Configuring CRM factsheet in PCUI

Hi all
i am working with CRM 5.0 and EP 7.0.i am using BSP application for creating iViews. In application crmd_bus2000126 there is a factsheet button. This button doesn't work.
Do i need to make any changes in settings for this to work?
How is factsheet related to business partner cockpit?
What configuration need to be done at functional level?
thanks & regards
shankar

Fact sheet is a BSP application and can give a 360 degree view.To create the fact sheet ,views can be used.
A view is dependent on the selected business object. You can create views as forms or lists. Multiple iViews associated with a business object are combined in portal pages and are displayed as a fact sheet..
To create the i-views ,use the Business Package functionality,in this some views are already defined.
While Business Partner Cockpit enables you to view and information while transaction Processing or Business Partner maintainence. It contain a list of of favourite  business partner and quick link to their transactions.

  • CRM Factsheet Iview Configuration....

    Hello,
I am configuring CRM Factsheet Iview in EP 7.0.
I have created an iview with the Factsheet Iview Template
"CRM PDV based Factsheet Iview", which has parameter
    "Infoblock".
I have specified value of the Infoblock parameter for the same but when i try to preview or assigned that iview to user then in display it shows me the "Select the Business Object". It doesn't show any contents for those Iviews.
Is there any other parameter required or what could be the reason???
Anybody have any idea regarding this please reply !

    Hi Nikhil,
For which business role this factsheet appears presently?
Just to give you pointer "Account factsheet customizing is defined under sm34 view  "CRMVC_BUIL_PRT", in this customizing PDF smart forms and corresponding factsheet handler classes are registered against PFCG roles, which inturn assigned to business roles.
there could be similar view available for your requirement where we can maintain factsheet based on roles.

    Hi Rao,
For the SAP IMG Customization activity, you can have a look a the following SPRO link for the Account Fact Sheet Configuration.
SAP IMG -> Customer Relationship Management -> UI Framework -> Factsheet -> Maintain Factsheet.
You can get the SAP Help link at: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm60/helpdata/en/52/cff837a9aae651e10000009b38f8cf/frameset.htm
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,

  • Preqs for configuring CRM sales

I wish to know the preqs of configuring CRM w.r.t sales.
    Please help me out.
    Regards,
    KK Fletcher

    Fletcher,
Your question is too generic..Can you be a lil specific. Are you expecting an answer from a system config point of view?
As per my interpretation here is what i can say...
For all configurable products that were created in the R/3 system, you must create a knowledge base and a respective runtime version. You must then export these to the CRM system.YOu may see Note 741586.
After every change you make to the configuration model in the R/3 system, you must create a new runtime version and export it to the CRM system to ensure that you always have consistent models in the CRM system and the R/3 system.
Model changes that include changes to the master data, such as deleting a BOM item for example, are always critical and you should avoid them if possible.
In addition, you must maintain the price determination data correctly for the document type in the CRM system because configuration only works if the pricing for the document header runs correctly. See Note 743918.
This is an excerpt from an OSS note.

  • Custom Configuration - CRM Email Center

    Details what it’s occurring:
    1. In Email Center Custom Configuration, I created a new server group: EMC Desenvolvimento
    2. I created the Database Server: OEDES
    3. The DBA confirmed that the Global Name of the Data base is “OESDES”.
    4. I made the Custom Configuration of the Database Server, I typed name “OEDES” in the
Database Global Name field and clicked update.
    5. After that, when creating the link to Email Server Database for OO user, the following message appears:
“An error occurred while creating the database link due to invalid Database Global
Name. Please go to the Database Server page and enter a valid Database Global
    Name.”
    6. I found in Help link the “Creating the Database Server” text- item 9:
In the Database Global Name field, type the global name of the OES database. This value can be obtained from the GLOBAL_NAME table. It is
typically a combination of the database SID and the domain name. This field is
    not case sensitive.
    7. Being thus, I typed in the Global Name field a combination of the database SID and the domain name: “OESDES.<domain name>”.
    Other message appeared:

    Hello All,
Appreciate if you could provide any pointers. I think this either mite be related to the code link property of the iview or the PCD path of pages/roles which we do in CRM SPRO.

  • CRM factsheet and BI 7.0 Web-Templates in Federated Portal Network Scenario

    Hi All,
i have some essential questions regarding a Federated Portal Network Scenario.
    Our costumer works with 1 CRM-Portal (CRM 5.0, EP 7.0) and 1 BI-Portal (BI/EP 7.0).
He decided to implement a Federated Portal Network, using the CRM-Portal as the Consumer-Portal.
In the CRM-Portal we are working with the Business Package for SAP_CRM which also comprises Reports that are called from the BI.
The BI-Reports (BI 7.0 Web Templates) are now stored in the BI-Portal
How i can assign these BI-Reports (producer) into the factsheet of the CRM-Portal (consumer)?
Is that generally possible that the facsheet of the Consumer Portal (CRM) works togehther with BI 7.0 Web Templates from the Producer-Portal (BI)?
    Best regards
    Mustafa Darwish

    It's been solved.
See note: 1058268 - BI 7.0 WebTemplates do not run in CRM 5.0 specific iViews

  • Configuring CRM business Package - 4.0 60.2.3 and ISA on EP6SP11

    Hi all,
We have installed CRM business Package - 4.0 60.2.3 on EP6 SP11. For which we have created SAP_CRM system, filled in the all required parameters like application host, gateway service, client no, user authentication type etc.( Not ISA related parameters).
Now some of the iViews throws "GenericISAComponent" error. I suppose its because we haven't configure ISA system for the same.
Can anybody help me in how to configure ISA System for CRM business package. Do i have to create new system or i have to fill in ISA parameters of SAP_CRM system.
    Thanks and regards,
    Prath.

    Hello James,
    Thanks for the prompt reply...
But my question is whether I have to make these changes in SAP_CRM system itself or should i create new system namely ISA_B2B,SHOP_ADMIN,ISA_B2R etc.
    With regards,
    Amol.
Note : If you have already configured the CRM business package, please send me the documentation or the screen-shots of the system defined in portal on my e-mail id([email protected])

  • Configuring CRM Business Package

    Hi there,
I am new to EP.  Anyway I am currently trying to install a CRM Business Package 4.0 60.2 onto our EP.  I think I have successfully imported the business package.  I am now configuring it using the guidelines in saphelp.
I am working on the section: 'Syatem Mapping Service'. I am not sure what this section is required.  I tried following the steps to 'Enable the System Mapping Service' however on step 4 I cannot locate the 'com.sap.pct.crm.core.services' folder in the 'Service Configuration' section of the portal.  Does this mean I ahve not installed the business package properly?
I did a search in the EP server and found a smilar file in the folder: EPFolder\j2ee\j2ee_no\temp\transport\import\EPT and the file is named 'com.sap.pct.crm.core.services.par.ept'.  Does this mean anything to anyone?
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
    Many thanks
    JoJo

    Hi Jo Jo
Which document you are using to follow the steps?
Can you send the lisk for the document

  • Configure CRM, what books to read? (starter question)

Hi, I'm complete new to SAP. I read now many basis books what give me a overview about SAP. But what is not clear, and i want to know what books or other source you can recommend.
I want to learn how configuration works. Sample; In CRM there can be a complaint or service request. Assume, a delivery exist out of 100 products, but only 98 are delivered. The user file in online a complaint and the employee decide to give money back. When the employee fill in a "credit form" (or someting) SAP should automate the credit ..
This is a simple sample, but how i can learn to configure such event? (what book at sap-press.com does cover this kind of things) or where i can find how this kind of things exactly works?

    Hi,
You can download the config guides from Service mkt place.
    Good luck.

  • CRM 5.0, PCUI and Webclient texts

    Hi,
This is my first post so I apologise if I break any conventions.  Can anybody recommend a decent book or books for the above?  We are currently in implementation on CRM 5.0 as part of local government (to be used as an interaction centre), and all the books I've seen to read up on things seem to be for CRM 4.0 still.  Am I better off waiting until the new versions of the books come out, or are version 4.0 and 5.0 similar enough for me to get a book based on CRM 4.0?
    Thanks!
    Andrew G.

    Hi Ravela,
I tried it. But not resolved yet. I have IE7.0 installed and CRM 5.0 is of SP 09. I am not sure if this is compatible. Any inputs would be appreciated. I checked in the PAM but it says for IE7.0 EP7.0 should be of SP10 (min). But am trying it from Backend am not able to resolve it.
    thanks!
