Configuring Private Vehicle Entry and Vehicle Mileage Expense
Hello everyone, I have added these two functions to SSHR but for "Private Vehicle Entry" I get a oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: java.lang.NullPointerException
while for Vehicle Mileage Expenses, I end up with a "The selected action is not available. The cause may be related to security. Contact your system administrator to verify your permission level for this action."
Anybody know how to sort this out?
I'm on Vision, and it seems to work ok with the other SSHR responsibilities so I am guessing some setup is missing
Hi,
The issue is because your are not maintained vehicle type for the trip provision varient. The table T702E is for maintaining vehicle type for the trip varient. And create a new vehicle type and assign travel expense (FAK_) for the same. Pl let me know if your not understood. I faced the same issue and resolved.
Thanks,
Nandagopal C

I updated Apple Configurator to 1.3 and my database isn't migrating.
I updated Apple configurator to 1.3 from 1.2.1 and the database isnt migrating, it crashes during the process. When i use time machine to go back to before the update it starts trying to migrate again it doesnt revert it to 1.2.1 . When i try and revert back a few months the database does migrate but that was when we had personal profiles assigned to the devices but that was causing problems because a single corrupte user file can cause configurator to crash regularly and barely run. When i try and operate within the migrated 1.3 it beachballs/freezes as soon as you click anywhere within the app. Ideally i would want a away where i could revert to 1.2.1.

Also, it looks like there are issues with Lion and AC v1.3: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4613
I plan to stick with v1.2.1 until some of these issues get cleared up.
Good luck and hope this helps!!

My iPad locked after 1 incorrect passcode entry and I tried what a senior advisor told my to do, but it could not download the info unless I entered the correct pass code, which I can not do since it does not give me the opportunity. How do I get the window to enter my pass code?

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Try it and good luck. You have nothing more to lose if it doesn't work for you.

Monitoring of private customer Email and Web servi...
Following from another thread (see below)
Can anyone clarify what is monitored, kept, stored, manipulated or reused by BT, its subsidiaries, partners etc, including that required government agencies (I'm not asking about state agency covert spying for obvious reasons - your not allowed to tell). So when I delete an email inc delete from the server, is it?
This is not about contextual advertising; it covers ALL contact and handling of private communication of email and browsing activity. i.e. BT knows how much data flows in and out of my broadband account, so item one could be "data quantity is monitored" Item 2 is?
In relation to private emails sent and received by broadband customers
and
In relation to browsing activity.
I know the thread "Yahoo snooping on personal emails - BT too?" and have posted on that thread but thought it might be helpful to start with a fresh question directly related to BT as that is who I have a contractual agreement with.
Wondering what went wrong with human communication?mettauk wrote:

Configure Private VLAN on 3750 & 2960
Hi All,
( R ) ------ [ 3750 ] ------- [ 2960 A ]
|------------ [ 2960 B ]
I had these VLAN on the 3750 & 2960:
- Vlan 8 (mgnt Vlan), Vlan 17, Vlan 34, Vlan 35
Basically I had already configure switchport protected on all the port on the 2960 except the uplink to 3750.
2960 Configure
On uplink to 3750
switchport mode trunk
On end device port
switchport trunk native vlan 35
switchport trunk allowed vlan 34,35
switchport mode trunk
switchport protected
spanning-tree portfast
How do I go about configure private VLAN on the 3750?
3750 Configure
On downlink to 2960
switchport mode trunk
Interface vlan8
ip address 10.8.0.1 255.255.255.0
Interface vlan17
ip address 10.17.0.1 255.255.255.0
Interface vlan34
ip address 10.34.0.1 255.255.255.0
Interface vlan35
ip address 10.35.0.1 255.255.255.0
What I want to achieve is to send all the VLAN 8, 17, 34, 35 from 2960 to 3750 and 3750 to 2960. But at the same time prevent 2960 A client from talking to 2960 B client on VLAN 35?I believe that if both devices you want no to speak with each other are on 2960 the "switchport protected" should work.
But you can configure with private vlan.
let's say client A is in port f0/1 and client B in port f0/2
Parent (main) VLAN is 100 and child is 999
You would configure the VLANs in ALL switches.
vlan 999
private-vlan isolated
vlan 100
private-vlan primary
private-vlan association 999
Now you would need to configure the ports.
int range f0/1 - 2
switchport mode private-vlan host
switchport private-vlan host-association 100 999
If the interfaces will talk to other VLANs, you need to configure the SVI to understand it will serve the private VLANs.
interface vlan 100
private-vlan mapping 999
That's it, but notice that now interface f0/1 will not talk to f0/2 and to any other interface inside vlan 100, if you want a port to communicate to f0/1 or f0/2 this new port would need to be configured as a promiscuous one (In case it needs to talk to both of them) or create a community private-vlan and configure the ports desired on it. (F0/1 and F0/2 can't be on the same community VLAN or they'll be able to talk to each other).
If the intention is to prevent one specific port from talking to all the others, you can put only this interface in the private VLAN instead of both.
wrote too much, if this answers your question let me know, or we can create a practical scenario for it. -
After iPad ios 5 upgrade on Win7 64bit pc (x386 iTunes), iTunes gave me error "iTunes was interrupted while restoring, restore again now?" I try to restore but iTunes immediately gives error -50. Apple website says -50 is a timeout, but I have tried all fixes: changed usb ports, new cable, reset iPad, restart pc, remove sim... no good.
iPad starts in 'configure' mode, but won't restore from any of the several iTunes backups I have. Ready to giveup on 'restore'! iPad is sync'ed in iTunes, connects and syncs ok, so I don't want to lose that info.
Can someone from Apple advise - can I 'configure' as 'New iPad' and then restore or sync to recover my Apps and data etc? OR if I 'Restore' from iTunes 'Summary' tab, will I still be able to Sync to restore the iPad Apps and data?
I'm seeing a lot of frustrated Apple users online, hoping that a fix for this problem will help a few of us!! An iOS upgrade should not cause this much pain and wasted effort. You might already have tried all of these, but just in case:
1. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes.
2. If you're on a Windows PC, consider uninstalling iTunes and Quicktime, restarting the PC, then reinstalling. This sometimes fixes oddities.
3. Make sure you have no firewall or anti-virus running/active.
4. Try different USB cable; if you're using a cable via a hub, try connecting without the hub. On desktop PCs, the direct (non-internal-hub) USB sockets are usually at the back.
5. If yoiu haven't already done so, download the iOS5 update via the direct links I posted above
6. If using Update doesn't work, use Restore. Option-click (Mac) or Shift-Click (Windows) the Restore button in itunes.
7. Before you to the Restore, right-lick the entry for your device in iTunes and choose Backup from the drop-down menu. You may need this backup later.
If you're srtuck in recovery mode:
- There are some tips here for Windows users
http://thehowto.wikidot.com/ipad-stuck-recovery-mode
- If your device is stuck in Recovery mode, you can try putting it into DFU mode, from which iTunes should be able to Restore, as above. Details here:
http://www.tipb.com/2010/12/02/tip-put-iphone-ipad-dfu-mode/
- This link points to a utility that can help (Windows and Mac)

NULL Value in Journal Entry and Wrong Tax Summary
Hi people,
I need your expert help for a big problem that appens to some customers.
They run SAP BO 8.8 SP:00 PL:12
This is the scenario:
You insert a new documet, A/R Invoice or A/P Invoice is the same, problem appear in all of them.
After you insert the document, using SQL Server Management try this Select statment:
Select * from JDT1 where JDT1.debit is null OR JDT1.credit is null
A list of record where listed. And, this is the problem, NULL values are all in the VAT Lines in debit or credit colums.
If you try to make a SUM(debit-credit) you discovery that, 1000,00-null=null
Consequently, TAX Sumary report, that probably use arithmetic operation like me in SELECT statment, count a wrong number when null values in DEBIT or CREDIT column in JDT1 for VAT declaration.
How could I solve? And how i can make invoices store 0 rather than NULL in the VAT Line?
Thanks in advance for your tips and solutionsThaks Neetu for your answer.
I thinks there is a misurandertanding.
My problem is not SQL.
My problem is the SAP TAX Report.
I used SQL only for check data and discover why SAP raise a wrong TAX Summary report.
So, my question is: Why invoices write null values in journal entry, and how I can solve the problem that TAX summary report use null value in operations so the results are wrong.
Thanks,

I was trying to past an entry and the iCal program froze with an error message that can't be deleted, the program stuck indicating updating and totally non-reponsive. i can only exit by force quit. It is stuck on yesterday which is the day I was trying to paste an entry. I think the entry was too large. How can I get out of this. i've restarted the program and the ocmputer but it doesn't change. I wonder if I could use time machine to go back to a previous cal version? Any ideas? I have my cal also on iphone and at icloud so I am not at a total loss. Except that i cal is now totally non functional.
Joe,
Try removing the com.apple.iCal.plist file from your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences Folder. To find that folder, use Finder>Go Menu>Depress the "Option" key>Library. Drag the .plist file to your desktop, and log out/in or restart and check iCal for functionality. -

We need to develop a function module to display cash journal opening balance line item entries and closing balance of specific period.
we have found document entries through table TCJ_DOCUMENTS or TCJ_POSITIONS now require help to generate opening and closing balances.
Please help for the solution.
AARHi,
check FM FCJ_GET_DATA_FOR_SCREEN. Next time you can try to figure out by yourself. The program for transaction FBCJ is not that complicated and you can easily find this FM used there.

How do I configure DW to open and load a file?
I have DreamWeaver CS5 running on a Mac. Whenever I double-click to open a DreamWeaver compatible file (such as an HTML file), if DW is not already open, DW launches but does not load the file. Once DW is launced, I can double-click the file and it will load. How do I configure DW to open and load a file together?
DW: v11 b 4993
OS X: 10.7.4 (11E53)HTML files are normally configured to open in a browser. The default on a Mac is to open the file in Safari.
You can right-click the filename in the Mac Finder, and select Open With > Dreamweaver CS5 from the context menu.
Alternatively, select an HTML file in Mac Finder, and press Cmd+I to open the Info panel. In the Open With section, select Dreamweaver CS5 as the default program, and click the Change All button. -
Yikes! After upgrading my iPhone 3GS to iOS 5, I lost my Contacts, calendar entries, and Notes (100+) on my iPhone (3 years old). How do I retrieve them? My last backup/sync to iTunes acct was Sept 18 but yesterday's backup bombed due to lack of space on my C: drive.
This happened to me too but it was really all there. Go to your calendar, click on calendar in the upper left hand corner, click on show all calendars, click done in the right upper corner. Everything should show up!!!
I was super thrilled. Hope this works for you!!
