Como alterar o título dos menus Drag & Relate? (Urgente)

Prezados,
Alguém poderia me auxiliar se é possível ou não alterar o título das linhas do menu Drag & Relate?
Uma vez que eles não são tratados como Menu, ou sejam, não possuem um MenuID, para fazer a alteração como a de um menu padrão.
Alguém já passou por esta situação, que poderia me auxiliar?

Depois de muito tentar posso te assegurar que até o PL 36, não existem funcionalidades para isto.

Incorrect access restriction in Drag & Relate

Hi,
I am encountering an access issue in Drag & Relate function. I have created two numbering series for Purchase Orders. PO and YPO. "User 1" can access the Purchase Orders with the series PO and "User 2" can access the ones with "YPO". I have set the authorisations for Series for the mentioned users.
When "User 1" tries to view the Purchase Order for an item in Drag & Relate, the system displays the list of Purchase Orders for this item regardless of the Series. If the "User 1" tries to drill down the Purchase Orders with series "YPO", the system correctly blocked the user from accessing the details as he has no rights to view the series "YPO".
However, if there is one Purchase Order for the searched item, in Drag & Relate the system does not block the user to drill down and view the details.
How can I restrict access if there is one Purchase Order for an item and user is not supposed to see the mentioned Series?

Drag&Relate with error 'no matching records found' when adding UDF columns

in SBO 2007A I added a large amount of UDF fields to marketing documents title section. Then I tried Drag&Relate, as result i got only the error 'no matching record found ....'.
I removed some of the UDF Fields and Drag&Relate works correct. It seems to be a length problem of the table row. But I have no information about such a restriction and the error message dont say anything about length problem.
Does anybody know about this behavior and the maximum length of table rows, or is there any other solution to fix this problem?

there are approximatly 170 fields and most of them are alphanumeric (internaly nvarchar(max)) - when i remove 2 fields it works.

Item Filter in Drag & Relate menu is case sensitive

I'm trying to do Filter Table in Drag & Relate - Sales Order Details with this criteria Item Description contains = 'color', the filtering did not give me any record. Instead i must key-in 'COLOR' in big caps. Does anyone try this? Thanks

The way drag and relate works is as follows:
1.You click on Drag and Relate.
2. You can click on say Sales -A/R to expand its submenu items
3. You double click on say Sales Order, it opens up all the sales orders for all the customers. You can close this if you want now.
4. You now have to open something else, suppose you want to find out all sales orders for a busines partner then you click on open BP either through modules tab or drag&Relate tab. Your choice.
5. Place your curser on BP code and press and hold left mouse button. Now drag that code and drop it on the SaleOrders submenu within Sales-A/R of DragAndRelate.
Result Voila, you got your sales orders for that BP (Customer).
The way you are using does not seem right. You can not arbitarily drag and drop everything and anything. You can drag and drop BP Code, Item Code etc.

Portal Runtime error during 1, 2, 3 Drag & Relate?

I have successfully install SR1 version of the EP6. I am attempting to complete the "1, 2, 3 Drag&Relate" weblog. During one of the steps you have to go to User Administration > User Mapping to set the Everyone group user mapping.
I am using sa id and the password I set during my SQL installation.
As I click save button after entering the input I get this error:

An exception occurred while processing a request for:

Hi Jin,
I think SAP note number 796540 will be helpfull to you.
It was known User Management issue which is not connected to any Unification feature.
Personal advice: try to restart Portal server.

Define main objects for Drag & Relate between BW 3.1 and EP6

hi all.
We are trying to implement Drag & Relate between BW 3.1 and EP6.
We have 2 different BW reports based on the same object "0MATERIAL". One of them should be a source and the other is the target. When creating the iViews for these reports the "main object" property has no values, therefor we don't see any symbol near the object we want to drag. The import of the "0MATERIAL" object from BW to the portal was successful.
Is it related to customizing the BW system or the portal?

I solved the problem - I added the BW alias before the main object name in the main object property. For example "BW.0MATERIAL" when BW is the BW system alias and 0MATERIAL is the object name.

Drag&Relate in SAP Portal 7.0

Hello experts,
I have a problem in SAP EP 7.0. I need to use Drag&Relate technology but in this version is not possible because this functionality is discontinued. The reason is that there is a technical reengineering of the Distributed Query Engine (DQE) technology.
But, what can I do? Is there any way to reproduce similar functionality?

I have the same problem, only that I am using EP 6.0 SP16. The DQE doesnt start because of the "Technical reengineering" and there are a number of related functions that are not available in the portal..
For example, I am not able to add Drag and Relate targets to iViews, there is no option for adding it in the detailed Navigation. There is also no Unification section in System Administration. I am really frustrated about it..
Have you found out anything regarding Drag and Relate technology and if it will be continued again in the future? Do let me know if you have found anything regarding it.

So all the steps mentioned in that i have followed properly but in Content Admin --> unification under Business Objects i do get sales and stores and i define them according to weblog as source and destination but under edit mode Relation Type is Empty which i think should be manual or something and all the other things are same as shown is screen-shot of the weblog and also in the enduser screen i get message
Query execution failed. Exception message: Error trying to execute a query statement against MetaMatrix: Error trying to establish connection to the EIS : null
So i have no clue what could be possible problem

we also face this problem some times. at this particular issue...
we should make report 4r month wise only y because our excel sheet contains 65000 lines limit if ur drilling down more fields
from free characterisitc. it cant display.
IF ur case is mandetory to drag 2moths r 3months. just try to reduce drill down fields (r) if this also mandetory, use 2010 microsoft sheet 4r reporting this can use up to 1lac line.
if this also not working. just do this, let me give one example if we r drilling down material & customers 4r 3-4months. one customer can buy N number of material so it will eceeds. just see wht ur drilling down first material (r) customer. if first material & customer this is not working, drill customer & material.
think this will help, any way let me know wht happen.

Drag & Relate Icon not displayed

While I am doing drag and relate scenario, the Drag & Relate Icon displayed in the iView's Preview. But when i logged into my portal it is not displayed?
After assigning the Super admin role, then it is displayed.Please let me know whether the Super admin role is required or else any other role to be assigned instead of Super admin role??

Hi Senthil,
The user viewing the iview should ve the permission "full control " and "end user" for the system and iview. I guess for the super admin, the permissions are given correctly. Thats why you are able to get the Icon displayed.
Instead of assinging permissions to the role, set permissions for users.

Drag & Relate scenario

Hello,
I have setup R/3 in the portal for drag & relate, and i have a custom iView which I want to use with the R/3 for drag and relate. the iView is the drag & relate target, it needs to be able to (when we drop "something" on it) get the parameters from the the object using the drag & relate context (?) and use them for further processing - i.e use the params in a query , etc. I would like to know, how exactly do i do that? Is that done programatically, or rather from the portal? Do I need to change my iView in order to enable it for drag & relate, and to act as a target? If yes, should i also do that programatically, or by setting up the iView properties? Thank you very much in advance.

regarding your questions:

A: This is done in the portal.
(2) Do I need to change my iView in order to enable it for drag & relate, and to act as a target?
A: Yes, Changing iView properties.
(3) Change iView properties according to the iView type you use. Take the Unification Cookbook from SDN as a practical help for that.

Drag & Relate between two BW reports

Hello together,
I want to implement the Drag&Relate functionality between two BW Reports via EP 6.0. I have configured the connection between Portal and BW with the report RSPOR_SETUP. The SingleSignOn and the import of business object is working well. After that, I took 2 BW testreports which were prepared for D&R. When I now drag the customernumber of report1 to the target report2, I get the error message "No relation found between the source and target business objects". The business object in both reports is 0CUSTOMER, so what relations should be set?
Where is the mistake, could anybody help me?

Hi Gerd,
You have to link the two iviews. First double click the first iview. Then right click the second iview and make it as the target iview. Then in the navigation panel you see the other iview in the Drag and relate section.

Drag&Relate and Related links iviews are 2 different types of iviews.
1) Drag&Relate iview is part of the unification capability of the portal which can be used to get meaningful data by creating relations between business objects. Check

Drag & Relate Issue.

We are on EP 7.0 and SP13. Definately we are able to use drag and relate feature as from SP12.
I have imported BO ( BUS0008 PLANT, BUS 2004 PLANNED ORDER, KNA1 CUSTOMER)
2 Transaction ivew were created as of on bus2004 (order), kna1(cusomer)).
Unification relation is mannual (bus2004 as source) , (kan1 as target) , Alias_1.OBJECTKEY=Alias_2.OBJECTKEY
Problem is when i drag ORDER no from planned order iview to Customer (which is visible as target iview with green icon beside it) i get a message **** The following capability is not supported: Full Scan****
Has anyone faced this issue ? Any possible solution. Last quest when the system object to * SAP R/3* is defined do we need to aslo specify (Drag & relate SERVER) parameters ? If so wht will the paramters.
Already gone through blogs so any thing other than that will help.

In case it matters, we are on BW 3.5 SP 18 with SAP GUI 6.40 Patch 22.
I don't know how to change this globally, so I will have to leave that to other gurus...
To change this setting for a query, go to Query Designer and open the query. Click on the Query Properties button at the top of the screen, then choose the "Display" tab. At the bottom of the Display Options section at the top left is the "Display Drag&Relate Links" option. Make sure the checkbox for this option is not selected (unchecked).

We have a java servlet external to SAP portal that we want to interface to a SAP document. Using drag and relate we want to pass SAP document type and number to the servlet URL. Can some one point me how make that happen in Portal us9ing drag & relate?

You can use HRNPService for creating HRNP links.
The javadocs for HRNP will be fully available from SP10, but I will provide a sample code for creating HRNP links:
