Dear all,
How to check that if cond type AM02 (Amortztn payable) is linked to doc type ZAM (Scheduling agrt - amrtztn) properly??
If not, how to link them?
What is rel between Gross price, net price, Amortztn payable qty?
Thanks.

Hi Acharya,
There are no linked config regarding the two Condition Type and Document type..
1. Use of Condition type click here - http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/en/75/ee1fa755c811d189900000e8322d00/frameset.htm

  • DOCUMENT TYPE VS SALES DOCUMENT TYPE

    Hi friends
can u plz help me to find out difference between DOCUMENT TYPE and SALES DOCUMENT TYPE in terms of contain which they include. and their function.

    Hi,
Sales Doc type : A sales doc type is a doc which controls how the data is to function, how it is to be displayed and the pricing of the document type.
A sales doc is devided into
      1.  Pre sales Doc: Inquiry,Quotation
      2.  Sales orders  : cash sales,Rush orders,Order
      3.  Outline agrements: Rebates,contracts etc
      4.  Complints : debit memo,credit memos etc
      5. Special sales Docs : Third partysales,Consignment sales etc
All the 5 mentioned above are different document types.
Based on the Doc type which we enter in the transaction the system will repond according to that.
      Reward if it helps..

  • Adding object links to Document types

I tried adding the following object links to a document type
    1. STKO_DOC  BOM header   258
    2. STPO           BOM              266
    3. STPO_DPC   BOM item      259
After adding when i create a DIR against this doc type, the object link tab for all these above object links are greyedout. Its not accepting any user input for these object links.  Can anybody suggest me a solution?

  • Assigning PR document type to PO document type

    Good day,
This is the scenario, I have multiple PR doc types each corresponding to a PO.
    PR document types:
    NB - standard
    Z1 - internal1
    Z1 - internal2
    PO document types:
    NB - standard
    Z1 - internal1
    Z1 - internal2
Objective: all Z1 POs should be reference to Z1 PRs.
Can SAP automatically assign/restrict the document type of PO based on PR document type? How?

    Hi
I am not sure it will work or not

  • PR document type  to PO document type

    Hi  ,
Our PR document type is NB but when it is changed to PO , the document type changes to RO(PO No send to vendor) instead of NB(standard PO).
Kindly suggest any reason for this.
    Thanks

    Hi,
Go to define document type for PR and PO.
    Navigation:
SPRO --> Mat Mgmt --> Purchasing --> Purchase Requisition and Purchase order --> Define document types.
Check the linked document types and allowed item categories for NB.
    Thanks

  • PO Output message types for different document types

    Hi,
I wanted the system automatically generate the messages whenever a PO is created for different document types like NB,UB,Blanketorder, Pilot run.
These are the steps i did...plz advice any more steps to make this work
    1. the output type I am using is NEU-purchase order
    2. I have created condition records for document types NB,UB,PR etc
I was sucessfull in getting the messages automatically for the standard(NB) PO..but not for the other document types
Plz advice me how I can achieve this with further configurations
    Thanks
    SKid

If you have created conditin record for all the document type in MN04 then it should work becuase doc type has nothing to do for printing config.
this is basically a condition record.
    check your condition record

  • Assignment of billing document type with accounting document type

    Hi
I need one information regarding SD Billing Document type assignment with accounting document types.
Here CRM people asking me where we can see if the Billing doc type is BV( Cash Sale)  accounting document should be RV
Just go to T.Code VOFA for Billing document types. Based on this only system generate the Accouning documents RV, AB so onu2026u2026.
But how it is determining this accouning document type they want to know.
    Pls advice

In VOFA where it says Document type enter the FI doc type they want to post to. Otherwise it defaults to RV.
pls assign pts to say thanks.

  • Account types allowed for document type

    Hello,
when i am in the edit mode of document types through IMG, i can see the account types listed and can select the account types which can be posted with this document type.
but the issue is there are only 5 account types predefined, what if i have added a new account type?
    Thanks

No clasification is required for GL accounts to account types.
If a document type is assigned to account types then you can post documents using a document type only to the respective account types.
    Say for example,
You have a document type XY for which you have selected the account types D and K, then the document type XY can be used only to post to vendor and customer subledger and you can not use the doc type for rest of the three account types.,

  • Cutover from manual document type to automatic document type

Hi, has anyone ever cut over from manual to automatic document type?
(I have seen the opposite, where an automatic document type becomes manual. It was successful)
Eg in a data migration, to populate some interunit elimination history data (but avoiding runnnig tasks on history), we could post intrerunit via PL20 flexible upload to a 'manual' document type.
Then before first use of BCS tasks in the system, change the document type from manual to automatic.
i can't see any reason why it would not work, will need to be tested of course.
Any experience or comments out there?

Thanks guys, I've been too busy to test this but I'm very sure it does work and I also checked with SAP and they agreed.
So closing the message - I'll only update this message if it does NOT work as expected.

  • Z-document-type vs. standard-document-type

    All,
    I'm facing a philosophical question:
Since there's no REAL guideline for this I wanted to collect a few opinions and see where this is going.
Whenever I'm part of an implementation project, there's a lot of discussion going on concerning the approach when it comes to the realization. The question is whether to take the original, i.e. SAP-standard-document-types and customize them according to my customer's requirement or FIRST copy them and THEN customize them.
Don't want to present my personal opinion, yet, but I would appreciate you to post a few words on this!
    Thx & regards,
    Bobby

    True, true,
but why not customize the SAP-tested stuff according your customer's requirements?
The original SAP-setup may be copied from the golden client at any point in time, which is why I don't understand, why people tend to go the extra-step and copy it first (it always gives me the impression, that MORE than just customizing has been done to that type... especially, when it's poorly documented, which happens way too often!).
    Any other opinions on that?
    Regards,
    Bobby

We want only the domestic condition to apprear in the dropdown when the purchase team is creating a domestic contract. Does Condition sequencing provide any means to achive this?

Separate calculation schema are created for both domestic and import and they are attached to vendor. When  vendor is inputted in the contract, vendor is the determining factor of which calculation schema it should bring as attached in the vendor. So only conditions attached with vendor will be bought once vendor is entered in contract. It can be either local or import.

  • Excluding condition type for a Purchasing document type

    Dear all,
I want to excude a particular condition type from pricing in a Purchase order. How to do this and where actually it is assigned to a dcoument type? Please give steps in both spro and easy access?
    thanks and regards,
    Prashanth

    Hi
In standard SAP as far as I know there is no link to the condition type and the document type used. Condition types are included in Pricing procedures/schemas . This schema is assigned to vendor in purchasing and as per the schema the procedures gets activated during PO creation. We can have multiple pricing schemas customised to our requirement but the procedures ralways refer to vendor and not document types. Domestic vendor and Import vendor will be having separate Pricing schemes and the conditions types will be entirely different. You can include/modify all these condition types as per your requirement. You can take a decision whether to use a particular condition in a pricing condition in a PO or not  there is no problom in this.

  • SAP Easy DMS - Link between Document Area and Document Types

    Deat Friends,
Is there a transaction code or a customizing available to link the Document Area and Document Types??
For example: Document Area (DMS) is linked with Document Type (DRW)
    Thank you,
    Sri

    Hello Chandu,
We are trying to create a documents via TCODE: CVO1N
One of the entry we need to populate is the "DOCUMENT TYPE" to create a document. If, we enter the Document Type = DRW, we are not able to see our custom Storage Category while attaching/Check-in a document.
Where as, If, we enter the Document Type = DMO, we are able to see our custom Storage Category while attaching/Check-in a document.
I see that the Document Type = DRW is linked to Document Area = DMS
Similarly, the Document Type = DMO is linked to Document Area = FILESYSTEM
My question is, Is there a transaction code or a customizing option available to link the Document Area and Document Type?
    Thank you,
    Sri
