Computer is freaking out. Help!

a little while I got my Mac fixed and all it's RAM replaced. Afterwards when I did a system update it had a few interesting side affects. It only allows you to have one program running at all (that includes Finder) so I can't switch between programs and when I try to open a new program it says it's incomplete or damaged. Ex. I'm in iTunes try to open Safari, computer tells me program is damaged. 2nd ex. I'm in Safari next time I turn on my computer I try to open iTunes and it says it's damaged or incomplete. It also only let's me open a new program in the first 30sec of starting up, after that every programs comes up damaged or incomplete.

Try using Disk Utility to do a Disk Repair, as shown in this link, while booted up on your install disk.
You could have some directory corruption caused by the bad RAM. Let us know what errors Disk Utility reports and if DU was able to repair them. Disk Utility's Disk Repair is not perfect and may not find or repair all directory issues. A stronger utility may be required to finish the job.
After that Repair Permissions.
No need to report Permissions errors....we all get them.

Help, My computer is freaking out

OK, maybe someone here can shed some light on whats going on (please keep in mine I'm a newbie).
I have a KT3V ver 1.0 (ms-6712)mainboard (says it will support 333 FSB), a AMD 3000+ processor (333Mhz FSB), 512MB DDR SDRAM/PC3200, geforce 4200ti dual monitor vid card, 80 gig HD, XP pro, cd burner, DVD player etc.
I have several questions:
#1 - Why doesnt my computer recongize the 3000+ processor. While playing with settings, it shows as anywhere from 1.275 mhz to 1.725 mhz, is it running at those speeds or is it just not showing the correct info in system info?
#2 - With this set up, I would assume that I should not have any "slow down" issues. However I have a real problem with my music (music match) breaking up severly when opening new programs.
#3 - where is a good place on the net to learn more about overclocking, bios settings etc?
Any help would be greatly Appreciated.

No I havent updated the Bios (I played with settings and froze it up so I've been kinda afraid to change it again)
My board clearly says KT3V with model # ms-6712 version 10A on it, is that wrong?
Why will I only be at 2.18 Ghz? Will this board not handle the 3.0?
If the board & processor says it will support 333 Mhz FSB, why isnt that an option is Bios (only goes up to 280)?

My computer is freaking out! A bunch of weird lined symbols appeared on my screen and then it told

Weird symbols appeared on my screen. The screen then told me to restart. I did and this happened 3 times. I just did a sage reboot but it has a gray screen andseems to be taking a long time . what happened and how do I fix it??

And now the lined symbols are back!

Computer freaking out

i have a powerbook g4 1.67 ghz laptop and the past two days it's been freaking out. last month, it got the harddrive replaced (it crashed) the motherboard replaced and the screen replaced (screen flickering).
but as of yesterday, it's had a few issues, upon startup, instead of going to the grey/white background with the apple logo, it proceeds to stay black for 5 minutes than will start up normally. it's never done that before and the black screen scares me, i've tried resetting pram, etc, nothing is appearing to work.
second if i close the laptop it just shuts off and i have to restart it. i've always had it on going to sleep mode and it no longer is doing that and i must restart.
third, the battery light is green and appears to be fully charged, but the computer says it's only 61% done. and it can't even calculate estimated time.
any help to any of these questions would be great. i've been researching it and trying to find answers but no avail

Who did these repairs last month? I would take it back to them, hopefully they warranted their work.

Help meeeee.... iTunes is freaking out!

ITunes keeps locking up (spinning beachball) whenever I:
1-try to eject my nano
2-Try to quit iTunes
3-My finder freezes too sometimes
I also cannot add music to my nano without it freaking out: beachball spins for an eternity. I've had tp manually shut down my computer several times. I've had to pull my iPod out when it says "do not disconnect." I tried TP2GO's solution here:

But when the screen came up from booting with COMAND S held down, it kept timing out every 5 seconds and I simply did not have a chance to type in /sbin/fsck -fy as I he directed.
Note-
I keep my iTunes music folder on an external. Recently I noticed some songs were not being saved there, so I manually moved them and then i went into iTunes preferences and confirmed that my music was still being saved to that folder. It was....I think.
Ever since, I've had lots of problems.

That's a comment in the file. It has no effect at all.

To use the keyboard to empty the Trash, press Command-Shift-Delete (that's the large Delete button two rows above Return).
Normally, to delete a locked item when emptying the Trash, one would press Option while selecting Empty Trash from the Special menu. However, adding Option to the Command-Shift-Delete combo does not seem to work (just tested it).
If the issue is indeed software based, it should not be at play when the machine is booted to an OS Install CD. That's one of the reasons to boot to a CD - all software on the hard drive becomes nothing more than data files; none of it is in use.
One of the main causes for such behavior when using an Apple Pro mouse is that those mouses had a defect - the wires inside the cable could fray at the point the cable leaves the mouse body, causing random open or short circuits.
Another possible cause occurs when an optical mouse overloads the non-powered hub in the keyboard. This happened to me - it finally killed the keyboard. After replacing the keyboard I came across Apple KBase Article #58649 - Apple Pro Keyboard: Devices Connected. I reconfigured my USB connection scheme so that the mouse was plugged into the powered hub in my monitor, and have not had a similar problem since.

Okay So i resetted my iphone, because yesturday i plugged it in to my computer and i think something happend that then it didnt let me download apps it kept saying 1013 something , and it wouldnt let me get into my apps so when today i tried to restore it and it didnt work , thats when i decided to reset it and when i resetted it it resseted but now its been like a long time and its on an apple icon, and im freaking out cause this was my present and i think i broke it please someone whoevers out there hear my plea ! DId you try to jailbreak your phone? Evidently, the computer you're syncing with has been used to jailbreak, or attempt to jailbreak an iOS at some point and there is an entry in the host file that attempts to bypass Apple's authentication servers.

the top button on my iphone 4s is not working. So I tried to shut off my phone, now my phone is off and it keeps trying to restart up by its self and will not stay off. Try this:
While connected to iTunes, hold both the home and power buttons at the same time until the screen goes blank. When the Apple boot logo reappears, release the power button but continue holding the home button. If connected to iTunes, this should place the phone in Recovery Mode. You will need to restore your data from a backup afterwards.
If that doesn't work or you don't have a backup, let the phone keep trying to restart itself until it runs out of battery.

OMG freaking out please help!! Installer won't install..Disk Utility gone?

Newer mac user here with very little osx experience. First post on the forums really hoping you can help.
I have a couple issues right now. First of all, lately when I try to install apps nothing happens. More specifically, when I click on the .pkg file nothing happens. The screen kind of flashes (it doesn't really flash, but I don't know how else to describe it) like it wants to do something, but then.....nothing. This has happened recently with both a divx codec I downloaded from divx.com and also with neooffice. I have tried dumping the neooffice download in the trash and redownloading and trying to reinstall and it does the same thing everytime.....nothing.
Second....can someone tell me exactly what is supposed to be in the applications/utility folder? I thought there was a disk utility program in there that would allow me to reset permissions, but I can't find it!! I can't find it using finder either!! I am freaking out a little bit here and any help will be GREATLY appreciated.

Help my keyboard is freaking out

help my keyboard stopped working and randomly enters things when I press the letter F and the trackpad freaks out whenever i try to use it. The only thing ive don in the past day was set it on the counter while I was in the shower.

HELP- Audio is freaking out in export when it sounds fine/looks fine in Sequence!

My project sounds fine while editing, but once I export, towards the end of my project the audio is freaking out in levels. It will be loud at one point and then quiet at another all in a matter of 20 seconds. I originally had mp3 tracks but I switched all to AIF so I can't seem to find the problem. Please help!

When you swtiched audio formats did you go through compressor or just render in the timeline.
