9 being very good performance (the reason I am doing this is that I had this question in a job interview test and I didn't pass it)

  • Collective production order---GR/GI problem

    Dear guru
    My scenerio is collective production order. I have created PUMP header material and 2 component in that component i have maintained 52 special procurment key . and automatically 3 production order are created .
    Now I want to create a stock of header material (PUMP) .
    Actually I tried through MB31 and I do GR of header material and stock is also created to this material .
    but my question is wht about chlid component ? that child component production order is still in MD04 .
    so how it will consume . or  have i made some mistake or tell me rt.  scenerio.of (GR/GI)?

    GR is done for Main order only and document also post for main order. This is standard SAP funcitionality.
    Confirmation is carried out same as normal Production order,
    If u do the confirmation for suborder in the collective structure - the automatic goodsmovements taken place between the production orders in collective structure.
    Since suborder materail is directly produced , when confirm the "suborder", the produced qty will issued automatically to "superior order".
    There is no seperate goods issue is needed for superior order in collective order structure.
    After confirming the suborder, u can confirm the superior order, and make GR for finished product.
    For above process "Collective order with goods movements" check box should be activated for Order type at OPJH

    You may create several production orders from several planned orders, provided that the planned orders exist in the same plant and belong to the same MRP controller. This is called collective order conversion.
    A collective order is a linking together of planned orders or production orders over several manufacturing levels.
    Every production order has its own routing and order number.
    When you are in the collective order structure, you can edit an individual order, a subtree, or the entire collective order.
    Goods movements are not required for sub-assemblies. The material is passed on directly to the next
    order up.
    The special procurement key determines whether direct production is involved.
    Since no goods movements are required for sub-assemblies, this means that you have less data to maintain. Goods movements are only required for the leading order and for components whose special procurement key does not stipulate that direct production should be used.
    Changes to dates and quantities affect all related orders.
    The actual costs of the production process are more realistic because they are not influenced by the
    predefined price in the material master.
    Master Data.
    Special procurement key "52" on MRP 2 view
    Individual Collective Flag MRP4 view
    Bills of material and routings at each assembly level
    Any structure possible

    I use associative arrays in my application, this kind:
    TYPE ADRESSETT IS TABLE OF mig.ADRESSE%ROWTYPE INDEX BY BINARY_INTEGER;
    A good many times I need the count of elements in this arrays.
    Of course I can use the COUNT method for this purpose.
    However could it be faster to maintain a simple counter which is incremented and decremented on inserting/deleting elements
    from the array?
    How expensive is the COUNT method? Does the method really calculate the count every time new?

    ThomasIf you know anthing about arrays/collections/linked lists etc. (all the sort of stuff taught in the basics of programming in the first year of university), then you'll know that retrieving the count of the number of 'elements' in those things is part of what they are about. The count method doesn't have to 'calculate' the count every time, as it will be held in the collections internal structure and internally maintained every time something is added/deleted. It's not going to be an expensive operation to perform as it's just going to return the value of an internal value that is already known.
    Of course, it's far easier to avoid collections altogether as they use expensive PGA memory, and instead process your data using SQL directly against the database tables.

  • Call Master_idoc_distribute for collective outbound idocs

    I want to process outbound idocs (4 idocs collectively) using master_idoc_distribute FM. I am calling master_idoc_distribute inside a FM and assigned it to process code outbound. It is working for one idoc but not for 4 idocs.
    How can i call the master_idoc_distribute for sending out 4 idocs one at a time.

    Ok. I guess the requirement was wrongly typed. Ok here is the requirement.
    I basically want to take a collective idoc in R/3 and cal master_idoc_distribute to create and send idocs. This is my collective idoc structure.
    EDIDC
    --+ E1STZUM
    --+ E1STZUM
    where 'E1STZUM' repeats for each idocs. In the above structure, there are two idocs in one idoc which is a collective idoc.  So i want to write a logic to take the first segment E1STZUM and call master_idoc_distribute and then call the second segment E1STZUM and call master_idoc_distribute FM again and so on depends on how many segments. How can i write a logic to loop at idoc_data and call FM master_idoc_distribute. I am not a core ABAP programer. So pls do send me sample code with comments if possible.

  • Collective Order

    Dear All,
    I would like to make a collective order meaning that I want to link a couple of production orders under one main 1 but ALSO be able to GR each to a different storage location.
    If I use Special procurement 52 it wont allow me to GR any of the Production Orders and by default sends it to the main order.
    Is there a work around for this where I could have each one individually collected in different storage locations but meanwhile have them linked together under co01

  • Problem With Collection Sets

    Wow, I am really regretting upgrading from v1.  What used to be simple catalogueing tasks are now so frustrating, long winded and unreliable my temper is being tested daily.
    I regularly photograph either similar events or the same annual events and like to organise my photos into collections, sub collections etc.  For a new event once I have got the structure of collections set up in my mine catalogue I was then able to export this as a new catalogue to use as a template for future events.  I started doing this as a result of great advise on this forum, as a work around for not being able to copy collection structures within a catalogue.  The result was I didnt need to keep setting up a structure of many collections for each event, I could use the template catalogue and import this into the main one when the photos were organised.
    So then I moved to Lightroom 3
    First I found that with the introduction of collection sets I could no longer have nested collections and had to use nested collection sets with only the final level as a collection.  A pain in the neck and one which meant my exisiting catalogue needed weeks of work to correct, in addition to an alteration to my workflow which still isnt ideal.
    Because of this I have now been trying to exprot my revised structure of collections and collection sets as new templates for the reasosn mentioned above.  But I can't becuase lightroom does not allow exporting collection sets, only collections i.e. one level, meaning this great workaround is no longer available.
    So I thought what I would do is copy my catalogue, delete everything in it but the collection set structure I wanted for each event, and then use this as a template.  Very time consuming but hopefully it would solve the problem.  But it didn't as when I import the catalogue there seems to be a limit as to the number of collection set levels that get imported, meaning the lowest levels and hence the collections dont import, i.e. all the organisation is pointless as the photos import but not the collections.
    So I thought OK I would move one of the collection sets from its parent to the top level and get around it this way, meaning I just have to do a little reorganisation after importing it.  Not ideal, but hopefully it would solve the problem.  Guess what, it doesnt.  I move the collection set (and with it all its child sets and collections) to the top, and when I delete the collection set which used to be the parent, all the child sets and collections disappear from the new top level set.
    Thsi is so frustrating.  In 20 years of using software I have never before experienced a product that removes / fundamentally changes the way in which it works so drastically as this.
    If anyone has any ideas how I can get around this I'd really appreciate it

  • Collection Management Module

    Hi all gurus,
    Can somenody tell me how many hours a single FI-consultant might have to spend to configure the complete Collection module? I am the only SAP resource at the client side with no ABAPer or any other FICO team. Neither do I have a MM consultant. Please guide me with the resources required to configure Collection management module.
    Please be realistic guys as I have to mention it in a meeting to save my job.

    In terms of the config, it can be pretty easy, but you need to consider how the client want to use the system?
    Have you designed the Collections Org structure?
    Do you know anything about Collections Management, from a SAP part of from a business process part.
    The system is fairly open, so I would allow some time for ABAP as the process is held together by BADI's.
    You also need to have a good understanding of the Business Partner processes, how they work, and how they interact with customers.
    To give you an example of a Dispute and Collections Management project. We had around 60 days of FICO time, around 60 days of ABAP time, around 30 days of Workflow time.
    This included the design of the system, the build of the system and the full three test cycles, Unit testing, Integration testing and User Acceptance testing.
    This does not include the data migration, which you need to consider and the training.
    I would suggest you contact a SAP PArtner consultancy to assist you.

  • Removing navigation collections from Main Menu

    CRM 9.2/Tools 8.53.  How do you make the dashboards and centers NOT appear in the Main Menu?  I deleted the centers (Navigation Collections) from Structure and Content / Portal Objects.  They still appear in the Main Menu but now clicking on them returns a message that Navigation Collection cannot be found.  This is not the solution we're looking for.  We would like to make certain navigation collections not show on the main menu.

    Magic Item: Window
    Command Type: Null

  • Problem with sorting and filtering of table

    Hello,
    using VC 7.1 SP5 I have created [this|http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/2460/screenshotsr0.png] model. The webservice returns a collection of structured elements. The table is meant to display values of top-level attributes. This works as expected.
    However, the table cannot be sorted or filtered. What is the reason for this? How can I fix that?
    I tried to store the result of the web service in a data bridge. That did not succeed.

    How are you trying to sort it?
    I want to be able to sort the table by clicking on the table column headers. Furthermore, I want be able to filter the table by using the built-in table feature. However, table sorting and filtering seem to be disabled for this particular table, whereas other tables in my model provide the desired features.
